I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

So it's day 2 most of today I'm getting a weird feeling in my left ovary hard to explain like it's going to pop , could this mean I have ovulated today ,iv already had intercourse today so going to wait untill tomorrow untill hubby builds up again just to try for the best chance I have only one mature 20mm folicle does any one have any experience, I'd really love to hear your stories xxxxxx

Hey lady's oh your on day 4 that's good how u feeling wot ml are u taking , I'm actually moved onto the trigger shot although I'm not sure why I'm taking ovetrelle trigger shot 60mg on Thursday then another 60mg on Saturday and I have one last one today at around half 2 I'm doing timed intercourse has anyone ever heard of this method??? I usually just take the full trigger shot I'm confused lol and I can not find anything on the internet xxxxxxxx

I am on 50iu but I think when I see the dr tomorrow he will increase it but he wanted to start as low as possible. Oh I have never heard of a trigger over so long! They must have their reasons for doing it and how it works xx

maybe it’s for when follicles get smaller? I’ve never heard of that? I’m almost out of my menopur got enough for one more injection tomorrow, then I get a scan on Wednesday to see if I have any follicles I’m worried they will charge me another £200 for more menopur x

I just can't find any thing about small shots of trigger every couple of days it's so confusing, oh 50iu is good I was on 25iu oh I no it madness the prices that can charged xxxx

Did 25 work? How many days did you inject before being able to trigger?

IV been on the 25iu for over 2 weeks wer going slow and steady thi time instead of I always over stim I had appointment nearly every 2 days it's just this ovetrelle shot last 60mg today I took so I'm now in 2 week wait from today xxxxx

I hope this 2ww goes fast for you and you get your BFP! Did they give you enough meds to get you through the two weeks or did they charge you for extra? I’m just worried come Wednesday they will charge me again we’ll see.
I hope to be joining you in tww but feel they going to stretch this out

I am wishing both you lady's all the luck in the world's imagine melpainter thank you so much 13 days from today now ohhhh I'm on the ount down now I hope I didn't miss ovulation:( no no I ended up last week with a full 300pen of gonal it it was used once I really do not like seeing medication being waisted:( u know when u go for your scan ask every question don't let them stretch it out because , sure I let them stretch mine out this month and my folicle basicly ovualated in-between the 2 days that's I had scans that's why I'm confused because I don't think I tried hard enough awwhhh ok so Wednesday that's not to :) u could b on the 2ww sooner, imgaine just before Christmas, it would be a miracle xxxxx

Hey how are you both? I had my scan yesterday and have a 13mm follicle so going back Friday and they hope to give me the trigger to do over the weekend! I thought it would take longer as Friday will only be CD10 so will trigger around day 12 which seems like it has grown fast!

Oh that sounds good 🥰 pray u get trigger for weekend , on medicated cycles it's completely different I think ,I'm on cycle day 30 now and 3 days into the 2 week wait xxxxx🥰

I realised if I trigger when they said my tww would end on Xmas day! Ahh how are you feeling? Hope you are doing okay and the tww doesn’t drag too long for you!xx

Hey ladies @Alexis7890 you have responded really well to the injections congratulations
I had my first scan today cycle day 11 and a follicle measuring 11mm I broke the news that I was injecting every day and the nurse seemed shocked I’d done that without the drs instructions but told me to continue injections every day I had to pay another £288 for more menopur and I got emotional because I don’t get why it’s costs so much money! If they’d just given me a decent dose to start with I wouldn’t have to keep paying for more meds! Nurse said she’d expect to see a follicle slightly bigger than 11mm but I’m to go back on Friday to see if it’s grown anymore. I’m not feeling happy about this cycle already spent over £1k and worried they will tell me to ditch this cycle so next cycle I can take a higher dose but I don’t have another grand to play their games! 😪😪😪

@Melpainter it really took me by surprise as I’m used to letrozole monitoring and being repeatedly told no sorry it’s not working so I was very shocked! Have they said to carry on with the same dose? I don’t know how it works but if they think it isn’t growing properly or fast enough don’t they increase it? Everything crossed for Friday for you that it has grown!!xx

Hey @Alexis7890 the clinic has just called and said the dr would like me to increase to 150!! NOW WE ARE TALKING !! I said when would you expect for me to trigger she said if the increase works then hopefully Friday 🤞🤞🤞🤞park for me 🙏 we could all be testing at the same time maybe Christmas miracles alL round 🥲 I’m so emotional must be the hormones lol xxx

Ahh @Melpainter thats fab!! Eeek we both find out Friday and maybe trigger then as well!! It’s so good we are all around the same stage and times!! I feel like I’m getting a cold so I’m hoping that doesn’t throw anything off xx

Girls it is expensive, I'm glad IV no more to pay for this month my savings have went down dramatically aswell but I don't think IV conceived this month because to the way they missed my ovulation and administered my ovetrelle in 60mg doses I'm 4 days into 2 week wait I will definitely pray and hope we get our little miracles ❤️❤️

2WW goes so slowly! I’ve just done my second 150 menopur shot and it’s stung a tad this time do you know if it’s ok to inject on the same side of the tummy or if I should be alternating my left side is starting to get sore lol x

@Melpainter i don’t know, they said alternate but now I know my biggest follicle is on the left I keep doing it more on the left but I don’t know if it makes any difference! This is probably the most I have ever rested when I’ve had a cold to try to get over it as quickly as possible to be better by tomorrow for the trigger over the weekend! Have either of you been given pessaries for after the trigger?

I did last cycle they havnt said anything about this cycle
on way for scan I’m going to predict the results I bet it’s now 14mm and they tell me to keep injecting until scan Monday x

Hi lady's no I haven't ever been giving progesterone prezzies how are u girls getting on now I haven't been as active as I'd like to think geting a wee cold , u no after trigger shot last cycle my day 5 after trigger was barely visible this time its quite strong on day 5 past trigger ,

Was it the same trigger dose? Just had scan no follicles have grown but my lining has thickened they want me to buy more drugs… devastated 😪

Hi ladies just back from my scan, only grown from 13 to 15mm so got to keep on injecting and go back Monday and hope to trigger then. Wondering if it all slowed down as I got this cold.

@Melpainter have you got to keep injecting and go back in a few days?

Melpainter on 60 micrograms I'm nearly sure the same happened to me this month I wasn't growing , if your lining has thickened wot kinda of drugs are they going to priscribe you ? have they said anything ? Sometimes slow and steady as clinic only want only so many folicles maybe they never have u the right doesage of stimulation? Alexis that's great keep injecting seems to be growing at a nice steady pace xxxxx every cycle is different melpainter honestly same has happened to me this month don't loose hope xxxxxxx
