I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

So it's day 2 most of today I'm getting a weird feeling in my left ovary hard to explain like it's going to pop , could this mean I have ovulated today ,iv already had intercourse today so going to wait untill tomorrow untill hubby builds up again just to try for the best chance I have only one mature 20mm folicle does any one have any experience, I'd really love to hear your stories xxxxxx

@Dachshund1 you didn’t come across rude at all I’m so sorry to hear that you started with a bleed today, could it be implant bleeding ?

@Melpainter i don’t even officially have an appointment yet…..so might not be going and go Thursday instead! She was trying to book me for 10:30 tomorrow as the patient that is booked at that time was keeping it in case she needed it, the doctor doesn’t think she does but they can’t get hold of the patient to say if she does or not. So if they can’t get hold of her they can’t give the appointment away….if not tomorrow I think they can squeeze me in at 11 on Thursday which is a really awkward time for me but will have to just make it work! How about you?xx

that sounds frustrating! I am a little excited because I just did a clearblue fertility test and I got a flashy smiley face… my protocol (not theirs) may have done the job! Fingers crossed 🤞 xx

Fingers crossed for your one 🤞 they said my follicle is now 14mm on the left side they going to call me later to see if I keep going or just go straight for the trigger I didn’t tell them I’ve been upping my dose! She just said to me that’s the beauty of ovaleap it’s very effective! Yer if you give us the right dosage! x

That’s good! Have you heard from them yet? Yeah no point telling them but shows it worked! I think the nurse I saw on Monday didn’t check properly, a different one had grown to 17.5 so she said to do an extra gonal f injection this afternoon then trigger it tonight! That was progress I didn’t see coming and clearly it was bigger than 9mm on Monday xx

So they called me and said carry on with injections and go back Friday for scan to hopefully trigger on Saturday, they also gave me two ovulation kits and said do them tomorrow if they are positive I have to call them, I said my clearblue one has flashing smiley face but she wasn’t interested in that lol x

@Melpainter thank you, I can only assume the Monday nurse didn’t check properly! Why wouldn’t they listen about your clear blue one? That’s annoying! Are you going to do 2 more high doses?xx

Yer I have enough for tomorrow so will keep going on my own protocol until Friday
I pray they say I can trigger on Saturday as much as I get frustrated with the tww I can’t actually wait to be in the tww, strange mind lol.

Thank you I will, I’ve been thinking about your situation and I’d be raging if they missed my ovulation because of an inexperienced sonographer especially by how much they charge per protocol I’m so relieved for you that they didn’t miss it! Excited to symptom check with you too! Did you inject last night? I ovulated exactly 36 hours after my last trigger I felt every little niggle. The nurse told me to use second morning wee on their tests (onestep test) cheap ones from Amazon strange cause they usually says fmu for tests x

Morning, how are you both?
I’ve had my scan this morning and I’ve got a big fat juicy follicle of 18.2mm a thick lining and a positive ovulation test so they said I won’t need to trigger because I will do it by myself apparently…I did mention that in one of my cycles I had a 17mm follicle and it never ruptured so are they sure I will defo ovulate on my own ..? But she said you wouldn’t have a positive ovulation test if you weren’t about to rupture. So here’s hoping fingers crossed it happens either today or tomorrow. So can start tww with you @Alexis7890. how are you feeling? xxx

@Melpainter hey it was my works Christmas party yesterday so that was a busy tiring day! Our party starts in the morning so home by 6. Ooh that’s a great size follicle!! How do they know it will rupture by itself? Could they not give you a trigger anyway to be sure? I did the trigger Wednesday night I haven’t felt anything I don’t think but I don’t really know what I would feel! 2ww starts today for me and hopefully you will be in it to!!xxx

