CD1 hoping for a BFP in October!

Hi, thought I'd start a new thread.

I'm 36 DH is 49. We've been trying for 8 months now, Sadly had a CP beginning of July. I have a GP appointment on the 27th to get the ball rolling if we don't conceive. AF arrived today so on to a new cycle.

Anyone else hoping for a BFP in October? xx

Awww yer must be so strange just relying on the test saying you are pregnant. I have everything crossed, praying and thinking of you 😘

I'm CD8 on cycle 5 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️still don't want to use OPKs yet, they are hidden away with the tests so I'm just going to chill out a bit.

Should ovulate (according to my app) between Thurs - Saturday next week but we are already DTD most days and just going to carry on for another 10days DTD and cover all bases.

Really want this month to be the one 🤞🙏

@TTC2022newbie hey, sorry I've been a bit quiet recently. I'm CD3 of my 9th cycle 🥺 I had my second set of bloods taken on Friday, so waiting on those results. Hoping for some positive news this time but I'm feeling a bit deflated with it all at the moment. Wishing I hadn't had them done to be honest it's made me more worried that there is something wrong with me. The nurse that took my bloods has been lovely & she said to eat almonds! After looking it up nuts are actually quite good for fertility so I'm now on almonds, walnuts & Brazil nuts 🤣 at this point I'll try anything.

I spoke with my doctor today and they want to refer me to the fertility clinic. Im absolutely devastated to be honest. xx

Is it good that they can refer you and maybe help and see the what the next steps are? I also see how shit this is 😔 I'm so sorry!!

I think I'm 1/2dpo seem to have ovulated early either Sunday or Monday and I think we have DTD to cover it (except Sunday because we had a fight because I did a OPK which was very positive and 'apparently' we agreed I wouldn't use them)

So now TWW...

Feeling positive and optimistic but the more hopeful I am the harder it is when I don't get BFP.

Reallly struggling this cycle to accept it is cycle 5 😔 feels like 2022 is running out...

So I just did a CB ovulation test and got a static smile... 3 days earlier than usual and only dtd last night. Good I caught it but usually dtd more in advance to catch it. Feeling a bit annoyed with myself now!!

Sorry I've been off for a while just needed to get my head around everything. I did a lot of thinking & told DH I don't want to go to the fertility clinic. I don't want to set myself up for anymore disappointment. I've made peace with my decision although the doctor did say I could still get pregnant naturally but it could be difficult so there is still apart of me that thinks it'll happen.

But if I do get pregnant naturally then that'll be amazing and it'll be our miracle baby but if I don't then I don't and I honestly think I'm ok with it, not sure my family will be but it's my body, my decision.

I'll still be on here with my fingers crossed for everyone & hoping eventually I'll get a BFP too.

Absolutely hoping and praying you get pregnant naturally.

I'm 10dpo and got my usual spotting yesterday and today that I get before AF and might just test tomorrow morning to confirm as I already feel like I'm out this month! Can't really feel any more disappointed 😞

Just finding the whole journey so mental hard.

Could really do with your mind set and just relax a bit. The hardest bit is not knowing if it will ever happen

I'm not too bad, this is my first month of tracking my cycle and ttc and its feels like such a journey already. As so many others say on here, it's amazing how much it can consume your mind, if you let it. I have been using easy@home ovulation tests and I had my peak 2 days ago now, along with ovulation pains. Today is 1dpo and I'm starting my first tww. The only thing I noticed, and this may be down to it being my first proper cycle since coming off the pill in early September, but I didn't seem to have any ewcm 😕 maybe my hormones aren't quite there yet but we shall see what happens.

@TTC2022newbie it is so mentally hard, I know exactly what/how you're feeling. Sending lots of hugs. Hopefully it's implantation spotting this time for you & not AF 🤞🏻 keep us updated 🥰 it has actually been quite refreshing taking a step back not tracking everything, I still use Flo to record AF but nothing else. xx

@ScarletDreams I'm so happy AF arrived for you & you're in your first TWW now. Hope you're feeling ok with it all? It'll feel like it's taking forever for the TWW to be over but you'll get there quickly enough don't do what I did though & start testing too early. xx

I must admit although we're not technically saying we're actively trying anymore I have started taking lots of vitamins that are supposed to boost the hormones I'm lacking, I've been the absolute Google queen recently so I'm hoping they might give it a bit of a boost in the meantime. xx

@hevann really hope you manage to concieve naturally! Definitely respect your decision to not go to the fertility clinic, its one of those things that you would rather not know its not possible or possible 🤷‍♀️ sounds silly but me and DH are like it now we are TTC, and we were the first time its amazing if it happens but I don't think I could go through all the testing and waiting etc! But definitely don't give up and just relax now and you never know, a lady I worked with said she was trying for years, was told it may not happen, she went on a bit of a meltdown but in a good way, just relaxing, going out enjoying, taking time for herself and a few months after caught! So when you least expect it can! :)

Hope everyone else is doing well, my app says AF is due on Thursday, I tested this Thursday and was negative, but I've had some prickly pains on left hand side where I cramp and this morning mu nipplea feel funny, not sensitive to touch as such but as if they are tingling or thrombin a little inside if that makes sense 🤷‍♀️ I'm probably going to test again later as I'm meant to be going on a night out tonight so would obviously only go if test was negative!

