@Fuckallthetories thank you and congratulations 🎉 ♥️♥️♥️

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 11:12

@Bubblesandballoons ahh that’s really good to know, thank you for sharing ♥️ I completely agree actually my first two were more normal and the second two have been much weirder!

The mira is good in terms of specifics and I think (hope) that when I take it to the doctors it will help demonstrate what I’ve been feeling is going on. In all honesty the month that I used it I felt really bad anxiety and got really hung up on every single number, because it was saying my estrogen and progesterone levels were low. It did help me feel slightly more in control though. I think that if the numbers were good it would’ve been really reassuring and it did give really precise info! i used it alongside the clear blue smiley face tests and they picked up the LH rise was due before any changes were shown on the mira which I thought was interesting!

I’ve also tried the Ava bracelet, but wouldn’t personally recommend it ♥️

ChloeN · 26/10/2022 11:15

@Fuckallthetories lovely news congratulations❤️

After no blood yesterday I had some more spotting this morning like AF is coming so that’s me out this cycle!😢 this is the worst I’ve felt in ages, nearly cancelled all my clients today because I just don’t want to talk to anyone but I’ve made myself carry on and do feel a bit better! @mummatara im buying the bankrupting vitamins this month lol🤣

Bubblesandballoons · 26/10/2022 13:46

@Babydustmamma thats interesting about the clear blue picking it up first. I’ve had a few cycles off using them, but bought one for this cycle. Definitely will keep the Mira in mind if no luck after the nhs tests.
@ChloeN sorry it looks like af is here. It’s so hard post miscarriage to navigate your feelings. Glad your feeling a bit better after going to work x

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 13:56

@ChloeN so sorry lovely 🌻 completely agree! Have just started mine and there’s nothing like it, no words just demoralising and deflating ♥️ Holding space for you xxx

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 13:57

@Bubblesandballoons i was tempted to just use the clear blue this month so that I didn’t get too in my head about the specifics to be fair!♥️

does anyone have any tips for raising estrogen naturally?

RaliaMusca · 26/10/2022 14:30

@Babydustmamma you could look into seed cycling to regulate hormones. Soya contains phytoestrogens that can help.
Also make sure you take a vitamin D supplement and ideally B vitamins as well as they are involved in oestrogen synthesis.
You could also look into herbal remedies but as they can be quite powerful, I'd ask a qualified herbalist for advice. They'd also look into contraindications with any medications you're taking, which is super important.

ChloeN · 26/10/2022 14:42

@Babydustmamma @Bubblesandballoons thanks ladies💕 think start of AF is always such a shit day, hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow xx

mummatara · 26/10/2022 16:32

@ChloeN oh rubbish ☹️ please join me in the vitamin bankruptcy 😂 let me know if you want links for anything. I've used the ones she recommends on her supplement list didn't want to stray incase I bought something rubbish 😂 I'm having wicked cramps today 😳 maybe I'm joining you with AF 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔

@Fuckallthetories congrats 🥳

ChickenT2b · 26/10/2022 16:49

Hello again ladies. I hope everyone is ok and the pregnancies in here are progressing well? It’s useless to try and keep up with you lot 😃 plus I try to keep my mind a bit clearer when I’m out of the fertile zone. Emphasis on try!

Is anyone else around cycle 6 post miscarriage? Googling and self diagnosing every single infertility problem under the sun to prove they will never get pregnant again? 🙌🏻

Just had a cry at the lovely BFP videos and posts that appear, unrequested, in my Instagram search. Sigh.

And yes, I’m rattling around with you all, spent a further £90 on vitamins today 🤦🏼‍♀️

Also @TheBirdintheCave its a bit of a late response but 100% with you on those that come in just to share their obvious BFP. This is why I left the general TTC group, especially when they’ve been TTC for like 30 days 🙈. BFPs in this group provide more hope though 🤞🏼

ChickenT2b · 26/10/2022 16:55

@Babydustmamma sorry about your mc. Mine was in March this year and still trying.
Do you recommend the Mira? The cost puts me off but I think I do get a little anxious about testing too and especially if I do it at the wrong time and then second guess if it’s even correct.

