I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

So it's day 2 most of today I'm getting a weird feeling in my left ovary hard to explain like it's going to pop , could this mean I have ovulated today ,iv already had intercourse today so going to wait untill tomorrow untill hubby builds up again just to try for the best chance I have only one mature 20mm folicle does any one have any experience, I'd really love to hear your stories xxxxxx

Hey injections are really good altho this month there not working as fast as I'd like , slow and steady was at scan today and my one folicle is 14mm so have untill Monday to hopefully nurse said fingers crossed it responds it's not really wanting to grow xxxxx

Will they increase your injection Dose from now till then? I’m going on menapur 75MU for 7 days I think, then scan on day 9 the. Hopefully trigger shot and a positive in time for Xmas but that would all be too easy wouldn’t it 🤦‍♀️😊
will you continue on injections for next cycle? Or try another treatment plan? This will be first time on menapur they tried to get me on letrazole first but I refused I know my body and if it’s jot responding to clomid then I’d rather they not take more of our money to get the same outcome with letrazole it was quite challenging to get them to change the treatment plan but she did in the end x

No they didn't increase my dose still 25 gonal untill Monday my little folicle just doesn't want to grow for 4 mm to grow atleast so can trigger , I no it would be lovely to conceive before Christmas wouldn't it it's just madness out body's cycles are different every single month, I'm actually not going to try for a month if I can't trigger this month as I'm feeling the effects of being on gonal f for over a year only ever triggered once so I'm really unsure at the moment hope your keeping well and let me no how Ur treatment goes 🤞fingers crossed for both of us ,lots of baby dust xxxxx

I was on 75ml but was to hight took a while to get the right dose I'm on 25 now at the min because I usually react and overstim every month but this month the gonal isn't doing wot it's supose to I don't no why the 25 got me a 20 mm folicle last month that was my first time triggering for over a year , progesterone is all good so I'm not sure wots going on xxxxx

I have untill Monday nurse said hopefully 4 mm more fingers crossed it will grow so can trigger it's 14mm at the min just the one folicle so I hope it wants to grow if not I'm taking a wee break as I'm notice migraines very severe and my hair is thining I thing because a year of stimulation couldn't be good my body needs a wee break xxxxxxx

Hi ladies I hope you don’t mind me jumping on your thread but I am due to start gonal f injections in the next week or so whenever my period comes, have been on provera for a few days so hopefully it’ll come soon. I have been on letrozole for 4 months and not responded to it so moving on to injections now. Any advice/tips or info about side effects much appreciated!! Wishing you both so much luck x

The gonal I'd easy so don't worry about it I'd love to try clomid everyone's body's are different mine just seems to not wanna even try this month fingers crossed xxxxxx

Have you tried clomid or letrozole before? I have pcos and don’t ovulate naturally so they hoped I would respond to letrozole but only ovulated once in 4 months on it and the other 3 I didn’t respond at all so decided to move on to injections and hopefully ovulate with those! They said to start with 50 of gonal f and see how it goes. You never know this month it might surprise you! I keep trying to feel Christmassy as usually it is my favourite time of year but not feeling it this year with this baby journey x

I ovulated once on clomid too and then nothing hence why I pushed not to have the letrazole cycle i had a strong feeling it would have been a waste of money.
going to take a new approach this cycle, ditch the ovulation tests and pregnancy tests stay healthy with supplements and lots of swimming and to make the most of this Xmas because I am living in the hope that this will be our last as a family of 3. Watch I’ll be sending pics of ovulation tests next week 🤣

Alexis7890 has AF shown up yet? Mine is really heavy atm and I start menapur injections tomorrow every other day until they tell me to stop I have scan on 7th Dec and 9th I didn’t respond to clomid so am happy to be on injectables now it would be good to know how your getting on x

Hey @Melpainter nope nothing yet, finished the second try with provera on Friday so hoping maybe tomorrow! I have never not responded to provera before so it’s all very strange! That’s exciting for you to get to start them and hopefully respond, whenever my period does come I start them on day 2 so hopefully will be similar timing to you! Let me know how you get on and if there are any side effects, hope it works for you!!xx

Hey, I injected first dose today 🥳 I’m so excited about this cycle, they said to do it every other day but I’ve read other peoples posts with similar cycle issues with clomid as mine saying they didn’t respond to 75iu menopur and my clinic want me to do it every other day….I feel like doing it every day!!! 😅 I know they like to go low and slow to start but money isn’t growing on our tree outside so I may just take the initiative!
the injection didn’t hurt at all and no stinging which I’ve read from others has been a side effect, I hope I done it right 🤣!

When I do start injections it’s 50 but every day. Did they explain anything about why every other day? When will they see you for the first scan? Ah that’s great it didn’t sting or anything! I feel okay I just want
to be able to get started, I have never not responded to provera before so I’m getting increasingly annoyed it isn’t working this time, just hope the next couple of days it actually works for me

I understand how you feel as soon as your start bleeding you feel a surge of energy like right this is it time to get going on this cycle. Sounds silly but have you done a pregnancy test..? What does the clinic say? I remember years ago I went on one of those vibro gym plates and my period started days later after like a year! 😂 maybe jump about lol see if that gets things moving.
tbh my clinic has given me very little support and information I called to book the scans and bloods but the nurse was like don’t worry about the bloods it’s not necessary (then why put it on my protocol) one nurse said do my own ovulation testing the last nurse I spoke to said don’t bother 🤷‍♀️ None of which could tell me why I’m injecting every other day? I have my scan for next Wednesday I really hope they say I can trigger that day x

I had an ultrasound last week with my consultant and if I was pregnant he would have been able to tell as when I was told letrozole wasn’t working on the last cycle sex kind of stopped as well, nothing kills a sex life like fertility treatment!! Clinic haven’t said much other than try more pills. Aww no that’s rubbish they aren’t helpful, are you nhs or private? Do you have a doctor or just the nurses?

Hi sorry I was missing there for a while , wasn't feeling up to messaging tbh , I had a scan on Monday my folicle was 16mm had another today and it's shrunk to 15mm I have to continue gonal f and to be honest I really just feel up to it this month ,is it possible to shrink I'm so confused I have to go back on Friday for another scan this feels litterly the longest time Iv been stimulating a folicle it's just won't budge and the tiredness is just anouing me so much this month xxxxxx

Aww no! I had follicles shrink on letrozole. Hopefully you can get it to grow again!! How long have you be stimulating this one? Hope Friday is better for you x

Sending you a big hug! This follicle sounds stubborn, anything been said about you increasing your dose of gonal F until Friday? I’ve read that some women have triggered on 15mm it’s a little small but not out of the question they triggered me last month on 17mm cause it stopped growing ok it didn’t work but at least we got to try..
i spoke to my old clinic today about my new clinics protocol and they said there would be no harm in injecting the menopur every day as it’s a very low dose, so I just did it no pain or stinging.
mines a private clinic we didn’t qualify for NHS I’m still raging about who qualifies and who doesn’t who are they to dictate who should be lucky enough to have a child and who isn’t, we all pay the same taxes! 😡😤 rant over with I think the menopur is giving me some anger issues 🤣

Yes I no I'm taking the gonal small dose every day , I just can't get my head around being 16mm on Monday and on Wednesday today it's went down a 1mm oh I think I'm feeling same as u I'm in 25 everyday and higher dose seems to strong IV to wait on blood test coming tomorrow xxxxxxx
