Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?
Hope you are all doing well and if there's anyone I've missed from the usual bunch feel free to add 😘😘😘

@MrsCristianoX I'm so sorry 😢 AF got me yesterday too. I n ow you feel like throwing in the towel it don't give up. My friend announced last night on FB - she's 41 and is going through a surprise pregnancy after 2 kids who are teenagers. This gave me the hope I needed!

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 09:39

@MrsCristianoX oh lovely I am so sorry. It seems to be an implantation issue then possibly? Are you under a recurrent miscarriage unit? There must be something that can support that stage?
Really thinking of you...how shit is this journey! Unbelievable highs and lows and it all takes its toll, sending big hugs your way 😘 xxx

@mummatara after @Indianna2006 has worked her wizardry on the collage app I am praying this is a new one for you xx

@Indianna2006 @bunnykins123 I did retest this morning I can't decide if it's the same or lighter than yesterday my first look makes me think lighter 🤔 might be a bit clearer when I go home and it's fully dry.

@bunnykins123 haha I still think I'm leaning more towards residual I think im about 70/30 in favour of residual but could be that I just don't want to get excited about it possibly being new incase it isn't 🙊

@Indianna2006 well I'm happy your so invested because you help a lot ❤️ I would never have thought to put them together in a collage for starters 🤣

@MrsCristianoX oh so so sorry lovely I was really rooting for you ☹️ big hugs and love ❤️

@FfayeN thank you lovely 🤞🏼 the collage really does look like something but I am trying not to get too hopeful I'm sure the chances are slim. Now to slog out the next 2 days 🙄 how you feeling today? Xxx

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 10:16

@mummatara I totally get that, we all have to guard our own emotions.
Yeah I'm doing ok. Just hard to know what the next step is. I spoke to CRP and they were helpful, said we can have the tests there and if we decide not to proceed then the results are ours, which would help financially for sure. Found out yesterday that DH has borderline low motility so it's amazing we've fallen so quick each time...Lord bless the fertilily! Xx

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 23/11/2022 11:44

@mummatara I assume that's the one at the bottom? As I agree it does look lighter but like you say, these tests have a mind of their own and get darker over several hours!

@FfayeN that's good that you spoke with them. When's your next appointment? Oh wow that's interesting. Maybe the fertilily really is the magic behind having a baby?! Must be more proactive with mine next month!

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 12:06

@bunnykins123 they have appts from the beginning of Dec but I think we'll have to wait as I haven't even had the procedure yet so jumping ahead of myself a little! I also am just going to check with the Coventry hospital as they do NK Cell testing too, it's the balance of time over money somewhat! I think there may be a balance but got to hash it out with DH. It's just so hard what to do next xx

OP posts:
mummatara · 23/11/2022 12:24

@FfayeN sorry if this is a dumb question what is CRP? Im glad they will let you keep results though that's good news. Oh wow poor spermies is there anything he can do for motility? amazing on the fertilily it really must just get so much more in the right spot wonder if they have a Black Friday deal 🤔🙊

@bunnykins123 yes the bottom one is todays. Does make you wonder they are all from the same box so no crossover at least. I can't decide whether to waste a frer tomorrow. I probably shouldn't but I probably will 😆

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 12:29

@mummatara it's the private clinic that Dr Shehata runs (the same Dr @bunnykins123 is seeing via the NHS) it's the Centre for Reproductive Immunology and Pregnancy. Yeah I've ordered a load of supplements to improve it hopefully! I think he's a little in denial. He said last night 'but you're still getting pregnant', but doesn't realise it all has an impact on the quality of the pairing as such. Men and their egos 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

OP posts:
mummatara · 23/11/2022 12:36

@FfayeN ahhh makes sense now I know 💕 lol yes they don't like to think there's anything wrong with the junk male ego indeed. I don't think DH knows what any supplements I've bought him do he just takes them and doesn't question my insanity in making him take a million pills. When I told him yesterday the result and said there's a possibility it could be a new one he said do you think that's possible I was like well we danced the dance so yes 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

calimc83 · 23/11/2022 16:48

@MrsCristianoX @bunnykins123 ahh so sorry girls ☹️. I hope u are both ok. Wine and chocolate required xx

