Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?

These are the tests they really are all over the place 🙄 I've just done another and it's come up with a very clear line straight away it's been about a minute 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm destined to forever have hcg in my system it seems 😂 I've tested everyday since Thurs I honestly can't help myself it feels like it will never leave even though it really wasn't that high 2 weeks ago 🙄

@mummatara it's weird the middle one looks nearly blank. It's so frustrating waiting for it to leave but I feel in one week it should have dropped significantly 💕

@FfayeN only CD11 but I'm just trying to DTD every couple of days. I have trust issues with OPKs 😂

@FfayeN DH doesn't know I'm using this😂 It was well stuck this morning I had visions of me yelling at him to get it out..I mean it's on my bedside table he just hasn't noticed 🙄

@mummatara I know it's hard but maybe try and wait until Thursday so it's been a week? It will be going down xx
@MrsCristianoX haha don't we all!!! It's only a guide anyway so if you can do every few days then good for you! Haha I can only imagine what men must think when they see these contractions, completely clueless aren't they! x

@FfayeN this is a trial month..no doubt I'll be back to them in December 🙄 DH seems pretty up for it atm 🙌 his work trip has been put back to January, honestly you can tell a man is organising this..too much 'faffing'!! Not that I'm complaining

@mummatara happy birthday lovely. Cocktails and wine atm sound blissful. Ive resorted to sniffing DHs cider cans 😂😂 bad times.

@MrsCristianoX @FfayeN yea I know I should leave it until Thursday there is just this horrible compulsive need to do it for some reason. I don't feel stressed about it I just can't help myself I know there's nothing I can do to change when I ovulate etc it will happen when it happens but it's like I want to know the day it happens for some weird reason 😂

@mummatara I don't blame you at all for keeping testing, after all it is the name of the thread 🤣. Now you've had the procedure it shouldn't be long before it happens.

@lovenaps hi lovely. Thanks for coming back to this thread 🥰. I noticed you posted on the other one, I didn't realise you, me and @theblueflowers were all so close together. All within 4/5 days. How are you doing? Are you going to have an early scan? I know @theblueflowers has, I have chosen not to just yet xxx

@FfayeN hey ❤. Yes, we are! When I was TTC and someone would share their positive test news on the thread, it would always give me hope. Same now, for some reason it gives me hope when there are other people with similar stages.
Feeling a bit negative today thinking of all the possible bad outcomes, I know it's not helpful and I need to stop! Definitely developed anxiety with the whole TTC business. Still planning to go ahead with the early scan but will see how I fcloser to the scan, might ask for the scan to be pushed back another week if EPU allows...

@MrsCristianoX good luck ttc this month! I still remember when you had to take time off, it feels like the time has flown by...!

@lovenaps absolutely, I have tried to stay away from some of the threads other than the three we share, and I definitely have steered away from googling statistics etc. I have found trying where possible to forget I'm pregnant seems to be working, the progesterone has become just my daily routine, and I'm not getting to hopeful, it's so tough mentally but I got my hopes up so much the last time with early scans. You will know when it comes to it if the time is right 🥰. Do you have any symptoms?
I feel it's come at the perfect time actually and a good distraction. When I'm back home though that'll be when I become neurotic about everything 🙈 xx

I was trying to forget as well, worked (kind of) up until week 5 but not afterwards 😂
I have never had any symptoms (incl. prev. conceptions) other than fatigue but then.. I'm always tired! Got slightly sore breasts with this pregnancy but it's very subtle and I don't think it's anything like what most pregnant people describe... Weeing a lot more often. No nausea. Struggling to breath at night, I read it could be due to hormonal changes but I think it could also just be anxiety related. So other than these, no proper symptoms. Not panicking though as I know some people don't get symptoms.

@lovenaps I have been totally different this pregnancy compared to my others, I literally only developed sore boobs last week and the last few days I'm just a bit off my food but nothing major. Lower back ache but that seems to be subsiding, it's sometimes hard to know what's a normal ache and what's pregnancy though! Like you I'm just taking hope in the fact each one can be different.

DH is a little unbearable with any new symptom though (for example yesterday I said I had a tummy ache, as in felt sick) he pulls a face of terror which stresses me out so I'm trying to avoid telling him anything else and just say I'm fine at the moment 🙁. xx

I don't think I'm going to ovulate this cycle 😭I was expecting a temp rise today but it's still around the same as it's been for the last week. CD 21 today and all O symptoms have gone.

@FfayeN @lovenaps best thing to do is just pass the time. And count each milestone. And look at it in stages.

16 week Midwife appt today. Hoping she does the Doppler and I get to hear heartbeat but I know they don’t all do it. 😩

@TheBirdintheCave oh no!! Why are our bodies so frustrating. Perhaps it’s gonna be a late one

@TheBirdintheCave did you get a peak on opk? I'm CD17 today and just got my peak. This is way later than usual for me and I was almost about to sack it off this cycle. Could it be that you haven't ovulated yet?

@FfayeN oh god I can't imagine your DH's reaction to every symptom easing the anxiety! Have you spoken to him about it? I wouldn't worry about symptoms - I honestly don't believe they are much of anything tbh!

She wouldn’t check for it. So that’s given me zero reasurance 😩😩

@Indianna2006 I don't use them as they've never worked for me. I normally ovulate between CD16-19. It is possible it just hasn't happened yet I'm just annoyed it's taking so bloody long lol.

@Indianna2006 What? Why wouldn't she do it? That's really cruel of her :(

@TheBirdintheCave just said it wasn’t policy anymore. An I know it isn’t. But seems most still do. Especially as your small. As the main issue with ppl who were large and the fat layers like can block the heartbeat and cause worry. But if your small they’ll find it easy. I’m size 8. So no issues there.

so annoyed and now don’t feel like my anxiety is reassured again. Dating scan to 20 week scan is a long ole time again.

also cos I’ve not felt them. Think that doesn’t help.

@Indianna2006 I didn't know that wasn't policy anymore! I refused to have mine done at my 16 week scan and the midwife told me I was being silly and did it anyway 😂 I'm so sorry you didn't get that reassurance today, I know how disappointing it must have been especially when you hoped it would happen.

@TheBirdintheCave my guess is you haven't O'd yet in that case. Do you think you can muster continuing to dtd until you get a temp increase? We have been doing every other day and I'm already done 🤦‍♀️

@Indianna2006 I hope u are ok? That's so rubbish that she wouldn't check it for you. You'd think with the previous history of ladies with MC that they'd automatically check for you? Mine was really good and did so as soon as I got in the room when I told her how anxious I was xx

@calimc83 she was just an old cow tbh. You know when you don’t warm to people. She was one of them. Altho had audience of 2 other ppl. So didn’t really feel comfortable. Think it just differs in area doesn’t it. Which feels unfair sometimes.
