Hi, thought I'd start a new thread.

I'm 36 DH is 49. We've been trying for 8 months now, Sadly had a CP beginning of July. I have a GP appointment on the 27th to get the ball rolling if we don't conceive. AF arrived today so on to a new cycle.

Anyone else hoping for a BFP in October? xx

@hevann Hi. my weekend has gone too quickly, but it has been ok. How about yours?

Yesterday, it was a friends birthday and we had arranged a get together, I knew drinking was on the cards so I took a cheapie test - not expecting to see anything as I was only 9dpo yesterday. But, I had a faint positive - I was completely shocked! I stayed on soft drinks last night, just incase and I took another cheapie test this morning - again it was a faint positive. Its so early that I'm not letting myself get too carried away yet and I have ordered some FRER which should turn up tomorrow, as they seem to be more favoured in times like this. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that the line gets darker over the next few days, af is due Wed/Thurs.

That's amazing, definitely a positive test. I have everything crossed for you 😘🙏

My tests are getting slightly darker but nothing dramatic, going to get some FRER tomorrow.

Feeling a bit tired today but no major symptoms apart from anxiety 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

My weekends been ok spent the afternoon at a local activity farm with my husband, step daughter her partner & their baby which was really good even though it was chucking it down, weekends just go so quickly though. AF possibly due tomorrow if my cycles are back to normal after my covid cycle. Just taking it one day at a time.

@TTC2022newbie @ScarletDreams this is honestly amazing news! So happy for you both! I have everything crossed your lines get darker. Definitely do a digital. Sending lots of hugs & baby dust to you both!!! 🥂 to sticky beans 🥂 xx

My weekend has been okay! AF was predicted due Thursday, my app only predicts for a 30 day cycle until it works out where you are, so from that I'm 3/4 days late, based on my last cycle though I'm only 2 days late! However all tests have been negative so not holding out hope just think I'm still finding my pattern after coming off the pill. When AF does come it will only be cycle 3 since coming off so I know it can be all over tha place! Im sure I used to have like 36 day cycles as well so only time will tell I guess!

Hope everyone else's weekends went fab! :) xx

@TTC2022newbie thank you 😊 fingers crossed for sticky beans! Yep, good idea to get the frer, they are meant to be more sensitive. I have a clear blue digital but I think it's too soon to use that one yet, I may try that on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I've been feeling more tired too this weekend. It's so hard not to worry but hopefully we can start celebrating soon! Keep us posted x

@hevann sounds like you've had a lovely weekend with the family, despite the crappy weather. I agree, the weekends go far too quickly!

Thank you for your kind words 😊 I have a digital, but I might wait a couple of days as I'm scared it's too soon yet , I read they were less sensitive than the FRER?.
I cant help but worry about it not wanting to stick around - I had never even heard of a CP before joining mumsnet, but now it's another thing to worry about... But, I also have a part of me that's feeling excited about what's hopefully ahead. I'll be sure to keep you all updated this week. X

ScarletDreams · 07/11/2022 08:55

My lines this morning on the cheapies are still faint. I cracked and did a digital. Very Cautiously optimistic after seeing the result. My FRER haven't arrived yet but I can't stop looking at the digital 🙈 x

What do we think ladies…

Honestly can’t tell you how many DPO but my cycle is usually 26-29 days. Admittedly last month was 30 days but today I am day 30, I’ve had AF-like cramps today but no AF as of yet. I thought I’d do a test this evening just to see but we didn’t time DTD well this month so I guessed it would be out. Tomorrow I will be ‘one day late’ officially but I’ve done a cheapie on fairly diluted wee and saw this. As always, it was so hard to get a picture because it’s so faint 😅 and there is a TOUCH more colour to it than appears on the image but not much.. please give me your honest answers- do we think this is a evap? My heart is saying it is because I think at this point I would have a strong line surely. Let me know your thoughts!!

blueberry23 · 13/11/2022 19:40

@Hjudge56 have you still got the wee? I'd do another test if so. See if a line comes up on the next test? I wouldn't like to say either way based on that photo!

Hjudge56 · 13/11/2022 19:42

@blueberry23 no I don’t ! Going to wait till the morning and I think I will judge based on that!

