Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Please feel free to leave this one if you don't feel the same but I feel so invested in your journeys and don't want to miss any news. Hoping this is ok, I don't think you can do DM as a group?

@Indianna2006 I'm sorry the appointment didn't give you any reassurance, we're they happy otherwise with how the pregnancy is progressing? It has helped being busy today, although felt like my nausea had gone and panicked but now I've stopped it's definitely still there a bit!
@bunnykins123 I did say to DH yesterday that I would tell him if I was worried, but that I can't deal with his terror face everytime I say something. He was just as bad when I said I had no symptoms so no win there unfortunately. The scan will definitely give him leave of mind...so long as its all ok.
@TheBirdintheCave it could be that your body geared up for it but didn't and it'll come later in your cycle? Especially if you've been unwell it can knock it all out of sync. xx

@FfayeN does being unwell mess up cycles? That could explain why I'm about to O so late in my cycle which is so unheard of for me. I conceived DD from a late cycle so hoping this is a good sign (not that I believe in signs 😂) yeh I would be miffed if DH kept doing that to me. I would defo have lost it with mine if he kept doing that to me! When's you scan? Mines the opposite - he forgets half the time what's going on so have to remind him 🤦‍♀️

@bunnykins123 my cycles were so flippant anything would change the day I ovulated! However if you've been stressed, run down, immunity low it can all impact your hormones and therefore cycles and ovulation.
It's not until the 21st Nov, I'm hoping to bring it forward to the 18th so it's the day before my bloods and history appointment but part of me also wants to delay it as much as possible x

@Indianna2006 yep totally get what u mean. Have u any other scans booked in or now waiting for the 20 week scan? X

Ok nvm everything I said earlier 😂 I'm in a huge amount of pain this evening so can confirm that O had now occurred. Irritatingly we didn't dtd last night but eh. Maybe the cup has helped regardless.

After saying I would not be doing OPKs got a flood of EWCM this morning tested when I got home from work and it's hit 1.15...not letting the group name down @FfayeN

@Indianna2006 sorry you had a crap experience but on the plus side at least she's not on delivery suite

Oh and DH has developed man flu 😷

@MrsCristianoX why is it when you need them to be fit and healthy they come down with man flu?! Looks like we are cycle buddies - had my peak yesterday so assume I ovulated over night.

@TheBirdintheCave did you give it an attempt last night? I had pains over night too so assume I have now o'd but haven't had much of a temp increase this morning. I have the fertilily another go last night but not sure there was much point as it was probably too late booo.

@bunnykins123 we did it anyway and my pain had started too. Very proud of my seductive skills here 😂🙌

@bunnykins123 im gonna say 0-1, 0-3 0.-5 for me depending on what the OPK says today. I can guarantee I have been using the cup wrong (it comes out about an inch) but sure was worth a shot, even for the hilarity of the boiling process 😅

@bunnykins123 Yeah we dtd around 7pm before the pains got really bad and then I had the Ferti-lily in for about half an hour. I doubt those swimmers will make it but I figured it was worth a shot.

@MrsCristianoX I have loads of tail sticking out even though the cup is definitely up as far as it can go.

Are we all approx 1dpo now then? That's cool if so :)

@TheBirdintheCave that's good! I defo pushed it in as far as I could but it was so slippery 🙈 anyway OPK today much lighter, no pain so 1dpo here too. We can get each other through this!

@MrsCristianoX @TheBirdintheCave I'm so glad I'm not the only one struggling to get it in! I put a bit of preseed on it and literally find it slides all over the place. I think I'm 1dpo now too, defo think last night was unsuccessful due to timing but hey ho. I probably have about an inch too but it seems to go up higher the longer I leave it 🤔 I slept with mine in last night...

Woo for all being 1DPO together! That’s good 2ww alongside each other. Ha yes the fertilily does slip about a lot. But agreed does tend to rise up a bit as you leave it in. Almost gets suctioned up 🙈😂

@calimc83 I have now booked private scan for Sunday when I will be 17+1. So we will find out the gender then too. An just confirm it at 20 weeks. Just felt didn’t wanna wait in this just unknown without feeling movements. I’d of waited had she of done the Doppler 🙄

DH has said be nice to take DD along to private scan as can’t take them to nhs obv as she’s older and is very excited to be able to feel baby and keeps asking if she can listen for heartbeat. Altho explain yo her she won’t be able to hear that even further along through my womb 😂 bless her.

but part of me also freaks out about that. I mean I’d love her to see if all is well. What do you girls think? Tbh I’m freaked out anyway as she’s so excited about it. An just the thought of anything going wrong and then having to explain. Ugh. It’s just not worth thinking about. Something makes you so protective over your children.
but she knows about the baby anyway. So either way she’d have to know.

I really want to do it together as be rly special. Maybe I can ask them I go in and they check etc then DH and DD can come in etc? Do you think that’s reasonable.

honeslty. I thought this anxiety would be getting better. Think I’m getting worse the further along I get. An the more ppl can tell you’ve got a bump and now. It all becomes very real and public 😩🙈

@Indianna2006 that's sounds like a lovely idea..defo go in first. So much better for DD to see and you to get reassurance and not some old crone of a midwife making it feel unimportant ❤️

My lines are still high not peak and less than control is that normal for day after ov? You would think I would know this by know. Pain started last night about half 9 and was gone about midnight (and this is the reason I hate OPKs 🙄) xx

@Indianna2006 oh that's SUCH a lovely idea 💕 I would have never thought to take DD to a private scan but if I ever do get to where you are, I defo think I would follow suit. Could it be that you leave DH and DD in the waiting room whilst you have a quick scan and then ask the sonographer to call them in if all is well (which it will be!). I totally understand the fear, I don't think it ever completely goes but I guess trust your gut and try to enjoy those moments. DD will always remember the day she saw her sibling on the scan before they (she?) was born.

@MrsCristianoX sometimes I never get a true peak. I used CB alongside easy@home but I drink quite a lot of water so testing throughout the day is quite hard as it's diluted. If I get a peak off CB and get a near peak with the opks I tend to just trust that. Also I think pains are pretty indicative of O happening too. What are your pains like? Is it one sided? Mine yesterday were same strength as the control line and today it's dark but not as dark as control.

@bunnykins123 thanks for replying..yea one sided last night which led to cramping for a half hr then vanished. Pretty sure I've ovulated. Ignore my meltdown 😅

And now I've had EWCM all day 🤦🏻‍♀️ What are you doing body?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can't imagine it's not happened after the intensity of last night. Guess all I can do is keep dtd until the EW goes away.

So annoying.

@Indianna2006 oh wow 17 weeks already! How exciting..yeah I think that's a really good idea. I think we might do the same and have a 3d scan a little later down the line. We finally told my parents this weekend - no hiding the bump now! 😂 xx

@Indianna2006 I also think it's totally reasonable to go in first just to check all is ok ( which it will be). I will do the same further down the line xx

I'm also feeling soooo positive about you girls who are all in the 2WW's. There's going to be BFPs coming. I can feel it 😍 xx

Anyone tried acupuncture to prevent m/c? Wondering whether to continue or not as had a bit of a scare last time when my body temp clearly rose too much during and that's not good. Will see how I feel next week but might cancel!