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 17:45

@mummatara yes please to the links! I’m a sucker for a good vitamin list… at this point I think I’m rattling around already 😂

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 17:51

@ChickenT2b awwwh lovely have just seen your comment above and I am sending love ♥️ There’s just no feeling like it is there, you’re trapped in this cycle of waiting and waiting each month. Have your cycles returned to normal since your loss? ♥️

the Mira is really good for providing brutally honest info - but it’s a bit of a Pandora’s box because you can just go down a rabbit hole of testing testing testing. It’s really precise and sensitive, so that’s a plus - but I found that because my levels weren’t where I wished they were my anxiety spiked so hard that I wonder if it had a knock effect. I do think that more info is a great tool and if you’re getting healthy levels of LH, estrogen and progesterone that would be really reassuring. I’m going to use it again this month and I can feedback ♥️ I’d say if you are tempted make sure you use a discount because they’ve usually got a 15% off or something and that atleast a takes it down a little ♥️

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 17:54

@ChickenT2b these were the results from my estrogen and progesterone during the past cycle - which was really handy to know but also waaaay lower than the ‘average user’ 😅…. So it’s kind of blunt and might lead to more spiralling, depends if more info helps you cope I guess!♥️

11dpo-13dpo in order. Does my bottom test look lighter? I have SUCH bad anxiety. I wish I never knew about test lines being darker and progression. Two losses and I’m really anxious about this pregnancy 😞😢

@mummatara thanks lovely, I think I’ve saved the links on my Amazon I’ll double check I did, might need to ask again🤣 would you be okay with AF coming so it’s a fresh start? Xxx

ROZRAX · 26/10/2022 19:03

Lots to catch up on!!

@Babydustmamma with your progesterone and estrogen readings being “lower” has that led to you getting any treatment to help? Would the GP rely on those or order own tests to confirm? Thanks

ROZRAX · 26/10/2022 19:05

@ChickenT2b i hear you with the Instagram reels. I’ve never searched for BFP videos yet there they are! But often in German 😂

MrsCristianoX · 26/10/2022 19:08

@bubble55 a little? Is that the 11dpo one? They are all great lines x

Babydustmamma · 26/10/2022 19:11

@ROZRAX ive only used Mira for a month, so I can’t say it would be enough for the GP to take it seriously unfortunately but I think it helps them understand how you’ve reached the concern and validates why you’re seeking help.

also @ChickenT2b you’re so right! I find social media so triggering. There should be a section where you filter out key words that may be upsetting. Being bombarded with gender reveals etc when you’re ttc, especially after loss is just 🫠

Aprilsunnyday · 26/10/2022 19:17

@Babydustmamma thanks for sharing the screen shots on Mira, I took a look after your mentioned about it! It's nice you find it very helpful!!

Whats the con about Ava thats not helping you? :) I was planning to order one the other day on impulse! (we try everything don't we lol😂)

I have got neccesary vitamins and bought 10 acupuncture sessions. I think I need to do more exercise but struggle to find time. Maybe I should try harder!!

ROZRAX · 26/10/2022 19:35

@Babydustmamma Thank You.

Has anyone ever done an at home fertility blood test/check. I’m down a rabbit whole looking at those and wonder if it would be quicker rather than joining a very long NHS queue and rather a first step rather than paying for full fertility check privately

bubble55 · 26/10/2022 19:39

@MrsCristianoX no that’s today. I’m worried it’s not got any darker than the first one I took on Monday, but they are all dark. The past two losses my tests got lighter and I’m paranoid it’s happening again. It’s so unsettling.

MrsCristianoX · 26/10/2022 19:46

@bubble55 don't worry lovely. I've been on this board for way too long and pregnancy tests in the early days aren't a good way to assess. I know it's all we have but the line still looks really good. I'd try and hold off for a couple days xx (easier said than done I know)

FfayeN · 26/10/2022 19:46

@bubble55 the last one looks like a different batch of tests, as in the lines are a different thickness. They are VERY good lines though for 11-13dpo ☺️. Are you planning on doing anymore? Perhaps wait a couple of days then you'll have a good comparison? If you can 😬 xx
