I know there was a thread where ladies tracked their rhr about a year ago and wanted to start it back up again as i’m tracking my resting heart rate! at about 7dpo today and it’s been rising for me! anyone else tracking rhr for bfp?

@Ashmax congratulations that definitely looks positive to me 😊

whats this about HRV? I’ve just got the new Fitbit versa 4 which has this but I don’t know much about it apart from it tends to go up during follicular phase and down during luteal phase. Is that right? In what way was your HRV interesting this cycle compared to others?

Ashmax · 03/10/2022 18:43

Still a bit faint for me but hopefully will get stronger 🤞.

On the days my HR was high my HRV was low? I don't know much about it to be honest apart from what Dr Google has said! Apparently HRV is lower in pregnancy!

allgoodthings84 · 03/10/2022 18:46

@Ashmax ooo I’ll have to keep an eye out. I’ve only got a couple nights data on it so far so can’t tell anything yet but interesting for sure.

Annapolis35 · 03/10/2022 19:09

What does your heart rate chart look like @Ashmax ? Fingers crossed lines get darker, but looking good so far.

Ashmax · 03/10/2022 21:09

@Annapolis35 I can't get a good screenshot of this month as October took over there.

Attached this weeks view. AF due Sunday.
And attached my HR the last few months.. had a pregnancy on the highlighted. One chemical, one MC and one this month's 🙈🤞.

Ps. I have a very low heart rate normally 52 would be my average 🤣.

Sorry to hear @TTC2022newbie next month is another cycle and there is hope.

I have just got a peak OPK so guess ovulation is tomorrow, we’ve been dtd and I’ll be in the 2ww soon enough. I feel so positive about this cycle

winterspinach · 09/10/2022 17:28

@Ashmax hope you had some good luck and got your bfp!

@TTC2022newbie sorry it didn’t happen this cycle, but you’re one step closer :)

@Annapolis35 hope you’re doing well! I’ve been trying to distract myself from ttc but i think i ovulated today 😂 i didn’t have any LH sticks but have had fertile signs the past two days but i usually get them for about 4-5 days until ovulation happens but today was a little dry and didn’t BD past two days but did today so fingers crossed. my rhr went to 73 today which was bizarre so i feel like that’s a sign it’s happened! it’s been at 68/69/70 for the past week ish

@Annapolis35 just read ur in the 2ww soon!!! yay, so much luck to you this cycle 🫶🏽🫶🏽

@winterspinach we are both entering the 2ww at more or less the same time! I think the omega 3 has helped as my ovulation has come forward, could be less exercising too. Whatever has done it I’m thankful to have a shorter cycle!! We’ve dtd quite a bit this cycle so I can be safe to say we are doing everything we can and can rest easy. Will probably tomorrow too.

It’s good to distract yourself from ttc, we’ve been really busy and going out a lot so I feel good that not been entirely focused around it this month. My rhr always rises too after ovulation, it’s a clear sign!

winterspinach · 09/10/2022 23:42

@Annapolis35 aw i’m so happy to hear that! i think it’s for sure the omega 3 tablets because that’s what i’ve changed in my supplements for two months and my cycles are coming to 28 days now!
im glad we’re entering the tww together!
since we didn’t dtd as much i’m not so sure we have much of a chance this cycle but i’ll still be monitoring it all! lots of hope for you though :)

let’s get these rhr’s up and up!!

Annapolis35 · 10/10/2022 08:16

It only takes the one sperm @winterspinach so you never know! Ahhh that’s good about the omega 3, I hated having long 32/33 day cycles as it just seemed to drag so much. I’ll definitely keep taking them.

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 07:03

I’m 3dpo now and my rhr has gone down since ovulation. It’s bizarre! I know it’s too early to really gauge anything from it though. Hope you’re all doing well

Ladies I wouldn’t put too much into RHR. I did and was obsessed but turns out it didn’t show me much! I just got my bfp’s (not a frer yet) and my RHR was all over and actually dropped after ovulation! I had bloods on 6dpo this month and I very good results so I know I ovulated when I expected. I have attached my readings and my HRV readings too. I did swap watches on 1dpo so may have skewed it a bit but you can still see. When I’m awake my readings are really high even if I’m just sitting doing nothing and it just drops right down when asleep. Yesterday it was 112bpm just walking down the stairs! I hope this helps as I was obsessing way too much.

