TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@pugsB i'm about to turn 30 in about a week and a half, so almost in the 30 club! we were meant to get married in 2020 and i think we would have started trying after that but our wedding was moved to may 2022 and we decided to wait until after that. but it did mean that by the time that rolled round we were desssssperate!

How many dpos are you both?

I dont think this is my month though, my tem has dipped .2 to 36.93 and though it's a tiny bit high for the day before AF I once had 36.9 the day before so looks like shes on her way ahhh damn you clear blue.

@Nypie have you got any other tests you can do?

about 6/7 dpo today.. not long to go! im feeling hopeful this cycle, maybe because i'm feeling a bit more relaxed about everything. my mum bought me a beautiful wall hanging for the future nursery yesterday to manifest this baby 🤣

@Nypie oh no. The downside of temping is starting to see things happen. But hoping it goes back up for you 🤞

I'm 9DPO today and have no idea what's going on. Sometimes I'm feeling something? And the rest of the time I'm feeling less than I've felt on any other cycle at this time. So I have really no idea and my temps are technically rising on average but in the most weird zig zag pattern. Have attached - can't find anything similar and no idea what's going on. Literally no clue.

@eleveneleven11 I only have a digital and I'm not going to waste that! I've got some FRERS coming. Aw that is lovely my mum has 2 of my kids on her vision board...I dont even have them on mine, maybe thats where I'm going wrong! Soo hopeful for you, keep those stress levels nice and low.

@Hannargh thank you babe but I'm feeling out, had some brown pink spotting. Had another look at my chart its posible that I ovulated 1 to days later which would mean AF may be due Tuesday or Wednesday so my plan is to test 2moro if AF doesn't arrive and if it's negative I'll have to wait it out.

Cycles are so strange arent they! Have you been taken supplements or doing something different. I have sees a few charts that are high variation like that, that have turned ing bfps! Really hope this is your!!

@Nypie yeah I've been taking B6 since ovulation so it may be doing something funny. I've been looking for erratic temp charts on fertility friend and, as usual, it could go either way - I'll guess I'll find out in a few days!

Hey @Hannargh never tested Af didn't show will test 2moro if shes still away maybe its stress though I thought that only affected the first phase of thr cycle. When do you think you'll test?

morning all! how is the TWW going for everyone? anyone noticing any symptoms or fallen into the trap of obsessively symptom spotting like me?

Hey @Nypie and @eleveneleven11 - I tested this morning and nothing to show at 11DPO. AF due tomorrow, so I'm assuming I'm out and ready to move on to next cycle. How are you both doing? Any update?

9DPO here (or 8dpo according to my app), I may or may not test on Thursday. At this stage of the month I have all the usual pms symptoms - sore boobs, feeling bloated, I did have quite a bit of cramping over the last few days and back pain but today I feel much better. I`m not keeping my hopes up but we will see! My bbt is still high so that at least is a good sign.

Hi @Hannargh sorry to hear about your negative tests. I guess just gota wait for period and then you’ll defo know. How you feeling?
@eleveneleven11 are you going to test soon or wait it out?
@Nypie fingers crossed for you that test is positive today.
I had a 21 day blood test to see if my progesterone level indicates ovulation. Results suggest I did ovulate as progesterone level within the range it should be. So I’m going to wait for my period on Saturday and if it doesn’t arrive I’ll test but I don’t feel any symptoms.

@Hannargh sorry about the negative :( are you feeling ok about it?

@Shleepymummy im going to test on saturday morning for sure. my period is now predicted for sunday but i have alcohol-centric plans saturday night so want to go into that hopefully knowing either way! good news about your blood test results :) i don't think i'm feeling any symptoms either. definitely nothing obvious x

I feel left out being completely out of cycle to you all. Haha. AF has done one. Starting opks on Friday which I hope doesn't end up stressing me out.

I'm really hoping we still see some BFPs.

How long are everyone's cycles mine are 35-36 days. Sooooo long since I came off the pill in 2020.

My first nonbiological baby... (dog) was attacked today by some stupid terrier that escaped its garden. I was so angry. My dog was just like "what's going on?" as it ran to bite his neck. Got in between them and lifted my dog as high as I could at 5ft3 and the bloody thing wouldn't give up kept jumping up at him and got his tail. Thankfully he's okay just a bit of a cut I think as there was a fair amount of blood.

Anyone else found that since starting ttc events keep on happening that make you stress/worry. I had a bereavement the first month ttc. Trying to help my mum with money problems and a poorly dog last month. And now this. Oh and adding to this the OH moaning about planning a holiday abroad next year when I could potentially be 8-9 months pregnant. 😂 if I don't laugh I'll cry.

@ttcfirstbaby90 ahh a fresh cycle! yes, try and relax and stay optimistic. :)

my cycles are around 30 days pretty consistently. i came off the contraceptive patch in December 2021.

omg your poor dog! i read that whilst my little fur baby was snoring away snuggled up next to me. give him a big cuddle from me, hope he's ok :( that must have been so traumatic.
really sorry to hear that you've had a lot on your plate. bad things come in 3s so that's hopefully your bad luck done and dusted! xx

This cycle I'm fortunate to not be dealing with work during ovulation so hopefully that helps.

Ladies! Need some help, definitely thought I was out this month but now I'm just confused.

At 12 dpo I had some brown spotting so thought AF was coming, had a day of just wiping and nothing in a pad. Even logged it in my app that AF started I was so sure. Then it stopped and I've had nothing since then except the occasional very slight tinge of brown when wiping.

I'm now 15dpo and today had the squintiest of lines on a cheapy test, even my husband can see it so I know there is something but at this stage should it not be a bit darker than a squinter? You have to properly look in natural light to see it.

I'm giving myself today for AF to come and tomorrow will due a clear blue as looking for lines is doing my head in.

I'm thinking the line should be clearer to see if I was actually pregnant at this stage?

@SLK1990 oh my gosh I can see it. Woohoo. 🥳🥳
Could it have just been implantation bleeding with it being so light.
As for whether it should be darker by now. Maybe you just implanted a bit late and your hcg is still building.
It sounds hopeful to me to be honest.
Let us know when you take another test. 😬

@SLK1990 Also I just had a look back at OPs thecakeisalies photo of a cheapy at 15 dpo and it was still pretty faint. Take a look back at the photo with all the tests for comparison.

@ttcfirstbaby90 I'm glad someone else can see it cause I thought I was going mad with line eyes 😂

I'm going to do a clear blue with pregnant/not pregnant tomorrow morning if AF stays away until then. At least it will give me a yes or no answer without analysing a stick!

@ttcfirstbaby90 oh yes you are right, just had a look! Hers is around 16dpo when it's easier to see the line. That gives me a bit more hope, I'll cross my fingers for tomorrows test!

I'm 15dpo, sort of expecting a better line than that at this stage so prepared for this not to be my month!

@SLK1990 you definitely could've implanted at 12dpo :) remember implantation happens 6-12dpo ! I implanted closer to 6dpo but it's very possible to implant later which would mean a later positive 😍 xxx
