Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

@allgoodthings84 i don’t know how u can wait 😂😂😂 I would atleast take another cheapie this morning to see if I get a faint line 😂 but that’s just me & I think ur pregnant 😅🤍🤞

@NSx i went toilet at 6am desperate for a wee so wouldn’t do one now 😂. It’s only because I’m so scared of seeing a bfn that I’m not this morning. I’ll believe it more if AF doesn’t start today as I really don’t think I could have ovulated late

@NSx the main reason is because I’m scared. So scared of a bfn and the disappointment I know I’ll feel

@allgoodthings84 I get it completely - however I think there is a good chance, so I would probably just want to know either way if I were u. 😂😅
I have a good feeling… I don’t normally test early but if I did a cheapie and had a smidgen of a line I doubt I could wait 😂😂😂😂

@NSx i’ll definitely be going for it in morning if no AF today. If AF doesn’t come today then I don’t know how it could be a bfn

@allgoodthings84 I did wonder if the high progesterone levels could indicate you were pregnant, so I shall keep my fingers crossed!🤞
Just had my covid booster, so hoping the side effects will have worn off by Friday lunchtime as I have my day 21 re-test then. Should be bang on 7dpo, so I'm really hoping levels are as good as yours!

Thank you @Iwillstayhopeful. I will say I’ve been rubbish and not once completely followed SMEP but only by one day or something each time. I think the most important are peak day and ovulation day. Good luck for your bfp

@LucyFraser1981 if it wasn’t because I’m pregnant then my progesterone levels are pretty damn high for 6dpo for sure. I think I know deep down I was definitely pregnant last night I’m just scared it’s a chemical because of how faint those lines were.

I’m still not spotting again yet. It was just that tiny bit yesterday which considering I spot from 9/10dpo usually is a bit of a shock. AF is due today but if I don’t spot first I’ll be shocked as it’s been years since I’ve not spotted before AF. So yea I’m on spotting watch rather than AF watch at the moment.

I’m so scared that I’m building my hopes up for nothing. I need to chill 😂

@LucyFraser1981 it feels better knowing you’ve got the right day for the bloods doesn’t it. I’m sure your results will be all fine and will be a weight off your mind too

@allgoodthings84 my lines on the IC and FRER were very faint and that was 12dpo, so a line's a line I say! Can't wait for your update tomorrow 😊💗

Absolutely, was so cross when it ended up being the wrong day last time! So think all being well it'll be bang on and should hopefully corroborate my temp rise/opks 🤞

@LucyFraser1981 I will be gutted if AF comes today but it’s out of my control so I need to try and distract myself. I could find stuff to do tonight but I’ll probably just scroll on my iPad for hours 😂

I bet you was. I can’t see the results saying you don’t ovulate or surely you wouldn’t get a temp rise after a opk. I think both matching up together is a great indication.

Got my mum's blood pressure monitor and BP is much better than at the fertility appointment, so I'm guessing it was the stress of the appointment (was 160/90 at the appointment! Now 117/88, so the diastolic is a little high still, but only a bit, whereas the systolic is ideal, so my partner has relaxed a bit now 😅)

You have so much more willpower than me, I know that if I ever see a faint line I shall be getting ALL my tests out 🤦🏻‍♀️😅
I do get waiting though 💗

@LucyFraser1981 oh trust me if I was certain I was getting a bfp then I would be too but for some reason fear of the bfn is holding me back. This way I can be hopeful for longer. If AF isn’t here when I wake up in the morning I must be pregnant though as it’s always 14 days after peak and I know I can’t have ovulated later and no spotting (just that little bit yesterday). If AF doesn’t come today I’ll need to call the doctors tomorrow anyway to cancel my day 3 bloods because it won’t be day 3 on Friday if AF doesn’t arrive today

if I am pregnant it’s typical to be the cycle I’ve had all the tests etc as was so sure I had low progesterone 🤦‍♀️

@allgoodthings84 yep, that would be typical! I'm kind of hoping for the same luck, as after spending money on a consultation and expensive blood tests it would be a bit of sod's law if I caught this cycle 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ I tend to go through phases of thinking it'll happen and then just as quickly talk myself out of it and tell myself I'm too old 🤷‍♀️😕
Being patient has never been my strong point 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

@LucyFraser1981 same here. I’m so impatient when I want something but I also have a lot of willpower. I always think it’s never going to happen as it seems so unbelievable when you keep trying cycle after cycle and it not happening you get used to it.

So I woke up early desperate for a wee (5 hour hold so thought ok be fine) and did the tests. Defo I positive but I’m so worried about the lines being so faint even though the cheapie is definitely darker than it was before. So I’m going to try and get to superdrug after work before picking my daughter up and get a FRER. I can do it if I walk really really fast 😂

Those images have no filters on them and the lighting at pre 6am is not the best I guess

@allgoodthings84, came here as soon as I woke up to see if there were any updates from you! I'd say that line looks pretty good! With my DD the lines were that faint for a while after AF was due. Hope the FRER puts your mind at rest and you can start to feel excited! Congratulations! 🤍

@fsr111 I hope the line isn’t too faint to be viable. It’s hard for me to judge as the one I took when pregnant with my daughter was a blazing positive as I was nearly 7 weeks 😂. Do you think I should wait and do the FRER with FMU tomorrow morning? Or wait 48 hours even? I might get a digital not sure. Just one that says pregnant or not pregnant so I can see it in words 😂 I’m not going to get a weeks one though as don’t want it to worry me etc

@NSx you did call it from the blood results! It worries me a bit if I was pregnant back then though that my line should be darker by now but I know nothing so going to try and chill and just be happy that right now I’m pregnant

this was my last cycle to be pregnant before turning 38 too. My partners sperm analysis was meant to be next week so he will be delighted to cancel that 😂. I need to cancel my day 3 bloods as they are meant to be tomorrow but it’s going to be hard to get through as work, then collecting my daughter then her swimming lessons then by time we get back home it will likely be closed and my appointment is 8.44 so won’t get through quick enough in morning either 😬

I know there’s going to be more bfp’s and you will all get yours soon

@NSx you definitely ovulate! Your bloods, opk’s and BBT all confirm it 😊

i think u would get a good line on a FRER but the digital ones are nice 💕💕
