Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

Honestly @allgoodthings84 that's darker than my positive 14dpo test when I was pregnant with my son. Hopefully it'll be darker again in 48 hours and will give you some reassurance 💗 keeping my fingers crossed for you 🍀

@LucyFraser1981 thank you 😊that makes me feel a bit more hopeful. It’s so hard not to compare to last cycle. This cycle I’ve actually had symptoms (the nausea the other day and the horrendous heartburn last night and on off all day today) and last time I didn’t feel any different to other cycles. I spotted for 3 days this time though 9-11dpo and a tiny smudge in CM this morning but it’s stopped again. I’ll test again Wednesday evening and hopefully the line will be darker this time rather than lighter 🤞

I have no idea if my spotting this cycle was my normal spotting or implantation spotting though as they happen at same time!

at least I know no matter what happens now that spotting does not mean I’m definitely out like I’ve always thought it did. It’s definitely a case of not out until AF arrives

@NSx i’ll definitely try as I learnt last month there’s nothing I can do to change the outcome so best to not stress and it might just be fine. It’s so sad as we should all be happy to get a bfp, not worrying. I want us to all get bfp that give us our babies

I can't find my 14dpo photo, but found my 12dpo photo and it's barely visible! Not sure if it'll reassure you, but wanted to show you how faint they can be and still result in a now very large and noisy 8 year old 💗

when I got pregnant in feb I didn’t use frers as I didn’t know half of this TTC stuff I legit just used an OPK and off I went 😂 my preg test I took was the one included in the CB pack 😂

im not sure if having more knowledge this time around is power 😂 I think the more u know the more stress 🥲

@NSx i agree. I knew nothing when I had my daughter and there was no stress until the end of the pregnancy. Ttc is really really hard. My partner is amazing though and tries to make me laugh even though he’s hoping everything works out himself

@allgoodthings84 hope is all I have, but honestly it makes no logical sense to me. I got pregnant very easily in Feb, granted it didn’t work out, but I got pregnant - and now well it just ain’t working — and it’s not like much has changed we literally got preg feb and then we’re trying again by end of june( it’s less than 6 months. 🤯🤯🤯 just doesn’t make any sense.

@NSx nothing about ttc makes sense. All of us have had tests which suggest we shouldn’t have any issues. I know I’ve now got pregnant twice but I want it to stick too or it’s back to square one still struggling ttc with the emotions of a loss. I know it was so much worse for you too, it’s all so unfair

@NSx it’s one bonus of having only a 12 day LP that my cycles are shorter. We are just wishing our life away and it’s so frustrating. I hope you get your bfp this cycle!

My LP is 14 days and whilst it’s a good thing in theory - it’s soul destroying time wise -
legit just wasted the last 6 months or whatever it is, wishing my life away:
I don’t think it will happen for me anytime soon, I think I’m in for a long run with this unfortunately but thanks for the positive vibes 🤞🤞✨✨✨

@NSx I thought I would be too and didn’t get the first bfp until cycle 5. This was cycle 6. So 2 in a row after trying for months with no luck. We literally can’t predict when it will happen unfortunately.

I want to test Wednesday to be the 48 hours so hopefully I don’t get too scared and wimp out and not take one. In some ways I would love to just leave it but I know it won’t help

@NSx I’m all good. I’m still getting heartburn every time I eat anything so I’m hoping that’s a positive sign but who knows. Apart from the heartburn and very slightly tender boobs everything feels normal

@NSx I’m really cold at work though but that’s because one of my colleagues likes to keep the window next to her wide open and she’s always warm. I’m always cold 😂

the 2ww is the bit that always drags. The first 2 weeks there’s the opk’s and dtd to keep you distracted but after ovulation it’s just a waiting game

Hey guys, will be keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow @allgoodthings84. I have a feeling things will be different for you this time, especially with the symptoms you have. I'm definitely feeling the misery of the TWW too @NSx. This is our 14th cycle, probably 8/9 of properly nailing the timing, etc. and nothing. Been feeling really miserable about it today, which just makes me think it's the hormones and AF is on its way... I'm very much done with this journey!

@fsr111 thank you. I’m really nervous about testing again and my heart keeps wanting to put it off but my head reminds me that it won’t change the outcome so best to be prepared either way.

Pregnancy can have the same hormonal symptoms as AF so you don’t know yet 🥰. The 2ww is horrible though and it’s such a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s all just so unfair how some people get pregnant first time every time with no issues and others (like us) take ages and/or have losses. Especially as we all have had tests that suggest we are fine to conceive
