I know there was a thread where ladies tracked their rhr about a year ago and wanted to start it back up again as i’m tracking my resting heart rate! at about 7dpo today and it’s been rising for me! anyone else tracking rhr for bfp?

Bfn this morning :(
they weren’t frer so not sure if anything would have shown up on an actual frer but i’ll probably try testing again tomorrow.

hope your bloods go well @allgoodthings84 and Isorry to hear that this might be a chemical. hopefully you’re very fertile for the next cycle!

@winterspinach fingers crossed for you it’s just too early for a normal test. If the bloods don’t come up with anything who knows. I’m only having bloods already (I’m on cycle 5 now) because I spot 3 days before AF and it worries me

allgoodthings84 · 22/09/2022 12:36

@Annapolis35 I am on cycle 5 now. I’m 37 and because I spot a few days before AF they have agreed to the tests early. I have a child already so the GP didn’t sound like she was taking me very seriously just kept saying I’ve had a child so likely fine. My child is 7 and a lot can change in that time. My partner has to have a sperm analysis too as he’s not had children so she’s automatically thinking it’s him. He’s only 32 and not tried to have kids until now and I’m 37 so if anything I think it’s more likely to be me but who knows. I know we have only done 4 cycles so might not be anything wrong

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 12:47

So I haven’t RTF thoroughly but wanted to share mine. My RHT would go to 78 then plummet two/three days before period.

I got my BFP on 16th April, 11 days after ovulating. You can see a slight dip the day before and I was sure I was out but then it went higher and higher! I took off the watch 4 weeks later as it kept declining and I’d read it caused a miscarriage. It didn’t and she’s now 9 months :)

@allgoodthings84 Ah I see well it’s good to rule things out. Do they just do routine blood tests and sperm analysis, or tests on specific days of cycle? I am just wondering as I’ll speak to my gp next week. I do quite a bit of exercise as it keeps me sane but I am thinking I’ll reduce it next month, just keep it to 3 or 4 days a week and see if that makes a difference. I managed to get pregnant before doing exercise but there’s no harm trying to slow it down a bit.

@ChickinMarango congratulations and that gives us all hope!

@winterspinach Sorry for the negative test, do you think you’ll test again now or just wait it out? I’ve started getting cramps so know AF is on the way unless there’s some miracle going on haha

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 15:58

I’m forever sharing on TTC boards but this was my BFP on a cheapie one step test. Was 10miu. You can see on the FRER (Same urine) the line is much stronger as 6.25miu! I wasn’t getting the expensive ones out until I thought there was hope though 😂

ChickinMarango · 22/09/2022 15:59

Argh the FRER didn’t post!

@Annapolis35 the tests are done on day 3/4 of your cycle (I had mine cancelled as it was meant to be on the queens funeral day so will be mid October time now on next cycle) and then different bloods day 21 of your cycle (or 7 days after ovulation) it’s to check your hormone levels before and after ovulation. The 21 day includes progesterone and checks whether you ovulate properly

winterspinach · 23/09/2022 06:46

@ChickinMarango thanks so much for sharing and congrats!!!

@Annapolis35 ooh i’m sorry you’re cramping, they’re the worst. unless of course you’re cramping for another reason! my friend said she got the worst af like cramps when she found out she was preggo 🤞🏽🤞🏽

so you know how my rhr dipped yesterday at 10dpo to 74? it’s now back up again to 77 at 11dpo
i did try testing at night and i think i tricked myself into seeing a shadow but it was pretty much a BFN.
only symptom today morning os my stomach is churning so much!

@winterspinach That is so promising!! Hoping for the best for you. Yesterday my rhr increased during the day to 72 and I felt quite positive but this morning it has dropped to 69 and I am feeling very much like my period is coming, got really bad cramps. I also woke up very very late for work and slept through my alarm! Eek.

littlelove23 · 23/09/2022 13:13

Hi all. Sorry to intrude but can I ask what app you are using to plot your heart rate?

allgoodthings84 · 23/09/2022 13:22

@winterspinach thats definitely promising as the drop could have been an implantation dip maybe

@Annapolis35 fingers crossed yours still goes back up. I hate AF ☹️

@littlelove23 it’s just our Fitbit app so our Fitbit’s do the tracking and the info goes onto the app automatically

littlelove23 · 23/09/2022 14:29

@allgoodthings84 Thanks. I have an Apple Watch and find the HR tracker graph a bit rubbish!

