TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@xttcbabyno1x nice to hear from you again. How many weeks are you now? Hope the urine infection clears up soon. I've never had the misfortune of having one is this a common pregnancy thing to look forward to. 😂

AF has just arrived so that excitement was short lived 😂onto the next month!

@ttcfirstbaby90 according to LMP I am now 9+2 ☺️ yes I've heard this !! The doctor was lovely gave me some amoxicillin and hopefully it should clear up in the next few days! How are you doing ?

@xttcbabyno1x ohh it's so excited. A few blokes at work are having babies or should i say their wives are and I can't help but talk about them and get excited haha. They must think I'm crazy.
A bloke also had triples in my department I can't even have 1 haha.
I'm going okay thank you. I'm just starting on cycle number 3. CD8 of 35 haha. Really hoping third time lucky. Will be a while before I know though. Why does time drag when you're waiting for something. 😂 first cycle trying opks and I started temping half way through last cycle don't feel like half way through really helped. Me and OH dtd fairly often anyway, usually every other day at least so I'm not sure ovulation tracking will help so much.

Hi ladies! There's not much going on here at the moment - AF was due today but has yet to make an appearance. I have maybe the same kind of shadow on a test as @SLK1990 but trying not to get my hopes up. Assuming the B6 did its job and gave me a longer LP when I didn't need it this time around 😅
I feel your pain on the long cycles @ttcfirstbaby90 - today CD33 and for the past few months they've been 32 days.
I secretly want an autumn baby, so maybe this is part of the plan to make us wait a few more months (although I won't be complaining if we get one sooner!).

Hey Ladies AF arrived 2 days late after a very misleading test and some strange symptoms and spoting. Ahh it is hard and that was only the 2nd cycle 😂😂. I'm now cycle 3 cd2 doing much better then I was when AF came 1st cycle so thats positive. Cutting out alcohol this cycle for my mental health as well and taking a few more supplements. 3rd times a charm 🤞🤞🤞

So sorry a similar thing happened to you at @SLK1990 could definitely see that line, how strange. @Hannargh really hope you get your BFP we need some positive news here.

@Nypie ahhh sorry AF arrived, how frustrating after your test. Hopefully the supplements and less alcohol will get and 3rd time will be the one!
@Hannargh did Af arrive today? Are you going to test again today or just wait it out?
@eleveneleven11 what are you plans? I’m thinking period is due Saturday or Sunday, I’ve decided not to test this cycle until the weekend. Currently poorly, again! Not as bad as last time but very nauseous, exhausted, bad bowels 😩 I’m glad it’s not DtD time as there is no way I’d be up for that!
@ttcfirstbaby90 and @SLK1990 good luck with this cycle! Change in season so let’s all hope for a change in circumstances!

I definitely recommend temping and OPKs combined - that's what we did and it was nice to see how quickly I'd ovulated! I ovulated within 12 hours of the peak so it's really helpful!

We only DTD twice during my fertile period which was day of peak and two days before ! Xx

@Shleepymummy i'm definitely going to test saturday morning - i think my period is due sunday. these last few days have felt soooooo slow!

Good morning everyone! I took a frer this morning (my app is telling me Im 10dpo) - I must admit there is a faint line but I had indents on frer before so Im not keeping my hopes up quite yet, I can see the line (its thin like a hairline) in direct light but when looking at the test its so faint I cant tell if its pink or grey. Surely it cant be positive... I will test tomorrow again and let you know the outcome!

My bbt is still elevated and not dropping but Im still 2-3 days away from my predicted period, my period is usually 32-33 days and Im on day 30 today so bbt is normal for this time of my LP. I have my usual symptoms like sore boobs, but I also have two unusual symptoms that I never had before - lower back pain since ovulation date, its been killing me and even though I work out the pain doesnt go away. And the other one is that I have been having terrible sleep in the last two weeks - Im dreaming constantly, and Im waking up 3-4 times every night needing to pee all the time, I ever, ever had this happening to me before so Im worrying about potential infection? Its only during the night, during the day Im finel, I dont go to the wc more than usual for me. But nights are true nightmare at the moment.