Congratulations @allgoodthings84!! Wonderful news. and thanks for the heads, it reassures me and I will stop obsessing over as you are right. Also reassuring re the drop after ovulation

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 08:37

@Annapolis35 it’s the only time I’ve ever had a drop after ovulation. To be honest I had a meltdown to my partner about how I don’t think I even ovulate properly then my bloods confirmed I had progesterone levels of 51.5 on 6dpo so knew I had definitely ovulated then 😂. I went a bit crazy worrying. I can’t talk as as I obsessed over my RHR after ovulation

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 08:55

Ahaha sounds familiar, I was wondering this morning if I had even ovulated too! Though I feel so positive about this cycle, and whenever I start over analyzing I keep reassuring myself that doing that won’t change the outcome! Such nice news for you though, how many dpo are you now?

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 09:07

@Annapolis35 I’m 14dpo. I got a really really faint line on a cheapie 12dpo but didn’t trust it until today. I’m going to get a frer later to take in the morning as these were all I had. These were taken at 2 minutes. The line on the boots one got a lot darker once dried etc

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 09:28

@allgoodthings84 The test looks pretty good to me, the frer will be good though to test. Very exciting!

winterspinach · 13/10/2022 10:28

@Annapolis35 it could always rise again! deffo take into account what @allgoodthings84 shared with us (thank you and so many congratulations!) now it’s not so frightening if rhr drops a bit as long as it rises again. last time mien kept rising with a BFN at the end 😂 so i guess its not always such an exact science.

i got some tests and my peak was the day before yesterday so i think i ovulated yday and today i’m 1dpo so i’m two days behind what i thought! but this gave us a chance to BD lots as i thought we have no more hope so i’m happy about that :) we’re away on a staycation right now so that’s helped relax my body and keep cortisol down!

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 12:45

@Annapolis35 @winterspinach thank you both. I really hope it sticks it took 5 cycles but we both had covid 3 months ago and apparently my partner nearly died (he didn’t he’s exaggerating. good thing they don’t give birth 😂). I think with the RHR thing as long as the line goes up however slowly (even with dips) then there’s a chance. I think it’s just when there’s a sudden sharp decrease just before AF then it’s a no go but again doesn’t mean would be the same for everyone

I hope you both get your bfp very soon 😊

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 13:55

@winterspinach glad the o date was later and you got to dtd!! Keeping very positive this cycle so I’m hopeful that dip after ovulation is a good thing. Will just have to see. Glad you are having a holiday and get to relax. We have a holiday on 31 Oct so I figure even if this isn’t our month at least we have something really nice to look forward to.

@allgoodthings84 i am wishing you all the best for your pregnancy and hope you have a healthy nine months. Yep, as long as rhr stays up when AF is due then you’re in with a good chance

Annapolis35 · 13/10/2022 14:11

Sorry @allgoodthings84 I have another question and hope you don’t mind. Did you have any symptoms or anything during the wait? Or did you just feel normal?

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:27

@Annapolis35 at some point after 6dpo I felt what was just like stitch type pains which would start round the front then move to my back which felt like sciatica. Really quick sharp pains. I’m not sure exactly what day as I tried to ignore them because I’ve had so many “symptoms” over the last 5 cycles to be left disappointed. Apart from that I felt the same. I had all my normal pre AF feelings too (slightly sore boobs and mild twinges) but never turned to full on AF. Biggest sign for me (apart from no AF 13dpo) was that my spotting that normally happens 9/10dpo just didn’t happen just a tiny speck 11dpo then nothing else

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 14:27

@Annapolis35 but with my daughter 8 years ago I felt absolutely nothing and didn’t find out I was pregnant until nearly 7 weeks!
