Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

I just went loo and proper spotting so reckon I’m out 😞

Hello all, sorry I've been quiet, just been plodding along and stuck in my own head. Had a therapy session today, first one since my really bad weekend a few weeks ago so quite an emotionally intense day talking it all through, lots of crying 🤦🏻‍♀️ my homework for the next fortnight is to try and talk to myself as kindly as I do to other people, as I have major self-esteem issues and just generally don't feel good enough, which is not helpful at all and makes me constantly worried my partner will leave. And we know that stress isn't helpful when TTC!
Got my crosshairs today saying I likely ovulated CD13 as I thought, so 3dpo for me. Will test in a week or so.

Sorry the spotting has started @allgoodthings84 but those progesterone results were good. Will your GP be referring you to gynae now due to the spotting, I think that's what you were hoping?

Allgoodthings84 is right @NSx you got the two most important days even with your early ovulation, so still a good chance! 🍀 We've only managed the day before ovulation about 50% of the time 😖

@LucyFraser1981 sometimes our heads mess with us massively. I hope it helps talking it all through. I’m glad to hear you ovulated when expected this time 😊

Yep the results are great so I just don’t understand. He said if I email him he will contact gynae with my concerns and ask them to get in contact with me. He doesn’t think they will do anything until I have 2 more miscarriages as I got pregnant but he will give the info and tell them that I’m really worried about the spotting. I think he’s hoping they will at least talk to me and put my mind at ease if nothing else.

If I have another miscarriage though I’ll be going private. My partner also said earlier that if we go awhile longer with no bfp we will go private. He doesn’t think we have anything to worry about either but knows I worry about the spotting. If I didn’t spot I wouldn’t worry and I wouldn’t worry about the early miscarriage if I didn’t spot as it’s so common. I know it’s probably all in my head and lots of people spot and get pregnant and have their baby. Just, like all of us here, I want it so badly. My daughter is totally enough but her dad is in her life so it’s not the same for my partner even though he loves her to bits.

@allgoodthings84 im so sorry the spotting has started again, it’s so annoying not knowing what’s behind this. Hopefully your Dr can pass the info onto Gynae and maybe they have a simple explanation - fingers crossed 🤞 …
@LucyFraser1981 I hope you are being kind to yourself, we’re all so hard on ourselves and it defo doesn’t help anything… I don’t know you personally but you come across so kind and friendly on here so I think you really need to stop thinking the worst, I’m sure your partner isn’t going anywhere 💕 so stop worrying.
yes we managed to DTD 2 important days so will see what happens? I’m not holding my breath 😂 … let’s see what happens. TTC is a mind f*ck .

Morning everyone, how are you all doing? No news with me, just thought I'd check in. Did the spotting continue @allgoodthings84? Good that your progesterone was high on your results again this week. Hopefully your dr can get you a referral to check out the spotting, etc. @LucyFraser1981, sorry you've been struggling, hope you are doing your homework and being kind to yourself? How are you @NSx? Hope you have made it through this week ok. Did your BBT confirm ovulation?

@fsr111 not had any spotting this morning yet but was on and off all day yesterday and the day before so I’m sure it will be along soon. It’s never every time I go to the toilet just on and off so I know I’m out this cycle. AF is due Sunday. It is great my results are high this cycle too so I know for definite they weren’t high just because I was pregnant last cycle at least. I will email the doctor this week and wait to hear back. I know it won’t be quick being nhs but better than nothing

yea I’m doing ok thank you, as well as I could be I suppose… yea well FF says I ovulated CD13, but I think it was very early morning cd14 as I got my peak at lunch time cd13 so defo hadn’t ovulated by then. So I’m technically not exactly 3 dpo per se.

I am imagining things aren’t I? In some ways I hope I am as it’s so faint I’m thinking it won’t be a good outcome again 😞

The one where there’s 2 is because one is done with water as I’m so sure it’s an indent

My partner thinks I’m imagining things and seeing what I want to see. I told him I don’t want to see faint lines like this after last time. I’m sure it’s an indent but know I’m not imagining a second line

@allgoodthings84 i can see something 🤞🤞 how many dpo are u? Do u have a FRER?

@NSx I’m 12dpo again. I think it looks exactly the same as the one I did 12dpo last cycle so if they aren’t an indent I don’t think it will be good news. I think it’s an indent? I haven’t got any other tests and right after doing this test we have gone away for the weekend to stay with my partners family so I won’t be able to test until earliest Monday evening if AF hasn’t arrived before. I’m due on tomorrow so will know tomorrow I guess anyway. If I come on tomorrow then must be an indent surely as would be right on time

I’ve never had an indent on those blue cheapie tests, do u have another on to try? @allgoodthings84

@NSx I have about 3 left at home but not back until Monday. I haven’t had an indent before either but I think I’ve seen on these boards others have that’s why I did the water one. I’ll know tomorrow as AF is always 13dpo without fail

@NSx thank you. I’m so scared as if it’s not an indent it’s so faint again.

But those tests aren’t that dark before period. So I wouldn’t expect a raging line on there til after missed period 🤞✨✨✨ @allgoodthings84

@NSx the reason I tested was because I’ve had no spotting so far today. I had it on off Wednesday-yesterday so not sure what’s going on

@allgoodthings84 that whole spotting thing is mind boggling 🤯 honestly .. what does it all mean

@NSx I have no idea. I don’t think it’s a good sign but hopefully won’t always cause problems. No idea what’s the cause and why since we have started ttc it starts 1-2 days earlier than before we was ttc. It’s so odd.

@allgoodthings84 very strange but like you said, hopefully it doesn’t impact you at all.

@NSx thank you 😊. I’ve brought my pads etc ready for it. I do find it much easier now I track ovulation as I love knowing exactly when AF is coming 😂
