Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

@NSx yep it really can happen at any time. I was giving up hope. We didn’t dtd every day in fertile week so definitely don’t worry if you skip days. I always split my messages as forget some things 😂

@pomdownunder1 I usually start spotting 9/10dpo so there’s definitely hope for you too.

@allgoodthings84 we DTD cd 11,12,14&15 and ovulated cd15 so hopefully that’s enough, don’t know if I can be bothered DTD today 😂 I’m 1dpo so not sure if there’s much point.
I was hoping to be pregnant before my due date which is 08/11 but honestly I’ve lost hope, I had a cry to my partner about it last night xx

@NSx we didn’t dtd day after ovulation this cycle either as didn’t see the point and couldn’t be bothered. I got my peak early morning and couldn’t dtd until after 11pm day after ovulation so guessed it would probably be too late. That’s definitely enough! We dtd 4 times in the fertile time too.

@NSx i had a break down too just before my tests. It’s so emotionally draining and hard. I really really hope you get your bfp this cycle. When will you test?

Congrats @allgoodthings84 !!! Amazing news!!! That’s def a good line — from being on forums, I think we get lulled into thinking it’s common to get blazing positives early, but if you look at the stats here, faint positives are the most common at 12DPO!! How are you doing? Did you feel any different this cycle?

@NSx just catching up as not been here for a few days, but I have done a fertility reading. I was predicted May/June which didn’t come true, unless it’s next year bahh 😞 have you done one?

@allgoodthings84 yea I will see how we feel tonight, I got my peak around 3pm on 14th. So probably ovulated yesterday afternoonish, so by the time I get home after work it’s probably too late 🤣 …
I don’t know if I will test tbh, with my pregnancy in feb I tested 10Dpo and got a nice line, I also had symptoms - so unless I get any signs then I probably won’t test unless AF doesn’t show on 27th… I’ve been pretty bang on with my AF the last few months she’s never late — it would be an absolute miracle to get my BFP this month, but I’m preparing myself mentally for the worst I’ll be honest 😭

@pixiecircle yes I have and she said I would have a healthy baby girl, and conceive 23rd March 2023…. So honestly it’s a million light years away 😂😅 so I don’t know if I trust it or if she’s bang on and this isn’t happening for me anytime soon really

@NSx I didn’t really have any symptoms apart from that weird stitch pain one afternoon/evening. Other than that I felt exactly the same as I do before AF. Twinges and slightly sore nipples. I’ve got no cramps at all now just the boobs (they are definitely a bit firmer too so winning 😂) and I do feel a bit nauseous but not sure if in my head. I gagged when brushing my teeth this morning and was nearly sick.

@pixiecircle i think it was because my daughters was blazing but I was nearly 7 weeks 😂. I had some weird stitch like pain that went round to my back (felt like sciatica in my back) on one day but can’t remember which day as I try to not symptom spot. Apart from that felt the same as normal pre AF with slightly sore boobs and twinges but the stronger AF cramps never came and my 9/10dpo spotting didn’t come although I did spot a bit 11dpo but only on one toilet trip ha ha

Latw waking up due to my covod booster, but first thing I did was come here to see the line I knew would be there @allgoodthings84 !! Honestly, that line is perfect for 12dpo, do not worry! I'm so pleased for you! I had the weird stitch pain with my son, and reckon that was the blastocyst digging itself in 😁

@LucyFraser1981 I’m 14dpo now that why it worries me a bit but the cheapie is darker than the one I done on 12dpo so I’m hoping. I’m going to get a frer later to do in morning

@LucyFraser1981 how are you feeling after your booster? There must have been something in the stitch pain then 😊

@allgoodthings84 i had bad constipation, cramps and boobs were sore, but first thing I noticed was the constipation… so if I get that again I may test but other than that I won’t be testing unless AF doesn’t show.
time will tell I suppose 🤍 just need to try and keep my mental health in check as these few weeks have been very hard on me

