Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?

@FfayeN nice what have you gone for? I'm an hour into trying to get ds to sleep he's fighting it so bad and I've got a bath and candles with my name on it typical 🙄 Dh has ventured off out so I was looking forward to peace and quiet 🤣 I'm glad they've let you home xxx

@mummatara oh I hope he settles soon so you can get some well needed relaxation in!I've gone for Greek gyros, so not tooooo bad 🤣 xx

@FfayeN I'm glad you're out :) Sorry about your hand though, what an annoyance! Gyros sound lovely. I haven't had one since I was in Greece :)

sorry lovely I don't use the CB they always seemed to complicated to me! Regular OPKs are cheap as chips and I can interpret them easily. Did you do regular OPKs aswell as the clearblues on day 13/14?

I didn't start strip OPKs until CD15 (day after the digital static smiley) annoyingly! Always assumed the digital ones are better but from the sound of it on here maybe I need to do both from around CD12 each month.

@monsteramunch From what I understand they work quite differently so yeah I'd do both from the start then you can see what the difference is ☺️.

@FfayeN I'm 4+5 so still really early. I arranged a scan at the EPU for the 20th when I'll be 8+1 if I get that far. I've got weirdly sore stomach muscles (??) today so now I'm scared something is wrong.

@FfayeN it was bliss ❤️ how are you feeling today? I've had a non stop day and just got to the hospital for my blood test. Hospital is dead on a Saturday at 6pm 🙈

I've had a pretty manic day seeing my family, just sitting down to try and watch a film with DH who will no doubt last 2 mins before falling asleep. Rock and roll!!!! xx

@FfayeN well she told me to call in the morning as she said it will be late when they are done as I didn't get there until a bit later and they were done at 6. I might try calling at 10 and see if they are back and if not morning it is. I wondered if af might make an appearance actually as I've had back ache all day today 🤷🏼‍♀️ probably my body just wanting to torture me some more 🙄 haha my DH can't sit through a film either then he starts snoring which ruins it 🤣

@bunnykins123 I'm 100% with you on this. Although they say there is no evidence, it clearly works for some people so why not try it? I would if I had a chance.

Oh lovely ladies... What did I just read.... There is a thread where a woman had a m/c and her 'friend' is asking her not to get pregnant again till after her wedding (wedding some time next year) otherwise she would get very angry.
HOW ENTITLED CAN SOME PEOPLE BE?
I remember seeing a video on a similar story before (sometimes I enjoy watching bridezilla videos on YT) where someone had an ectopic and their 'friend' asked them to not TTC until after the wedding as 'if something goes wrong again, I don't want this to overshadow my wedding if everyone feels sorry for you instead of focusing on me'.

@FfayeN omg can't actually believe I'm writing this..tried to DTD this morning..couldn't get it in 😂 now bare in mind my last baby was 9lbs..did not expect this 🙈 no foreplay though, that is the key was running late for work

@lovenaps oh my goodness that's just absolutely awful. Clearly her so called friend has never had a problem TTC or lost a baby this makes my absolute blood boil 🤬 how are you feeling now?

@MrsCristianoX hahah oh the wonderful foreplay 😍 this made me LOL. DH was suggesting an early night tonight I told him only if he shaves that god awful beard/stubble off or he ain't coming near me 😂

@mummatara I'm just anxious which is probably to be expected. Trying to feel optimistic about the 13 week scan but then the next second I am like 'but what if I go in there and the news are bad?'.
Ordered a colouring book off Amazon, that might help 😂DH's parents came over for dinner today which was lovely.

and also, of course everyone would want their friends to be happy and do what makes them happy (in this case continue TTC). Why on Earth would some people think their weddings are so special that everyone else should put their lives on hold?

@FfayeN just wanted to reply to your comment where you said you weren't sure whether to try once more before the results come back or not. It is a tough decision to make... I would say you can see how you feel around O and and also once you know how long it would take for the results to come back... I know someone who had three losses before she had her now adult daughter but her daughter was one of the twins so technically she had 4 losses.. And this was before the days when all the tests that we have now were available. I would probably try again because it can work but it's totally understandable that some (or maybe most?) people would feel more comfortable waiting for the results. Do what feels right for you ❤x I believe the decision will come naturally to you.

@lovenaps yes totally get your ups and downs I think it's completely normal to feel that way ❤️ omg I love a colouring book I think it's a great idea! When is your scan?

@mummatara hopefully they have your results, the anticipation must be hard to bare!

@lovenaps thanks for your reply. I think we will wait, as it will give us an idea whether IVF is the only way forward. I don't think I can chance another 10week miscarriage, it takes 6 months out of the year each time in recovery etc, we will have to wait 10 weeks for our results but by the time christmas is done it won't be too long.
I can't believe the story about the wedding, that is just not a friend at all!
