Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

My RHR still hasn’t dropped below pre ovulation level and I’m CD7. I’m usually now at my lowest all cycle. Either my Fitbit isn’t working properly or I’m thinking maybe I had a CP? My RHR stayed up until AF started (always starts to drop 2 days before) and I had that really heavy bleed. I started my opk’s last night as usual and reading was 0.25 which is high for me at CD6. Maybe you was right when you said my early spotting was implantation @NSx not my normal spotting starting 2 days early

ive pre ordered the new fit bit just in case though and it arrives on 30th so Friday next week

@allgoodthings84 who knows, but I doubt there’s anything wrong with your fitbit tbh, our bodies are strange 😂😅
I’m 9po and not much to say but I’ve had the worst gassy stomach for the past 3 days - horrendous.
AF due on Tuesday but I don’t feel any diff so not hopeful - my chart is pretty standard at the minute too..,

I think I've either missed ovulation or I've started using the clear blue digitals too late. Came home from holiday CD14 and started using the tests CD14 and CD15, both just blank circles. But I think I should have started using the test earlier so it won't be accurate? I dunno! Might just sack off the OPKs and SMEP for this month and try to DTD every other day! CD15 now.

@thedust its so confusing isn’t it 😩😩😩 … just do alternate days to be sure.

I got my progesterone day 21 levels back and it was 30.8 don’t know what that is but they said I ovulated 😂✨ so that’s a relief atleast

@NSx shhh I want to let myself think it’s my Fitbit so I can justify to myself the fact I’ve just pre ordered the new one for delivery next Friday 😂. I think anything over 10 means all ok so yours look good 😊

@thedust definitely go for every other day at least until you know will be too late for your ovulation

@NSx glad the bloods came back ok and you know for sure that you ovulated! @allgoodthings84, hope your RHR goes back to normal soon - definitely a good excuse for a new watch! No news with me, I'm 6dpo. Got the blood test in the morning so guessing I'll have the results some time next week. AF due next Friday, but we are going on hols first thing Sunday. Not perfect timing but at least if she shows up I'll have a nice week enjoying the AI wine and food with no stress!

i’m 9dpo absolutely feeling NOTHING. Don’t think I’ll test tbh, AF due Tues so will just wait it out, no point wasting a perfectly good test for nothing —
will you test before you go? @fsr111 im having a lot of wind — are u having this issue at all?

@fsr111 fingers crossed for you your results are all normal. A holiday will be lovely though in this blah weather. We are in the thick of Xmas at work and I’m just finishing Easter 2023!

we dtd tonight. Dedication right there as he has a sprained ankle and I slept funny on my neck last night and it’s sore today. Wouldn’t have bothered but he’s away from tomorrow until Sunday and I’ll be CD10 then and the last 2 cycles I ovulated CD12 so tonight will count if it’s the same this cycle. I’ve never had the same cycle length 3 times in a row though so I’m expecting it to be a day or 2 (or 3) later but who knows as my body has a mind of its own

@NSx it’s because my last 2 cycles have been only 24 days which is the shortest mine ever are. If I don’t have EWCM tomorrow then I know I’m likely to ovulate later this cycle. Max is 27/28 days (rare to be 28). Only times I’ve had longer was covid and annoyingly the first cycle I tracked (before ttc) and think I stressed myself with the opk’s and everything else so delayed ovulation

@allgoodthings84 i get what you mean - I’ve never had a cycle shorter than 28, last was 28 one before 29 I think this one should be 29 might even be longer who knows 😂😅

My body is definitely messing with me this cycle, I've had 28/29 day cycles like clockwork for over a year, then this month when we decide to try SMEP, boom, ovulation on CD11. Eh?! It's always been CD14/15 before now, so everything has been thrown out this cycle 😭 I'm 14dpo tomorrow, so if my temp hasn't plummeted to below my coverline, I may use my last remaining FRER 😬

@LucyFraser1981 oooo good luck! One thing about shorter cycles is everything moves a little quicker.

Think I'm out. Temp's dropped below coverline, got lower backache, and cramps starting, plus the achey heavy thighs I also get. So AF will arrive later today or tomorrow. Which means my day21 bloods that were done on Wednesday are probably useless I'd guess? As I booked them before I ovulated 3/4 days early 😖

They will still work as long as taken between days 20-22 ??? @LucyFraser1981

Honestly, you could have used me as textbook classic cycle in ALL OTHER MONTHS, yet this month my body decided to muck things up and ovulate earlier than it's EVER DONE. 😭😭😭

Sent an econsult to surgery, GP confirmed progesterone was low, which was expected due to it being taken on the wrong day 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ just waiting to hear back from her if she's happy for me to rebook once my bbt suggests I've ovulated 🤞 I'm getting stressed about it all now, each cycle it doesn't happen just means I'm one cycle closer to being even less likely. I'm 41 now 😔

Ah I thought it was meant to be more 7dpo than half way through LP? If it’s half way through LP I need to think about mine as I don’t ovulate CD14 that often

@allgoodthings84 yes, think it's supposed to be 7dpo, which is what would usually be about halfway through my LP anyway, as it's always 14/15 days long. So when I booked the test for this cycle, I was assuming I'd ovulate on day 14/15 as I always usually do (according to my BBT), so this cycle me ovulating (according to BBT & CB opk) on day 11, has thrown that all out the window, and the blood test ended up being done 5 days too late 😭

@LucyFraser1981 may I ask what your level was did they tell you? For sure they will let you rebook unless they think it’s low because of wrong dates and not very much outwith normal, but in that instance they would rebook you if you insist …

I’m 10dpo and waiting for AF on Tuesday 🥹

@nsx she didn't say, just that it was low and suggested I'd not ovulated. But when I said my BBT suggested I'd ovulated earlier, and my period feeling like it's about to start today or tomorrow, which fits with my 14/15 day LP, she was happy for me to rebook, so I've made an educated guess and gone for October 14th, which should be CD 21 and 7 days after ovulation, if I've gone back to my normal ovulation on CD14 🤞
My thyroid was 1.89 so that's something at least, as apparently anything over 3 can cause issues with conception, even though most GPs don't consider it a problem unless thyroid is over 10.
I'm hoping that the fact my period arriving imminently confirms FF and CB opks were accurate in suggesting I ovulated on CD11, as at least that means I'm likely ovulating, even though the bloods were low, as obviously that was because they were drawn too late in this cycle. Just hope I'm back to my normal CD 14 ovulation this cycle. Going to start using the CB opks earlier this cycle too, just in case. Have also asked my partner to contact his surgery to ask for a sperm analysis, so hoping he's actually done that now... 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