Ashmax · 23/09/2022 16:47

Quick Q!

What app are you guys using to get your graphs?
I am Fitbit user and their apps aren't great!

I had a peak in daily resting HR with my last pregnancy. Not much just by 6bpm.

TTC again and so far 3 BPM up on the TWW.

Annapolis35 · 23/09/2022 17:02

Hi @Ashmax it was just posted slightly above, just the Fitbit app and the graphs they have on there. Good luck

winterspinach · 24/09/2022 00:19

@Annapolis35 ooh hope you didn’t have to rush too much!
It always sucks to see it dipping, i’m sorry 💖 but you know what they always say, you’re never out till af arrives!

I stupidly took another test and bfn, i’m not sure why my chart is so high. i did expect that i might be positive by now but i fear it may dip soon. been having on and off cramps all day and feeling icky 🥲

OP posts:
Annapolis35 · 24/09/2022 08:05

Aw no @winterspinach sorry there was another negative test. You never know though until period arrives! I hope your chart is high because of pregnancy.

This morning mine dipped again and my period is due today, I’m fully expecting it. I had a little bit of brown spotting yesterday so it’s on its way! Ah well, I’m always on edge waiting for it to come but then sort of glad once it does as it’s the start of a new cycle. Sounds weird but it always feels like a release and it does mean things are working. I can’t seem to shift that cold and still feel unwell so going to rest a lot during this period.

Annapolis35 · 24/09/2022 08:42

And my period arrived right on time! Ah well. Onwards and upwards

winterspinach · 24/09/2022 10:59

@Annapolis35 oh i’m sorry, treat yourself to something nice and keep positive about the next cycle! it’s always a good sign things are working as they should when af does show up when it’s meant to, take it easy 💖💖

my rhr went up to 78 this morning and then back to 77 so not sure what’s going on lol.

also my cycle is usually 30-31 days but this cycle i ovulated early around 15 which has made it 28 days. i’m not sure if this means my egg quality is getting better as i’ve been taking ovulation support by conceive plus for almost two months now but i hope it’s a good sign and means my eggs are maturing better

OP posts:
Annapolis35 · 24/09/2022 11:11

@winterspinach its a really good sign that your rhr is still elevated. I’m excited for you. I think we may be cycle twins, mine are also about 30ish days. They got really long after the mc and went up to 33 and they used to be 29 prior to mc so hoping it’s getting back to normal. except I ovulate late in the cycle, should be day 18 but it has been as late as day 22 on these long cycles. I’ve started taking coq 10 and that seems to have shortened it a bit so hoping that’s also improving egg quality!

And thanks!! Taking it easy and going round to my mum’s for some homemade lasagne, yum.

sarahc336 · 24/09/2022 18:40

@winterspinach that dip looks like it could be an implantation dip, if you are pregnant it should continue to go higher and higher x

winterspinach · 24/09/2022 21:26

@Annapolis35 Aw enjoy the lasagna, sounds yum!!
i think we might deffo be cycle twins! and i heard coq10 is amazing for egg quality so it must be helping! i think my concieve plus tablets also contain it. i’ve recently started selenium and omega3 tablets so i’m hoping those help.

I took a rapid clear blue today and not really if i saw a proper line, it could have been a silly shadow. those do need more hcg to work so if i am preg then it might not show. i have proper frers coming tomorrow so will try those. I’ll be 13 dpo, it feel like i should have got a positive earlier so i truly think i’m out rn :(

this is my heart rate today, the gap was when i was in the garden and had to take it off lol. but it does drop down to like 75 so idk not feeling so hopeful also have cramps :(