@eleveneleven11 i thought about it but I think too early for morning sickness type nausea, I got it with my first at 5 weeks and that was early. Diarrhoea doesn’t really fit either. So thinking I have some small bug that isn’t making me Chuck up like last time but my tummy certainly isn’t happy either. Making me so down in the dumps, no energy to do anything, house is a state which makes me more down in the dumps and not being much fun for DD who wants constant attention. Moannnnnnn!

@JoanHants this sounds pretty promising! everything crossed for you! definitely keep testing and let us know the outcome. hoping that faint line gets darker.

@Shleepymummy oh bless you, really feel for you as sick bugs are the absolute worse. i cant imagine trying to handle that AND parent at the same time! sending you lots of well wishes and hopefully it passes ASAP.
yeah im counting down the days to test! not that i have had any sort of indication that it could be a positive but i'm remaining hopeful. i've been so much more relaxed this TTW, definitely putting it down to having this thread as an outlet :)

@Nypie I'm so sorry. It's so upsetting and disappointing. I was so angry with the world when AF arrived the 2nd cycle. Hopefully this is our month for June babies. Ahh the thought of being 9 months pregnant in the hot summer months. 😫 But it would be worth it in the end.

Ooh gonna start my OPKs tomorrow morning. Gives me something else to focus on. It's probably a bit early for me to do the OPKs on CD10 but I don't want to miss it and just think what the heck.

The pre-ovulation days of your cycle seem to fly by in comparison to the 2-3WW.

Aw thanks @Shleepymummy the female body is very frustrating but one day I'll get there. You sound like you might be having some symptoms 🤞🤞🤞 for the weekend

@eleveneleven11 I'm alright thanks 🥰🥰was feeling very anxious but its passing. So exciting theres a few tests coming up glad you're feeling nice and calm hopefully you'll be the bearer of some good news!

@ttcfirstbaby90 aw thank you love it does suck balls, I'm just genuinely feeling happy when it happens to other people but in the back of my head when my mum gets excited about her future grand kids or my partner talks about or plays with little ones I can't help but wonder if it's me thats the problem. So ridiculous its only the 3rd month. What cycle are you on now? Haha I feel exactly the same I used be like not on this day and hope its a girl, mate I just hope it's a baby come when you want! Is it fertile week for you?

Hi everyone! Pretty busy at work so taking my mind off things at the moment. And by things, I mean nothing! Period 2 days late, didn't have time to test this morning, but nothing notable on Wednesday. May test again tomorrow but I may just wait it out as I think AF must be coming soon - my temp has started dipping so I guess I'm having a longer LP this time (which is what I'd wanted anyway, so obv I'm disappointed but not too worried about things).

I'm sure I'll be following you soon @Nypie and @SLK1990 - sorry AF arrived for you both but onwards and upwards!

Morning all. I wasn’t going to test and just wait for period but my nausea has just been getting worse so decided to test to rule stuff out. What do we think? This is a cheap supermarket test.
I think positive?!

@Nypie I'm on cycle 3 now like you. I'm the same I automatically assume it's something wrong with me rather than my oh. It's very upsetting but 20% chance a cycle is so low really I keep telling myself to stay positive and not worry yet but if I get past 6 cycles I know I'm going to struggle emotionally because I've wanted this for so long. Fertile weeks looking like this time next week when I'm away on a camping holiday so we'll see what happens. I don't think I'm gonna drink at all this cycle either. Me and OH don't drink much anyway and you think people get pregnant drunk all the time hah. But I'd rather not risk it can't remember last time I was drunk to be honest. 😂 I'm such a boring 31 year old.

This was my 4th cycle of trying so keep at it! It’s actually super rare I think to get it first go.

@ttcfirstbaby90 I've been reading a book that says its normal up to year for those who don't know their cycle but trackers like us who are having sex on the right dates should kick up a fuss after 6 months which I will definitely be doing . It can be so tough but were in it together and we dont have to suffer in silence and that's the nice thing. But I know what you mean anout wanting it for so long, I was sure I'd have about 3 by now 😂😂 I dont even have an amazing carreer as an excuse! Ahh I'm such a drinker its gonna be a struggle and I know so many people who were drunk out their heads before getting their positives but if it means a baby I'll join you in the boring club 30 ;)
