Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@Indianna2006 that 2nd trimester burst of energy has still yet to appear for me! 😆 glad u are feeling better xx

FfayeN · 26/10/2022 19:43

@calimc83 ah that's good to know thanks for the reassurance.
@Indianna2006 I was so fatigued today I fell asleep at my desk 🤣. Luckily only one other person was in and had gone to lunch!!

@FfayeN haha oh god. The first trimester exhaustion is like nothing else. I am a bit of a night owl. An I could not for the life of me stay up past like 8pm once I got to 6 weeks. It’s mostly gone now and I feel relatively normal Altho need the odd nap if we’ve been out on a busy day. But nothing like before thank god.
your body is super super busy doing all that crucial early elements which are so important so rest up 🥰🥰

TheBirdintheCave · 26/10/2022 22:45

@Indianna2006 @FfayeN I never had the fatigue with my son. I kept waiting for it as it seemed to be a symptom everyone got but nope, nothing. 😂

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 11:23

@TheBirdintheCave sorry covid caught you..have you many symptoms? Xx

AF has arrived for me today after a desperately hormonal 12 days. Glad to see her to be honest xx

FfayeN · 27/10/2022 11:33

@MrsCristianoX 😬 DH is not going to be impressed! Has this cycle been shorter for you?
@TheBirdintheCave I'm at a horrible stage of not being able to stay awake in the day but not able to sleep at night 😵‍💫. How are you feeling today? Xx

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 11:42

@FfayeN actually bang on! Ovulated CD14 had a 12 day luteal phase..mine are normal 26 days 😊 chemical pregnancy cycles make them about 3 days longer. 12 days is good enough though I think Xx
Haha poor DH 😂 man has no luck 😅

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 11:43

@FfayeN ooh I remember that phase 🙈 good signs though lovely xx

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 11:46

@FfayeN just thinking I have no luck now. I think I've a pretty good idea of what's gonna happen tonight now 🤢 (tmi girls sorry)

TheBirdintheCave · 27/10/2022 11:53

@MrsCristianoX @FfayeN I feel like I have a very bad cold. I can do small jobs but then have to go and lie on the sofa as I'm cold and shaky. I'm not as bad as my husband though who was basically bedridden for two days.

FfayeN · 27/10/2022 11:59

@MrsCristianoX perfect!
@TheBirdintheCave make sure you take it easy, it can really knock you for 6 xx

@FfayeN I'm trying to but my husband still ins't 100% and we still have the toddler to wrangle 😭

pangolin84 · 27/10/2022 15:38

Well Fertility Friend has decided I actually ovulated two days later after all so I’m back to 4 dpo.
We’re away on holiday at the moment so it’s nice to have a little bit of distraction.

Sorry you got covid @TheBirdintheCave. It’s so much worse when you have to worry about looking after a rampaging toddler at the same time as trying to recover. I’m convinced I got it from my DS (or the soft play I took him to 🙈). Somehow DH escaped it.

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 15:49

@pangolin84 oh lovely! I'm trying to book a few nights away too atm

mummatara · 27/10/2022 15:54

My friend at work brought me in some pain killers for my tooth I've felt totally off my head this afternoon 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ won't be taking those again my tooth doesn't hurt anymore though 💪🏼 I'm still in boring limbo

bunnykins123 · 27/10/2022 16:27

@pangolin84 I don't think FF predicts my O date v accurately. I'm having a scan tomorrow so will be interested to know if I have any juicy follies ready to pop or if it'll be a while. It's so weird when someone in the household doesn't get it. Me and DD have been dying for over a week with something nasty and DH has absolutely nothing!

@mummatara what did she give you?! 🫣

mummatara · 27/10/2022 16:29

@bunnykins123 zapain which I think is a co-codamol 🤔😂

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 17:18

@mummatara oh my 🙈

mummatara · 27/10/2022 19:18

@MrsCristianoX thankfully not feeling quite so high now 😂 she gave me 3 different painkillers which I think were from one of her ops she had I think they might be a bit overkill for just my toothache if I'm honest 😳 but she was telling me about when I should take what think she's trying to knock me out 😂

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 19:24

@mummatara mmm yea if she was a man I'd be worried 😅 hope you got home ok xx orajel high strength is really popular in my shop..peeps are buying 3 at a go (it's impossible to get a dentist in ni 🙄)

mummatara · 27/10/2022 19:36

@MrsCristianoX 😂 oh dear 🙈 yes got home fine thankfully I do only work about 10 mins from home. Ooh I'll see what the dentist does tomorrow and if it's nothing I'll whip into the pharmacy for some of that. I've had to book a private dentist because nhs kicked me out 🙄 I'm on the waiting list for a space but god knows when that might be 🤷🏼‍♀️ £125 just for the appointment joke

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 19:42

@mummatara I would believe that. Dentists aren't even taking on private work here. It's dreadful. Toothache is no joke 😕

bunnykins123 · 28/10/2022 11:43

Just let wanted to give you an update, I had my hyfosy this morning. I'm SO glad I had it done - the speculum part was a bit 'ouch' but overall, it was a pretty easy procedure. The good news is my tubes are open and I have a much higher AFC than my AMH was predicting so high fives all around 👏

bunnykins123 · 28/10/2022 11:53

Ooo I forgot - I asked my consultant about vitamins. He told me that ubiqunol is expensive and doesn't actually do a great deal of anything. He said unless your AFC is really low, it won't make much difference to egg health but to keep taking it if I was happy with it. He said pregnacare is a good multivit but ultimately the ones he recommends is folic acid, vitty d, omega 3 and vitty e. I hope that helps 💕

mummatara · 28/10/2022 12:23

@bunnykins123 ahhh that's excellent news 💕 v interesting I'm going to take it for a few months but don't think I'll carry on for ages as like you say is expensive 🙄