@allgoodthings84 your line on the 12dpo was same as mine, those lines on your ones today are about right for 14dpo, but it varies massively. I bet you the FRER line will be darker. Your eggo, my dear, is definitely preggo! 🥳

Actually way better than the one last year. Got VERY achey arms, even the one that wasn't injected, feel like I've done a million reps with some heavy dumbells 😅 but after a slight temperature yesterday early evening, I'm totally normal. Didn't even affect my bbt this morning (which is slightly above where it was on Wednesday morning, so I'm happy as it's up nice and high 😁)

@NSx ooo I’m not constipated but then again (tmi sorry) I only got every 3 days or so anyway (sometimes 4!) I’ve been checked out it’s just my normal lol. 💕 I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you. It happened for me when I had given up hope. It would be much more emotionally easier if we knew for sure what’s going on

@LucyFraser1981 I’m glad you think it looks normal for 14dpo. I really hope it sticks. I’m glad you’re not feeling as bad as previous ones. Sore arms are hard work though. What dpo are you now?

Had to take paracetamol, too achey and sore! Only 6dpo, 7dpo tomorrow and got my 21bloods at midday 😬🤞

@allgoodthings84 I'm doing good thanks. 10 weeks now. Counting down the days to the scan in 2 1/2 weeks. Been feeling pretty tired and hungover like but feel like it's easing up a bit this week now thankfully

Blood test results from my fertility consultation last week all look good, TSH is 0.78, AMH is 14.4 which is at the higher end of normal for my age, so that's good. She suggested getting a FBC done again as my platelets and WBC were slightly raised, so could just indicate I was fighting a cold?
Everything else was fine, I asked if all being well with my partner's sperm analysis, in theory we should be able to conceive naturally and she said yes, nothing in the tests indicate a problem. Definitely felt like she was trying to get me to book in for follow up appointment and to discuss IVF, even though I said we wouldn't be in a position to go down IVF route for another year as would need to wait for my partner's house to sell, but she didn't seem to listen and just said at the follow up they'd discuss if that would be feasible or if we should just start now. We literally couldn't do anything for a year as there is NO MONEY. So I just agreed and mmm hmmmmed until the conversation was over 🙄 😅

So I'm just going to hope that today's day21 shows I've ovulated, which I'd be surprised if it doesn't as my chart has such a clear shift its ridiculous!

So then based on partner's sperm analysis from three years ago, when he was smoking and also drinking more (no longer smoking for over 2 months, massively cut down on alcohol/switched to very low alcohol last week) I'm hoping that actually there's nothing getting in the way of conception, just the fact of my age 🤷‍♀️

@LucyFraser1981 thats great news! Why would you pay for ivf right now even if you had the money when you had just been told there doesn’t seem to be any reason that you couldn’t conceive naturally. It’s a lot to go through when you could do it naturally. Age doesn’t matter so much if all of the results are good surely. It’s age that would make the results abnormal?

I have got the frers. Was going to this morning but my daughter woke me up by poking me so didn’t get chance to. Normally I’m dragging her out of bed on a school day but she’s excited about today as half term next week. I’m not sure whether it’s better to take one after a hold this evening or wait until tomorrow morning?

I really got the impression she wasn't listening to me about the IVF thing. I get that the success rate declines the longer you wait, but we literally have no choice but to wait 🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😅 if its not happened naturally within the next 10 months then we'll look at IVF, but until October next year we just don't have any money, which she clearly just didn't take on board 🙄

@LucyFraser1981 exactly, if you haven’t got it you haven’t got it. You’ve tried telling her. It’s a bit concerning she’s not listening to you. You have your 21 day bloods today don’t you? I hope those go well and once you have those results on Monday/Tuesday you can feel less worried. I’ll try for a good hold and go for it early evening just not sure how much of a hold as I keep needing to pee 😂 but probably because I’m thirsty so drinking a lot of water. Going to stop drinking around 2.15 and see what happens. Every time I test I’m scared
