@ChloeN the only research I can find linking taking progesterone to any sort of issues with specifically boys is that there can be a higher risk of hypospadias. I’m guessing that’s what the consultant was referring to, she didn’t specify 🤷🏻‍♀️

bunnykins123 · 21/11/2022 20:16

@FfayeN I have been prescribed cyclogest from the RMC to be taken from 3dpo. I have boxes of the stuff but won't take it unless I get a bfp as read it can hinder implantation. That being said, there is no way a RMC would prescribe it if there was any potential issue to the baby!

FfayeN · 21/11/2022 20:36

@bunnykins123 mine was as soon as I had a positive test, it is strange how they're all different! I guess the middle ground could be taking it from 9/10dpo, hopefully after implantation? But as you say they know what they're talking about xx

Morning ladies! I'm a week on from a MMC and medical management. Just wondering when I should expect my period to come back? Sorry to sound so clueless, this is all new to me

@TrulyMiss sorry for your loss ❤️ mine came back 5 weeks after surgical management

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 10:38

@TrulyMiss mine was 26 days from when the bleeding first started xxx

Babydustmamma · 22/11/2022 10:40

@FfayeN there are no words ♥️ So sorry to read your update. It’s no constellation but we’re here whenever you need to vent/chat/talk etc

@TrulyMiss mine was 36 days after ♥️

Lialii · 22/11/2022 11:24

@TrulyMiss My medical management (which took several rounds) didn't clear everything out... finally after going back several times and almost 7 weeks I had a D&C (still testing very faintly positive). I ovulated the day after the D&C according to OPKs and had my period 2 weeks later.

(I get very angry thinking about this, because I had requested and was denied a D&C from the very beginning. Medical management sucks imo even when it works.)

TrulyMiss · 22/11/2022 16:48

Thanks all, it's very useful to know roughly what to expect. We're still trying to decide what is the right next move for us - if we want to try again I have to go back on fertility drugs which are tough going for me. We also have a lovely DS who is going to turn 2 on Friday so maybe we're just meant to be a family of 3... so hard to know!

mummatara · 22/11/2022 20:03

Hey ladies how is everyone?

@ChloeN how you feeling lovely? Any symptoms?

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 20:16

@mummatara hey lovely, just on and off cramps and sore boobs and nips lol🤣 I’m 12/13dpo so still really early days! How are you, what’s your test looking like now? Xx

mummatara · 22/11/2022 20:36

@ChloeN oooh the sore boob hell 😭 ah I was going to ask I couldn't remember what dpo you were! Do you think you'll go for a early scan? So my tests have taken a bit of a unexpected turn after a negative test on Friday they started getting darker again 🤷🏼‍♀️ went to the hosp for a blood test today need to ring in about 30 mins for the result and I'm feeling nervous 🙊 even though only one blood test won't technically tell me anything it also might because I had a private blood test 13 days ago which was a hcg level of 114. These were Friday, Sunday and todays tests

@TrulyMiss Sorry for your loss :( Happy birthday to your toddler! My son is two on Thursday :)

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 20:58

@mummatara id told myself I wouldn’t even test till Thursday morning lol🤣 I’m honestly not sure, I might just see how I feel over the next couple of weeks, if I do go it’d be sometime after 8 weeks but the whole thing was so awful last time I’m really put off😩
omg the difference in the top and bottom test!!😦 that surely can’t just be lingering hcg?? Let me know what your result is!! Xxx

mummatara · 22/11/2022 21:15

@ChloeN it's hard isn't it at one point after my last scan and I was in limbo for 10 days I was like I'm never having a early scan again but in all honestly I totally would. I've just got off the phone with EPU my test tonight was 90 I really don't know what to think on it it could be either way at this point but I cant see how Fridays or even Sundays test was near the 90 mark unless they were bad tests but I was getting really faint/squinter lines all last week

bunnykins123 · 22/11/2022 21:22

@mummatara do you have pics of the tests from last week?

mummatara · 22/11/2022 21:24

@bunnykins123 I might have a few I'll go see. I chucked the tests when I got the negative on Friday 🤦🏼‍♀️

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 21:24

@mummatara isnt 90 quite a good level where you’d get a strong line on all tests?? That makes no sense!!

mummatara · 22/11/2022 21:35

@ChloeN I think the IC don't show up as strong lines until you get into several hundreds. These are my frer from Sunday to today not a massive difference but a little one.I honestly feel more confused but I'll get my answers on Thursday hopefully 🤞🏼
