@NSx as you didn’t get your positive opk until early afternoon I would say tomorrow morning will definitely still count

allgoodthings84 · 08/11/2022 19:44

Positive cheapie I mean

NSx · 08/11/2022 20:22

@allgoodthings84 thats what I was hoping for 🀞🀞let’s see 😊
how u getting on?

allgoodthings84 · 08/11/2022 20:35

@NSx fingers crossed for you. I’m ok I just feel sick so trying to keep still. I’m not often glad my daughter isn’t with me but I am tonight as when I get up I feel worse. I don’t feel like I’m going to be sick though thankfully. Hopefully it stays that way as I can’t afford time off work and if I’m sick I have to be off 48 hours from the last bout if sickness.

fsr111 · 08/11/2022 20:46

Hope today hasn't been too painful for you @NSx. At least in a way this day is almost done now, and as you have been dreading it hopefully it will feel better now it's passed in a way. Hope you feel better soon @allgoodthings84, I know you don't like symptom spotting but nausea is surely making you think...?!

allgoodthings84 · 08/11/2022 20:52

@fsr111 it’s a bit early at 8dpo isn’t it? I’ve just been dreading it turning out being a bug as I really could do without missing 2 days pay before Xmas. I’ll know soon as I usually start spotting 9/10 dpo

NSx · 09/11/2022 09:53

@allgoodthings84 how are u feeling today? Loads of people are having a viral sickness bug at the minute so I hope you don’t have that, my boss is off work with it at the minute..

@fsr111 thank you, you’re right I do feel a bit better as I was dreading it for so long, maybe now I can move forward with my life, how are u?

I’ve just DTD again so only 2ce so far this fertile window πŸ˜β€¦
I had a temp increase this morning so not sure if I’ve ovulated already … might try to DTD this evening again just Incase 🌚

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 09:58

@NSx I’m ok only feeling very slightly sick now. Definitely not going to actually be sick. It was weird I felt really sick but could also feel that I wasn’t going to actually be sick.

Twice but on the best 2 days so still lots of chance 😊

NSx · 09/11/2022 11:20

@allgoodthings84 sometimes I feel like nausea is worse than actually throwing up 😭 hope u feel better soon πŸ₯°

well I don’t know I hope so, I’m thinking I might have ovulated quickly like maybe through the night or something because my temp rose this morning - I thought people ovulated 24 hours after peak πŸ˜‚ but i have no clue what’s going on this cycle - OPKs are lower again this morning so defo peaked yesterday …

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 11:26

@NSx usually I would say the same but if I was sick I would have had to have 2 days off work and I can’t afford that this close to Xmas. I’m ok hardly nothing now.

I think ovulation is 12-36 hours after its first positive (not necessarily peak). It’s so easy to miss the beginning of it being positive so hard to judge. After ovulation you have 12-24 hours though so this mornings one will be fine

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 11:27

my results have been there since late last night but I know it won’t be approved quickly as my GP was running 20 minutes late by my daughters appointment this morning and she was only the 2nd one of the day so no idea when he will get a spare moment. They don’t get long enough per appointment.

NSx · 09/11/2022 11:50

@allgoodthings84 thats so annoying, so can you see your results ? Do you know what they are or aren’t they published yet on ur app?

yea hopefully yesterday (before ovulation) and today possibly just during or after I don’t know πŸ˜… should count, might try to squeeze another one in this evening just for good measure - I doubt tomorrow at 7pm after I get in from work would be worthwhile as will be well past it. Who knows πŸ˜‚

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 11:56

@NSx nope can’t see them but a note goes in the β€œconsultations” tab when the results are with the GP but doesn’t give any result or info until the results have been approved to view by the GP. No one can see them until the GP has viewed them so no point ringing either. It will be done soon I’m sure. Last time another GP ended up approving them on a day mine wasn’t in but not sure if they will when he is there.

we often don’t bother day after as can’t until around 11pm so I know no point for me then

NSx · 09/11/2022 12:05

@allgoodthings84 in my work the labs (bloods) are sent to the GP who requested them and if they are on annual leave or off we send them to another Dr who’s in that day.
the labs get done daily so I would imagine yours will be sent to the GP today and checked so probably tomorrow should be on ur app ..

well that’s it, if I ovulated this morning or through the night then tomorrow evening doesn’t count. Probably best to just try and get 1 more in this evening πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… just Incase haha

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 12:10

@NSx oh yea that’s what I meant. I can see on my app the results have been sent to my GP so just waiting now. That’s the note I was talking about. It’s a note to say it’s with the GP. Last time they were sent to him on the Thursday night and didn’t get them until the Monday so hopefully won’t be so long this time as not as close to the weekend.

yea tonight definitely do more good than tomorrow night for sure.

