@FfayeN thank you for your long message x
So your scan will be when just over 9 wks pregnant - I think that is a very good time! You will be able to see everything clearly + based on statistics I've seen, if you see a clear heartbeat at that stage, the risk of anything happening after is very low 🙏
I called EPU to ask for progesterone after +ve test, they said they usually give it after three losses but not two and that's when they offered to book me in for a 7 week scan. I said yes but was a bit skeptical as ovulated late in the cycle and was not sure there would be much to see, which is why I contacted them later and asked if it would be okay to delay the scan to 8+ weeks - they agreed. When my mind is at peace, early scan seems like an amazing idea to see what is happening. Also, DH did not see the heartbeat before so I would really want for him to see it. I would imagine he would be quite emotional.

@Cindy974 tentative congrats
@lovenaps sorry your dh isn’t being that understanding. Hopefully he’ll get better as time goes on 🤞🏻.

I’ve had my peak last night a few days earlier than normal, so will dtd for a few more days so hopefully we are covered then onto the dreaded tww. Not sure if I’m meant to be trying or not this cycle as I still haven’t had my bloods done, but we decided not to waste another cycle and risk it. Going to chase bloods on Monday as I’ve heard nothing and if I do them next week I won’t be pregnant by then anyways if I’m lucky enough to fall this cycle.

lovenaps · 04/11/2022 15:55

@Bubblesandballoons was that your bloods for anti-phospholipid syndrome?xx
I was told they very rarely come back positive and I guess you might manage to get your bloods done + receive results (fingers crossed!!!) before you test! Are you planning to test early?

I kind of feel bad bashing DH here as I love him to bits and he is usually amazing but I guess we all have our shortcomings sometimes. He can annoy me at times but I am not perfect either, far from!

lovenaps · 04/11/2022 16:01

@Cindy974 @HalWin2221 tentative congratulations ❤x How are you both feeling today?

FfayeN · 04/11/2022 16:09

@lovenaps don't feel bad we all have to vent sometimes and I'm sure we've all been there too. Yeah I'll be 9+2 🤞🏼.
I'm Glad epu were understanding and have you booked in for reassurance, I have everything crossed for you when the scan comes around xx

@lovenaps thank you 😊 im feeling okay but cant get excited not sure whether to start taking aspirin or not ugh i wish i had the answers! The epu have booked me in for a scan for when ill be 7 weeks! How are you lovely? X

Bubblesandballoons · 04/11/2022 19:22

@lovenaps well typically after sending the message on here I checked the post box and finally had a letter from the hosp. No mention of when I’ll get bloods, but it’s a write up of my appt in sept (written middle of oct and only just got it!) and says it’s those tests you mentioned and just normal hormone tests I need. Says to do them 6 weeks post miscarriage which is now, so will def chase Monday and prompt them. I’m going to try my hardest not to test until the day I’m due on, but we’ll see. Some months I test from 5dpo, some I manage to restrain myself to 9/10dpo 😂.
@FfayeN thanks, feeling it’s been a better cycle with more ewcm again, more back to normal for me after 6 months, so hopefully that’s a good sign 🤞🏻.

RainbowSearching · 05/11/2022 07:03

@Cindy974 I also have a scan for when I’ll be 7 weeks, fingers crossed for good outcomes for both of us 🤞🏻

Cindy974 · 05/11/2022 18:40

@RainbowSearching you too 🤞🏼 I hope so when is yours? X

RainbowSearching · 05/11/2022 21:50

@Cindy974 I’m the 22nd, what about you? Terrified already, dreading going for it!

Cindy974 · 06/11/2022 19:59

@RainbowSearching mines the 30th november already bricking it! Hope yours all goes okay 💕💕

lovenaps · 06/11/2022 21:34

@RainbowSearching @Cindy974 I bet you the time is going so slow as well..!

RainbowSearching · 07/11/2022 10:16

@lovenaps Trying to “forget” about being pregnant as much as possible, in the hope I can reduce my stressing as much as possible in the lead up to the scan. Let’s see if it works though…

I hope everything is going well with you?

ChickenT2b · 07/11/2022 14:49

Ladies that are pregnant..! How many cycles post mc did it take you?
I’m on cycle 6 now and feeling good about this month, ovulating today/tomorrow I reckon and lots of bd 💃🏻🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Also, anyone have any insight as to why trying twice in one day does not improve chances? Why would that be? It’s not like there’s a maximum amount of sperm that can enter 🤔

Everythingzrosie · 07/11/2022 14:49

👋Hi, back in the 2ww… 1dpo… 😂

ChickenT2b · 07/11/2022 14:52

@Everythingzrosie ooh we are almost aligned! Think I am ovulating today 😌

Everythingzrosie · 07/11/2022 14:53

@ChickenT2b yay! Good luck! I’m so scared 😂i want to be pregnant but I also don’t as it’s terrifying! MMC has really sent my mind in a spin.

ChickenT2b · 07/11/2022 15:10

@Everythingzrosie i know what you mean. I think more terrified of never being pregnant again at this point. Good luck to you too 🤞🏼

ChloeN · 07/11/2022 15:17

@Everythingzrosie @ChickenT2b Cd12 for me so not too far behind you ladies! I seem to be getting ovulation signs a bit earlier this month which is hoepfully a good thing🤞🏻

bunnykins123 · 07/11/2022 15:55

@ChickenT2b I'm peak day today. CD17 this month which is really late so it already feels like a bit of a slog. To answer your question, it's mainly due to sperm count. If you dtd twice in 1 day, you're not allowing sperm enough time to regenerate so sperm count is reduced. I've had quite a few consultations now with a fertility clinic / RMC clinic and all advice every other day to allow sperm to regenerate. I hope that helps!

ChickenT2b · 07/11/2022 16:11

Thanks @bunnykins123 it does make sense. Hope once a day isn’t too much! Really tried this month 🙈
I am on CD 18 and believe this is peak. This is normal for me though. Do you have a 14 day LP? Guess we will be testing around the same time 🤞🏼

Bubblesandballoons · 07/11/2022 17:50

@bunnykins123 @Everythingzrosie @ChickenT2b i’m 2dpo so we are all very close. Nice to have some company in the tww.
I chased the blood forms up and the secretary didn’t understand why I hadn’t been sent any, so she’s got some written up today and will meet me at the hosp tomorrow so I can get them done, so thats one more thing ticked off and hopefully may give me some answers 🤞🏻

LovelyNanny26 · 07/11/2022 17:58

It took me 4 cycles to get pregnant again.Periods went back to normal next straightaway.

bunnykins123 · 07/11/2022 18:12

@Bubblesandballoons @ChickenT2b hi cycle buddies! Always nice to have some buddies to obsess symptoms over 😂 how many attempts have you all managed to get in?

@ChickenT2b I really don't think there is any right or wrong. I think it's generally advised about the every other day thing, but so many people conceive from every day. You must be exhausted!! My cycle is going really wonky at the moment so last month was cd11 and this month looking like cd18 which is unheard of for me! Poor dh...😬
