TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@Hannargh it didn't affect me the first time either so weird but this time ovulation was delayed which I assume AF will be too!

Yeah Premom seems great and I use easy@home OPK's so makes it so much easier x

Wow I've missed on lots of chat ready haha.

When I had Covid my ovulation was 3 days late but AF still came at the exact time it was due. So that may happen to you too? Time will tell I guess.

I know what you all mean about feeling better when you're tracking and feeling in control of being in the know. It helps keep me sane when I can say to myself that X,Y and Z is happening so I could be experiencing that and not pg etc... but I still always hope for pg lol. I reckon give me a week and I'll be chomping at the bit to test lol xx

First month TTC here too. Not using temperatures/sticks etc (yet) but think I ovulated today, making tomorrow 1DPO. Great to have people on similar journeys.

Thanks ladies, everything crossed for us all!

My app keeps pushing my ovulation day forward and now the estimate is Wednesday 3rd. DH and I are getting tired now 😅

@Flowersflowers121 I'm good thanks ❤️ I'm 3dpo today as well. Still feeling pretty chilled. The days are going by reasonably quickly. I hope it stays that way and I don't start getting obsessive again haha.

@Nypie aww myself and lots of us are due on the 13th too. I'm going to try and hold out until then as I'll only be 10dpo... but unless it's likely that I would implant early enough to pick up a positive at 10dpo? Dunno lol. Just trying to stay chilled at the mo haha xx

Anybody testing this week! I’m getting so impatient!! I’m 8DPO and I think I’m going to test with a FRER on 10DPO! 2 more sleeps to go!

@TheCakeIsALie18 Ahh thats so exciting someone hopefully someones on this thread will be testing positive in 2 weeks! I guess it all depends some peopoe test positive on 7 days some 12. I've bought the tests for our first cycle so I figure I might as well use them though I know I'll drive myself crazy either way!

@LorrenK I don't blame you I'll be testing on saturday ...🤞🤞🤞hope the days fly for you!

I'm going to try and hold out until the 14th to test as I drove myself a bit loopy with early testing last month. If it's a bfp it should be a strong positive by then 🤞🏻 Anyone feeling any early symptoms??

@Maxime34 @Nypie I'm also due by 13th August, so hoping to hold out until maybe 15th if AF doesn't arrive before then. Currently 1DPO and found myself symptom spotting last cycle, so hoping to be a little more relaxed this time.

Girls I had a weak moment and caved!!! It was like I was a woman posessed, think I may be abit of a POAS addict, so I used my one and only FRER ( so stupid) and I can see the FAINTEST second line ahhhh

@TheCakeIsALie18 its SO faint the camera won’t pick it up! I have tried, could be an indent !! I can only see it if I hold it up to the natural light. Will test tomorrow and update 😬

From what I've read fertilisation can happen from day 1 to to day 5 and implantation from day 5 to day 10 so if you implant early it is possible to have early symptoms from around 6dpo. I'm currently 4dpo and have had the sorest nipples since 1dpo which I don't usually get until 7 to 12 dpo, I was just reading an interesting article about progesterone (the hormone responsible for these symptoms) and how its supposed to peak around 8dpo for healthy implantation I really hope my body hasn't decided to do this early!

Very happy to have TTC quadruplets to get me through 😂😂
