TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

Yeah only 8dpo... I've just done FRER. Totally expecting it to show negative so that will be fine. It's 5-6 days out from AF due so I'll test daily now until it shows... or doesn't... xx

@xttcbabyno1x I feel fine in myself. Just got the sneezes and itchy nose still, had that metallic taste this morning and now have just come out the gym and have what feels like a stretching feeling down really low... like on my pubic bone going from the inside of one hip straight across to the other. Genuinely it's only the metallic taste that has me wondering. 🤞🏻 for us all ❤️

Will defo keep you all posted. I know that even if I am it's way too early for BFP so I'll just do one cheapie strip a day until AF due and if haven't had BFP then will do another FRER xx

Are you ladies avoiding coffee in the tww? Not sure how strict I should be really. With my first I knew I was pregnant really in the tww so I just didn’t have any. Now I’m not sure if I should be cutting it out?!

@MumofAlf you can still have 1-2 small cups a day when. Because I train I use a s cup of coffee as my preworkout but the rest of the time I drink decaff tea and coffee xx

I crumbled today and took a test lol, 8dpo but only just took it at 6pm 😂 2 hour hold , will try again tomorrow !

@xttcbabyno1x so tempting isn’t it!! Fingers crossed for you for morning! It’s this your first cycle, can’t remember what you said before?

@MumofAlf I did just take a test, but it's late in the day and only 8dpo! First cycle tracking but realistically more our 4th without protection xx

@xttcbabyno1x maybe tomorrow morning the test will pick up more hcg and give you that positive! As you say, can keep testing as it’s still early days. I’m finding the days are dragging and I’m only 3DPO 🤣

Can I join? I am 8 dpo as well and have the weird cold/hay fever symptoms. No other symptoms.

This is our 1st cycle of trying. I have an almost 3 year old and fell quickly with them so fingers crossed. I am a bit daunted about going back to the newborn stage so I won’t be devastated if it doesn’t happen on this cycle although I would love an April baby.

@xttcbabyno1x well done on holding out as long as possible. How many dpo are you again? I'm going to test again tomorrow.

I've had the stretching feeling most of the day today. Not to mention come 2-3pm every day I'm on my knees ready to sleep. Had a 2 hour nap and woke up ready for another 2 hour nap 🤣 xx

@xttcbabyno1x aha the first to crumble! I'm not trying to get hopes up or anything but I feel like I can see a really really faint line - probably an indent or just the light? But I guess we will see if it's just my eyes causing havoc!

Hi @YellsiBabs so interesting you have hay-fever symptoms - some of the ladies on here seem to have the same!

6 or 7DPO today for me - not much to say. Some mild aches and a nice temp dip and a proper rise today but otherwise 🤷‍♀️

I'm good. Feel like I'm waiting for time to pass and keep rechecking my bbt charts. Oddly nothing changed since my morning temp reading?? 🤪
A few odd aches but I had them last month (when I wouldn't normally notice anything) and nothing came of it, so carefully ignoring them.

Doing odd jobs round my parents house this week so hoping to stay busy - no access to tests until the weekend when I'm home again.

@Hannargh hahaha this is the first month I've tracked BBT , how's yours looking? I only started tracking the day of my peak so I'm not actually sure what any of it means yet !! Fingers crossed for you 🤩🤩 hopefully it's a good month for all of us xx

I'm going to test again in the morning. I'm still sneezing annnnd... (sorry for tmi) but the amount of wind I'm passing is stupid... not to mention the smell. I'm sorry this is so unusual lol. Nothing different about my diet haha. Fingers crossed for us alllllll xx

@xttcbabyno1x ooh I love a good chart. Here's mine so far - I started temping at the end of May, so I've also got June if you want to see how that looked.
Premom has me at 6DPO as they took the day my temp started rising again after ov (a fun double dip this time!)

Hoping my temps stay up for the next few days - last month they started dropping 2 days before AF but they may go rogue this time.

Hey all nice to see a busy thread! I did my test this morning the starkest of BFNs so I'm trying to see my symptoms as af from now on, my temp is higher than ever (when not sick) so I'll be interested to see what it is tomorrow. Using my last test on wednesday bough some very spenny vitamins as I think I might have a progesterone problem.