Hjudge56 · 14/11/2022 08:14

Update: Update: I did another two cheapies and there were still faint lines, but this mornings cheapies was a slightly clearer faint line. I also did an OPK this morning out of curiosity and it was quite vivid strong line. The spot of blood turned out to be brown discharge and so overnight only had dark discharge again. Still such faint lines so I’m thinking if it is anything then it could be a chemical but I’m one day late now and I’ve never been 31 days in my cycle before so I guess we’ll see. Not sure implantation would happen this late as I’m over 13DPO. I’ve attached images below. The two bottom cheapies are last nights and the cheapie from this morning is under the OPK. I’ve attached another picture of the cheapie from this morning on its own too!

Ps there is a slight pink to them that the camera isn’t picking up!

ScarletDreams · 14/11/2022 09:42

@Hjudge56 there's definitely a line! And if you are seeing pink then it's looking promising! I think implantation typically happens between days 8-14? And can be pink or brown. Fingers crossed 🤞 for you.

ScarletDreams · 14/11/2022 09:42

I hope everyone else on here is doing OK?

Hjudge56 · 15/11/2022 09:03

Hi ladies!

so I woke up to this on a digital this morning! But my cheapie hasn’t progressed in vividness since yesterday morning. I have an FRER on the way via Amazon so I’ve saved my FMU for that. Just worried as I am 2-3 days late for AF and am about 14DPO so shouldn’t that line be darker? Again, the camera isn’t picking up colour on that cheapie line but I promise it’s light pink!

@staceymarieox @blueberry23 @Hjudge56 @hevann @ScarletDreams

Hey, it's been a long time!!

How are you all.

So I found out I was pregnant in November, had an early scan at 6 weeks and unfortunately there was no baby.
I was then misdiagnosed as having an ectopic pregnancy.
I had the methotrexate injection on 25th November to 'disolve' the pregnancy and have to now waiting 3 months before trying again.

I had a biopsy of my uterus which confirmed that it was not an ectopic pregnancy but a miscarriage.

To say the last few months has been tough and a rollercoaster is an understatement, I had two weeks off work at the time and work were amazing ❤️

Definitely still getting triggers, bursting into tears at random things and moaning 'what could have and should have been' but I'm definitely getting there.

How are you guys? Xx

staceymarieox · 19/01/2023 23:05

@TTC2022newbie so sorry to hear of your loss! I have lost two myself a few years ago, both were unexpected pregnancies that I didn't know I was having until I lost them so can't imagine how you are feeling when you are actively trying to get pregnant! Stay strong! You've got this!

Nothing much interesting happening with me, thought this month was the month but I don't think it is. Me and DH had a row over Christmas which lead to me taking 3 days of my pill because I just couldn't risk things, we've patched up and I'm back of it now of course! I was on December's AF when I took it, haven't had AF since except for a few days of spotting/light bleed which at the time I was hoping was implantation but I'm now thinking may have been a withdrawal bleed from the pill!

AF was due on Monday based on predictions with my cycle tracker but she hasn't shown and pregnancy tests are negative, having cramps but on one side so keeping an eye on ovulation incase it has reset my cycle with a withdrawal bleed but so far those are negative too 🤷‍♀️

Hope everyone else is doing well and hopefully some good news soon from one of us :) xx

hevann · 20/01/2023 11:04

@TTC2022newbie I was only thinking of you the other day! I'm so so sorry for your loss 😢, you have really been through it over the past few months. I can't even imagine how you are feeling. I'm so glad your work were good to you & understood what you needed, it would have been added stress you definitely didn't need if they weren't. I'm sending you lots of hugs.

I stopped coming on the forums around the same time as you too it was quite nice to not think in to it too much. I'm still the same still trying 🤣 AF due Tuesday. I've had loads of symptoms this time felt awful all week but it could just be stress related, I'm not really holding out much hope. One of my best friends announced on our group chat her pregnancy this week. Although I'm really happy for her I am tinged with sadness. They weren't even trying which is the annoying thing.

xx

@staceymarieox sorry to hear about issues with DH! They can be absolute pains in the arse! Been with mine for 18 years & unfortunately they never change 🙈 Glad you patched things up and can get back on track. Hopefully it'll be a BFP for you or AF will arrive & you can get back to normal this cycle. Got everything crossed for you! xx

Hi @TTC2022newbie

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you have been having such a rough journey recently. Its good to hear that your work have been understanding about everything.

Fingers crossed that everything moves forward from here smoothly for you and that you get your bfp in the coming months after your time off to recover from what happened in November.

It's good to hear from you also @hevann @staceymarieox

Fingers crossed you both get your bfp's soon also 🙏