Yes I tested yesterday and BFN!! Probably 11dpo.

Will try and wait for AF now, or at least until I'm late before testing again. AF due Tuesday I think.

@hevann the tww so far has been ok, although I'm only 4dpo and I imagine it's the second week of it that will be the harder one, with the symptom spotting and the temptation to test. So far it's felt like a relief to not need to be ovulation testing twice a day waiting for a peak!

I'm doing okay, I took the early detection digital on Saturday and that was negative. I'm 3 days away from estimated AF now, so I'm not hopeful but never rule it out until AF arrives! Im still having prickly/stabbing pains in lower left side, not constant just like once or twice a day and aside from being exhausted or angry no other AF signs yet, i have found i have more CM like in a watery texture so i dont know if thats good or not!🤷‍♀️ will maybe test again if no AF by the weekend!

Funnily enough after I got a negative on Saturday I opened tik tok and there was a video of a woman who took a test because she was going to a rave and was negative and a week later she had a digital tell her she was 3+ weeks! It was such an odd coincidence as I was testing so I could go out and even though I needed the night out I was still a little gutted it was negative and this gave me a little hope it could still happen this month!

@ScarletDreams oh yes the second week always drags. I used to be terrible as soon as it hit 7dpo I'd be testing even though I knew it was too early 🙈 hopefully it'll go quickly for you though. xx

@staceymarieox I really do love a holiday, I try to do as many as I can afford! Lol! We've started cruising now so it's a lot easier. We did 2 cruises this year then a big family holiday to Turkey that my mum paid for so it's been good. Glad you're doing ok. Exactly, you're not out until AF arrives. I'm not sure what the extra CM could mean but hopefully it's pointing in the right direction! Love TikTok vid! Maybe it is a sign! Lots of luck! xx

No sign of AF and trying not to feel hopefully or disheartened.
I tested on Saturday at 11pdo ish and BFN.
I also had spotting on Thursday and Friday last week (which is common for me).
I've had what I assume is heartburn yesterday and today. Don't think I've ever had it before, like a burning in my chest/heart.
So I think I ovulated 2 weeks ago today as I got a strong OPK positive but I also didn't use the OPKs properly, only did three.
My app still thinks I'm due on Thursday this week though.
So we will wait and see.
Still not tested since Saturday and hopefully won't until the weekend.
Mentally finding it easier not testing 👍

I did a test, I couldn't wait... No second line after 3 mins and just went back to look and there was definitely a second line. 😬

Never had an evapo line before but I guess it could well be I'll ll test again with FMU tomorrow and see 🤞

I have already fallen in to the trap of symptom spotting and I'm only 6dpo 🙈 I have been nauseous since Saturday, boobs are sore too and ive had some twinges in lower abdomen. Monday and Tuesday I had brown spotting which I googled and it said could be delayed evidence of ovulating which makes sense. But today I have had some pink spotting. I'm wondering I've I may have ovulated the day before it predicted and I'm maybe 7dpo today but still sounds too early for implantation? Would be really early for af though. Ah I can see how this tww can drag as the months go on!.

It's pretty sure the second line is pink. 😬🤞

I really don't want to get my hopes up but this is the closest I've been to a BFP!!

Might have to hold off drinking now and test again tonight.

I wrote all my symptom spotting now this month so I didn't obsess over them but if it did result in a BFP I knew what symptoms I did get, definitely helped me notice things in my body more. But once I wrote them down I carried on with the day, would recommend trying

That's a really good idea about writing them down, I might try that.

Just done two cheapie tests and I can see a faint line on both. 🤞kinda hoping it would be bolder with FMU but no AF either yet so all good so far I guess.

I'm not 100% sure how many dpo I am.

I did three OPKs early on which I think would make me 16dpo, my app says 14dpo and per last cycle I would be 12dpo 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

My boobs are a bit sore if I knock them and I'm pretty sure they are bigger.

@TTC2022newbie this is sounding really promising for you! Did the faint lines on both turn up within the 3 minutes? It should hopefully get darker each day, as you say you didn't properly track and may potentially only be day 12dpo.

I have had some more pale brown discharge today, yesterday was pink and brown the day before that. I'm hoping I ovulated earlier than the app predicted as it is saying I'm 7dpo today. I dont usually from memory get spotting between periods so I'm hoping it's implantation but the next week is going to drag for sure 😅

@hevann I love a holiday too we haven't been for years! Due to covid and honestly the idea of taking a 2 year old on holiday at the moment gives me nightmares 🤣🤣

Still no AF, due today according to my app! I have the moodiness, bloating, like a pressure sensation which will probably turn out to be wind 🤣 tested last night and still BFN and I promised I wouldn't test again as likely AF will come but the more it's late the more tempted I get 🤦‍♀️🤣 its only cycle 2 maybe 3 my minds a blur! Since coming off the pill so not too worried that things are all over the place just yet!