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 17:27

@mummatara 🤣🤣🤣 it's like they don't even know the basics of the birds and bees 😂. Xx

mummatara · 23/11/2022 18:01

@FfayeN 😂😂 they weren't paying attention to that part of class 🙊

Got home and todays line has dried and is barely there looks very similar to Saturdays line the one after the negative 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't think I'm going to waste a frer tomorrow unless the IC line looks considerably darker. I'll get my answer in the evening but honestly after seeing that I really do think it's just residual. Guess in theory I won't have long to wait for my period about 7-10 days if it's going to be a 30 ish day cycle then can crack on again

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 19:06

@mummatara tomorrow you will have answers either way as you say. Then mentally you can process the next steps! We get back on that horse and go again...and again...and again xx

mummatara · 23/11/2022 19:31

@FfayeN we do indeed we just carry on ❤️ as hard as each one is I'm not giving in we'll get there eventually xxx

MrsCristianoX · 23/11/2022 19:36

Just had a look at the clinic in Belfast I was mentioning a few days ago. They test for Nk cells. Though my 8 week miscarriage was more medical negligence. It was an unplanned pregnancy and I was on stronger blood thinners but by the time the consultant got back to me I had already haemorrhaged 😢 so does that count as recurrent? So 8 weeks, 6 weeks and possibly 3 chemicals but the chemicals aren't on my notes. Ignore me I'm thinking out loud.

mummatara · 23/11/2022 20:59

@MrsCristianoX can you ring the doctors and tell them about the latest chemical so it's on your notes since it's just happened then there is a record of at least 3 whether 1 was medical negligence or not it's still a MC and they might not look too hard into the reason you had that one see you've had 3 and sign you up for tests 🤞🏼

MrsCristianoX · 23/11/2022 21:23

@mummatara yea I'm there tomorrow so I will do. They were very vague at the time of the 8 week miscarriage like 'this might have happened anyway' so I suppose it's still noted as no reason. Ugh. The consultant rang me when I should have been 10 weeks to recommend switching due to 'risk of prepartum haemorrhage' I was actually speechless. Took me 10 months to talk DH into trying again.

Hope you ladies are doing ok xx

FfayeN · 23/11/2022 22:36

@MrsCristianoX I really recommend updating your doctor about the chemicals too. In my trust it says 3 miscarriages, so when I had my 2nd 'proper one' I told them it was the 3rd and included my chemical. They never asked for dates, only on the midwife referral form later on which the recurrent unit don't see.
You definitely have reason to request some further testing if only by your GP in the first instance, possibly even progesterone testing within your cycle to check it's rising to support early pregnancy. Give them a call and see what they say, just remember to fight for yourself to get what you want (this includes any little white lies 🤣) 😘 xxx

Indianna2006 · 24/11/2022 08:51

@MrsCristianoX deffo agree. No harm in Docters doing some basics tests to run and see where they sit 💕

@FfayeN hope you’re doing okay lovely. Any idea yet from hospital when they can fit you in?

@mummatara fingers crossed today you get an answer. And if it’s residual. That it fucks off soon

FfayeN · 24/11/2022 08:57

@Indianna2006 No it's actually quite frustrating being in limbo waiting for the call. They did say hopefully this week but I imagine it'll be next week now 😔.
How are you doing?

@lovenaps @theblueflowers how are you ladies doing? Xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 24/11/2022 09:08

@FfayeN I hope they call you today <3

@bunnykins123 Sorry AF came for you, I missed that update :(

@MrsCristianoX Definitely include the chemicals as they were still miscarriages even if they were really early on.

FfayeN · 24/11/2022 09:13

@TheBirdintheCave how are you doing? ☺️ xx

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 24/11/2022 09:22

@FfayeN I'm alright, just more of the same sore boobs and retching in the morning. I'm also finding I get a lot sleepier in the middle of the day and had to take a fifteen minute nap on the sofa after lunch on Tuesday 😂 Lines are looking good still so I might feel confident enough to actually register the pregnancy on Monday at five weeks. We shall see.

It's my little boy's second birthday today so we're off for pizza tonight 😬