NSx · 09/11/2022 12:56

@allgoodthings84 fingers crossed you get them a bit faster this time, why’s your doctor so slow πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…the doctors at my work check them the day they come in πŸ’•

I will give it a bash this evening πŸ˜… then the dreaded 2WW

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 13:05

@NSx he works at the medical centre as a GP but he also works at a private practice (or he used to don’t know if he still does) so he’s not there everyday. His medical knowledge is excellent but it is hard to get an appointment with him as he’s always so booked up. Appointments are always running behind at our GP’s so they struggle to catch up and have to to the approving etc in between. I totally get it I just don’t like it. I imagine he will do it later (hopefully)

my 2ww will be over on Sunday. I’m certain I’m not pregnant this cycle. I think I had a tiny bit of spotting when I went to the toilet. I’m not 100% sure if it was or not. I did get a little spotting last time 8 and 10dpo (only on one wipe each day) but we all know how that ended. I think proper spotting (more than once) definitely signals me being out so I’ll be keeping an eye.

NSx · 09/11/2022 13:10

@allgoodthings84 ah right ok, surely another GP should be checking the results then if he’s not there, like what if something serious comes back with someone’s bloods, they should be contacted asap for a follow up. Anyways fingers crossed you get them back and they’re normal so you can just move on from it …

last time you didn’t think you were pregnant and u were so u just never know, I have my fingers crossed for you xx

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 13:30

@NSx i guess it’s because he is there today just busy. I still keep checking every 30 minutes πŸ˜‚. He was really lovely with my daughter this morning when she was terrified of having her verruca frozen so he’s in my good books again

I’ll just always see spotting as a bad sign now. Even if I am pregnant I’ll worry from the spotting because of last cycle. If the spotting ramps up I think I’ll definitely be out though as last cycle it didn’t spot properly

NSx · 09/11/2022 13:34

@allgoodthings84 atleast you have some indicators so you might know before actually getting a positive or negative test …
in feb I got some pale pink implantation bleeding at around 12dpo or there abouts, only once and only when I wiped, but I’ve never seen it since and never been pregnant since. So I guess if I saw that again it may be a good sign, although I could totally be clutching at straws - I guess u never truly know.

hopefully if he’s there today he should look at your bloods ??

@LucyFraser1981 how are u doing ? You’ve been quiet I hope you’re ok πŸ’–

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 14:16

@NSx well results are in 52.6 so even higher than last time (51.5 last time). This time was 7dpo. So I know I don’t have an issue ovulating or progesterone at this stage but I still worry about progesterone 9/10dpo onwards. Nothing more I can do apart from email my GP as he requested for him to contact gynae for further advice on the spotting and early miscarriage. Maybe it’s all in my head but I can’t shake this sorry about my spotting

@fsr111 @LucyFraser1981 I hope you’re both ok?

NSx · 09/11/2022 15:45

@allgoodthings84 mine was only 30.8 when I did it now you got me worried I have low progesterone πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ omg 😭😭😭
my head is gone with all this ttc nonsense honestly πŸ˜‚

will u test or just wait for AF?

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 15:54

@NSx the GP was very clear to me on the phone last week than anything 30 and above shows strong ovulation so you definitely don’t need to worry.

I will wait until at least after the latest time for me to start spotting properly. It’s always 9 or 10dpo so if by the morning of 11dpo I haven’t started spotting properly I’ll consider testing as want to catch if I have a CP.

NSx · 09/11/2022 16:16

@allgoodthings84 theres not much I can do about it this cycle anyways so will see what happens - I know I ovulate so I guess that should be something…
can’t believe this is my 5th cycle 😭 …
makes sense to wait until 11dpo then, when is that for you?

allgoodthings84 · 09/11/2022 16:20

@NSx I think the most common issue on infertility is to do with ovulation so as you definitely ovulate that’s a good position. I need to listen to this myself πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

I’m 9dpo now. I had that tiny spot this morning so not feeling very hopeful about it
