Hi everyone ☺️

I am a bit eager with this thread, I've just started my dreaded period (feel a little glum to be honest!) and I have been ovulating quite late, so if by a miracle I am successful this month I would be due end of may/early June. I have been dipping in and out of these threads and found them fantastic support so I hope you don't mind me carrying on the trend!

I am going into cycle 4, I am 31 and were trying for our first πŸ‘ΆπŸ»I suffered a chemical pregnancy recently and I feel SO ready to become pregnant, I want this so badly, as I am sure you all do too!

I was trawling through some old threads and found these facts that I found useful , feel free to read if you like πŸ˜™

  1. 80% of couples having regular sex (2/3 times a week) with no issues will fall pregnant in a year.
  2. 90% of couples having regular sex with no issues will fall pregnant in two years.
3.Each cycle you have approx 20% chance of falling pregnant. 4.The egg only lives for 24 hours so very small window to fertilise it 5.Decent sperm can live up to 5 days inside you so good to have sex before you think you ovulate as well as after. 6.If using ovulation testing the test picks up on Lh surge which often happens after the egg has been released. 7.Most NHS CCG will not investigate fertility problems until you have been having regular unprotected sex for over a year and some places insists for two years. 8.If you track your Basel body temperature it can give you a good indication of when you ovulate to get to know your cycles.
  1. Some types of lube can damage sperm be careful what you are using. (We are using preseed but using it like normal lube, not inserting it prior!)

Wishing you all the luck in world for this cycle 🀞🀞🀞🀞🀞

@ldshz could it be implantation bleeding? It's around the right time for it to be that. Fingers crossed for you! It's month 1 for us too πŸ™ŒπŸΌ x

winningeasy · 12/09/2022 15:00

@HopingForBaby2 yeah no harm in testing lots. Have you noticed any EWCM?

HopingForBaby2 · 12/09/2022 15:03

@winningeasy I did notice a little bit yesterday. And a few niggly pinching pains on my left side, but usually I get them much more so I think it's just my body getting ready. We DTD last night and will every other day x

winningeasy · 12/09/2022 15:03

@HopingForBaby2 brill, baby dust to you. Also hoping for DC2 x

HopingForBaby2 · 12/09/2022 15:06

@winningeasy thank you. You too ✨ x

Mummyme87 · 12/09/2022 15:13

@HopingForBaby2 keep testing. You get little mini surges, the big one will hopefully come soon

ldshz · 12/09/2022 15:13

@HopingForBaby2 i have everything crossed but don’t want to get my hopes up too much! Also have no idea what implantation bleeding is like so no idea whether I’ve just come on early or not… why is this so hard?!?

NSx · 12/09/2022 15:15

@HopingForBaby2 hiya, I normally test a few times when it starts to rise, it helps for me to figure out if I’m peaking or not.
I’ve attached my chart - I’m currently still testing to see it go back down after my peak - hope this helps

@NSx that's really helpful, thank you!

Tophy124 · 12/09/2022 17:59

When would implantation usually happen? And also, when do you test?

yes yes I swore I wouldn’t test 🀣🀣

Tophy124 · 12/09/2022 18:39

@Mummyme87 So sorry to hear that. I hate when people aren’t rewarded for the hard work they put in. My midwives saved my life (and kept my son safe) and got me through a really traumatic labour and they managed to keep my husbands spirits up too. I hated my labour but loved the midwives I had.

The postnatal ward was tough during lockdown, but so clearly due to overworked and not enough staff and nothing to do with the actual wonderful women who worked there. They were just on their knees and the cracks were showing (I gave birth in 2020 so Covid protocols were full swing). It really broke my heart to hear how many of them say they didn’t enjoy their jobs anymore. To hear you’re having to fight for pay for working overtime makes me feel sick. I’m so sorry!

Tophy124 · 12/09/2022 18:40

for me implantation bleeding was like when your AF is very first starting and it’s very very light and it never ever progressed. I had cramps too but nothing else.

ldshz · 12/09/2022 19:50

@Tophy124 thats exactly what it’s like, first day of AF but hasn’t got any heavier yet so I have got everything crossed! Might be tmi but started about 11 this morning and thought oh here we go so got a tampon out but when I changed it there was basically nothing on it and nothing when I wipe

ldshz · 12/09/2022 19:51

Should have said also had cramps for the last couple of days but not as intense as AF cramps

Tophy124 · 12/09/2022 20:04

Fingers crossed!! Xx

BethSuz27 · 12/09/2022 20:09

Been at work all day and notifies nothing apart from the nausea on the way into work and the lower back ache but think that’s because I’ve been at work, 10dpo now feeling like I’m counting myself out

Sparklythings1 · 12/09/2022 20:18

@Mummyme87 what pram are you eyeing up? I feel like when I quit my job a pram saleswoman is what I should be, I was the same the last time, did a ridiculous amount of research into them πŸ™ˆ

@HopingForBaby2 yeah I’d say you’ll peak in a couple of days, everyone is different but when I was analysing mine (for the 50th time) I noticed they go up to 0.3/0.4 then go over 0.5 for a day then the next day is usually the peak. I do think occasionally depending on light/background etc the premom app can decide one peak is higher than the other when it looks like the other way round to me from when I conceived my little boy. It gives you a rough idea when it’s peaked though at least

Mummyme87 · 12/09/2022 20:35

@Sparklythings1 I had a bugaboo chameleon 3 for first two babies, this time I want an Uppababy Vista, although feel I should go for a Cruz based on cost

NSx · 12/09/2022 20:50

Hey ladies 🀍
just checking in. With the oldies and the newbies 😊✨
how’s everyone getting on? What part of your cycle ? Is anyone getting close to testing?
Too many messages above to try keep up with πŸ˜‚
hope you’re all well πŸ’•
I’m hoping to ovulate tomorrow - so will be starting my TWW soon 🀞

Sparklythings1 · 12/09/2022 21:30

@Mummyme87 I see it a lot on the mbeans YouTube channel.. I have some weird obsession with watching pram videos πŸ™ˆ used to be obsessed with a woman called baby lady who has a YouTube channel and would just go round her show room telling you about different prams πŸ˜‚ the vista looks nice, seems v popular in America (the mbeans guy is American). Kind of similar in idea to the silver cross wave I think from what I’ve seen! I so regret not getting a single that could go to a double last time, just didn’t think of anything beyond getting the initial child out my body safely πŸ˜‚

Mummyme87 · 12/09/2022 22:13

@Sparklythings1 yeah I have no interest in ever using a double buggy, ever!! It’s a very popular pram, and has been for a long time. It’s got fab basket space!

Cm078 · 12/09/2022 22:26

@NSx

Hey! So im CD 18. DTD CD 7,9,12,14 and... 5 minutes ago πŸ˜‚
No idea when ovulation is this time round as I've sworn to myself i won't be obsessing this time around, i did have ewcm on day 14 though. None since!
How are you getting on?

Noggiepie92 · 12/09/2022 23:10

@NSx hi! How you doing? 😊 excited to be in your FW? I
I'm 12DPO and got some spotting so not feeling optimistic!! It started last night but hasn't gotten heavier but we'll see!

FieldView · 12/09/2022 23:33

@NSx got my static smiley on cb digi yesterday, so ovulation day today(ish) - just heading into the tww! Aside from a bit more bd-ing over the next couple of days, not much more I can do this cycle apart from wait and see...

Tophy124 · 12/09/2022 23:38

@NSx Hi! I’m cd 21 and PMS has hit me hard! So I’m expecting AF to show up in a week