@Alexis7890 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I have just triggered, the clinic called me this afternoon and said the dr suggests that i do actually trigger and have lots of sex! I used gonassi 5000 this month it stung going in but small price to pay for actual ovulation and to be in for a chance this month 🤞
are you going to test the trigger shot out of your system? I did last month and it stayed for 8 days the nurse said don’t test until 1/01/23 and then call them on 3rd with an update they did say that if I do get pregnant they do regular scans up to 7 weeks before discharging back to GP at no additional cost I thought this was good. They still don’t know I upped my dose but I know if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be in for a chance this month cause also the clinic closes over Xmas.
we had our works do last Friday it was just a civilised dinner gone are the years where I’d be pulling an all nighter lol xxx

also when I ovulated last month after the trigger I felt niggling, pulling sort of pressure it didn’t last long at all about 10 mins and then it was over x

Ooh im glad they said to trigger and not just wait for your body to do it. Have you got to take anything else or is that it for you? That’s exciting and you’ve got a busy weekend now haha!! I could easily become obsessive so for me I won’t do any tests until 30/12 are you going to test? No point telling them now, hopefully you won’t need to do the injections again for another cycle!! Also nice we can enjoy Christmas without having to inject and can try to relax and just enjoy Christmas and all the food and time off!xxx

I will do the same as you and not touch a test until the 1st cause last month when I started writing on here I was driving myself crazy, I did the injection and that was it I put everything away packed up the ov kits, stored away the sharps bins and felt like a weight off my shoulders cause your right it is actually quite stressful it’s only until your done that you realise the toll it takes on your every day.

Hey I know time is sloooow, how was your weekend? I was suppose to ovulate yesterday it I didn’t feel anything I felt more on Saturday but we didn’t manage to dtd until early hours Sunday so I’m hoping the impril supplements has doubled the swimmers
I also had a dream that I had a scan and they said I had two healthy sacs omg is that a premonition lol

@Melpainter the weekend was good thanks, and only 1 more day of work for me, are you having much time off for Christmas?do you normally feel ovulation? Lots of people including me never feel anything! Still have a great chance!! Take all the premonitions you can get, I joked with my husband about having twins I would love it he would not haha. Umm that’s a bit complicated, in a way since October 2021 after we got married but I never had any natural cycles so knew it wasn’t going to happen naturally but still had that glimmer of hope for a miracle so have been with the fertility clinic since feb when we had all the tests etc and done a few rounds of letrozole which just didn’t work for me. How about you?xx

Hopefully the injections will be it for you now, we’ve tried for two years but this is the first time we have used injections and this month is the first month iv had a large follicle to boost ovulation last month it was 14mm on the Friday and then I continued taking clomid til Monday and took trigger on Tuesday but I didn’t get pregnant I feel that was because maybe the egg wasn’t developed so we moved to care fertility this month and I’m hopeful this round has worked although i triggered on day 19 hopefully that’s not too late and the egg will be good. The months before that I never ovulated on stims and had to take progesterone to bleed
I finish work on Thursday feeling really festive this year still have some Xmas shopping to do how about you? What day will you do a test? I buckled and got cheap multi pack from Amazon to test the trigger out of me.. I saw I had a digital and was curious how many weeks a trigger would come out at and it was 1-2 weeks I took gonassi 5000 what was your trigger xxx

Hi hope you are both keeping well , I'm good not on medications injections of anything at the moment I feel like I'm back to my old self if makes self been on injections for over a year, I didn't get pregnant this thim at you both no my period came was gutted but this month wer Gona try with out medications and also next month then back on them Jan or February time hope you both have a fantastic Christmas and hopefully a little bit of baby news ❤️ xxxxxxxxx

@Melpainter hopefully this will be your month! It’s a long hard journey isn’t it. Unfortunately without fertility treatment we would never be able to have a baby so have to keep going until it happens! I have finished all of my shopping and counting down to when I finish today at 1:30! I am going to try to wait until 30/12 to test but we’ll see if I get there! I used ovitrelle to trigger, no idea what it would say on a test! Are you going to test all the way through now?
