Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. @TheBirdintheCave @MrsCristianoX how did you spill the swimmers? Are you putting the spermies in it and then inserting? Honestly the suction on it when trying to remove it is insane!

@bunnykins123 nooo I pulled it out after 20 mins and they were all stuck to it🙈 I don't think I used it right 😂

@MrsCristianoX if it makes you feel any better, I took mine out after an hour or so. I pulled it out whilst sat on the toilet and I had an explosion of 'stuff' come out. Never had that before 😬😳

I don't even know. The suction went well I though but I think some escaped from out of the cup as I was putting it in which then leaked out 😂

Husband did quip that there 'felt like a lot' 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@TheBirdintheCave oh god😂 mine says that too if he's been without it for a few days 😆 I'll give it another go tonight/tomorrow 🤞

@MrsCristianoX @TheBirdintheCave yeh deffo normal for it to come out once you remove it out. It will all sit in the cup as such. So if you remove the cup and there is semen in it. It done its job basically. That semen would of just deposited near your cervix but gradually made its way down as you stood up and moved etc. so it keeps it higher for much longer.

some can also leak via the sides. But again same as would with normal sex with nothing to worry about.

i swear I have like popped over the last week and feel huge already 😂😂
also felt in a funny headspace. Can’t explain it. Very irrational and emotional. Like they say before period comes when your pissed of at everyone but it’s EVERYDAY. Must be hormones I think. But I don’t remember this with DD. But think my hormones can make me feel low etc more so since her as I’ve suffered with anxiety and stuff.
Think my poor DH never know who he’s getting Jekyll or Hyde 🙈

@Indianna2006 I was hoping you would comment..thank you! I felt like shoving it back in when I saw that. How long did you keep it in for?

Hormones are awful! Do you have a gut feeling as to gender yet? Hope you're keeping good apart from that Xx

@MrsCristianoX haha no don’t shove it back in. I’d be more concerned if the cup was empty tbh. If there’s sperm in it. It’s what you want as then your cervix sits in that pool of sperm so easy access for them.

I used to do an hour or more. Max 2 hour if during day. But tbh if we had sex late at night before bed. I then left it in overnight. As I didn’t wanna take out after 20 mins as didn’t seem long to me. An mine was always okay. Altho guess like @bunnykins123 about it degrading overtime.
i used mine 3 months way too low down. Then once realised I wasn’t pushing it high enough for pregnant on 4th month. Which I obv mc. So then I used it 5th month. Chemical. And 6th month.
so because I got the the 6th cycle. I did buy a new one to compare. An it had started to turn a little off colour. So binned it and used new one that cycle and bingo is this baby in belly!

so I would leave in overnight if easy. Just check it for discolouring and replace after 6 cycles but hopefully before 6 cycles it will work 😄

once I used it right. I was pregnant 3 out of 4 cycles of using it. 🥳

I know. Bloody hormones! I just feel bit guilty. Like why am I randomly crying. Like and not really sure what about. But real emotional crying 🤷🏻‍♀️ Pregnancy is so bizarre lol.

I have an inkling it’s a girl. But more cos the nub on the dating scan seemed girly and my friends said the skull look girl shaped. But who knows. Super happy either way. But slight inkling it may be another DD.
we will find out at 20 week scan if we can. Which is about 4 weeks away now!

but neither me or DH care. DD says it’s a brother. But will only help me if it’s a baby sister 🤣🤣bribary!! as long as it’s healthy. Then we are all blessed 🥰

I'm thinking girl because compared to my boys I was an absolute mess with my DD. Healthy and happy is all we can pray for, 🙏😘

@Indianna2006 good to know about the discolouration of the fertilily! I'll probably use mine for a few more cycles. Did you find that once it was properly 'in' that pretty much the entire stringy thing was in there too? I think I was expecting a bit more left out, like a tampon so got all worried it would get lost in the void 😂 I defo think girl based on your nub pic!

@bunnykins123 yes everyone would be slightly different depending how long there vaginal canal is 🙈 but yes mine basically was all up there.
If mine was in right place and suctioned right up by my cervix. The ball at the end of the thing would basically be at the entrance of my vagina. 😂

It can go pretty deep. If you got more than half that length at the end sticking out it’s prob not nowhere near deep enough to work.
the cervix goes higher as well as ovulation so it is like RIGHT up there 😂😂

@Indianna2006 gotcha that's really helpful. I was a bit worried that maybe I was pushing it too far up, but it sounds like I've cracked it which is reassuring. Still haven't figured out how to flip it, but maybe I'll try that tonight. Annoyingly, my cycle is totally off this month. It's cd15 and I'm still getting flashies with no indication that peak is on its way. Why is it that when you're ttc your cycles go haywire?!?!

@bunnykins123 @Indianna2006 it was my first time using and i didn't read how to twist the umbrella bit back up so I started watching the video with my hand in trying to flip it. Ffs totally missed the easy bit. The video was like 'don't forget to orgasm' I'm like really? This current situation is NOT ORGASM INDUCING. I'm not doing OPKs this month. For some reason they freak DH out😂

We've drunk allllllll the wine 😂 had a awesome dinner and been to a cocktail bar which was very disappointing 🙄 they were understaffed so we had 3 drinks in the space of 2 hours 🙄 DH has passed out on me and is now snoring his head off after i informed him we couldn't have any bedroom fun until next week 😂 I poas this morning still positive but no shocker there im hoping since it was low maybe mid to end of next week 🤞🏼

The toddler managed to crush my boob this morning when he wanted a hug in bed. They're currently sore anyway so that really did not help matters 😂 Feels like he burst a cyst or something 😨
