I don’t know what I’m doing with the emojis this month. Got the star signs in there though!

Cycle 10 for me 😀

Best of luck to everyone!

@Londonlady22 Hello 😊Totally get the anxiety of bbt not going up - I had similar a couple of days ago as had ovulated cd15 last month and was not the same this cycle. The app seems to think I ovulated cd17 and it was only really 3/4 days after that the temp looked any higher than the fluctuations in my follicular phase. Hopefully a rise in the next day or so will confirm it for you!

NatGee · 24/08/2022 17:14

@Londonlady22 from looking at your chart im finding it hard to pinpoint ovulation except for CD11-13 where your temp dipped and then shot right up. It wouldn't have happened then cos you had the dark lines Monday, which was CD17 I believe. Are your cycles usually 34 days? if so then CD17/18 would make sense. also you had sex during what could have been your fertile window so that could be enough. Sorry I can't help more. let's see if your bbt solves the mystery in the next few days

Londonlady22 · 24/08/2022 17:29

@NatGee yeah the chart doesn’t pinpoint anything really, just that my temp is still low, fingers crossed for a rise tomorrow. My cycles can range between 27 and 33 days so that’s abit annoying. If I had a firm positive OPK I would feel better about it but because I potentially missed it or maybe it didn’t even peak I feel abit anxious about it. 🀞for a rise tomorrow.

Londonlady22 · 24/08/2022 17:32

@newgirl From my obsessive googling this morning it says some people don’t see a rise sometimes for up to 3 days post ovulation. Which makes O day a little harder to pin point…. Ahhh this TTC malarky is abit of a mind game isn’t it, praying for a rise tomorrow πŸ€žπŸ™

NatGee · 24/08/2022 17:39

@Londonlady22 in the meantime, keep BDing! if you can x

Londonlady22 · 24/08/2022 17:43

@NatGee will do! Thanks for advice x

Nypie · 24/08/2022 22:31

@Doodle10 aw yay congrats to you! Hope things progess nicely!

Nichelette · 24/08/2022 22:39

Congratulations @Doodle10 !

Am in TWW now. Have no real inclination either way but have splashed out on one of the clearblue advanced fertility monitors after reading mostly positive reviews (hopefully I won't need it!). The sticks are expensive but if it works shouldn't need loads. I don't want to spend a year trying so I figure it's worth a go.

NSx · 24/08/2022 23:08

@Nichelette may I ask what the difference between the CB fertility monitor is compared to the CB OPK the purple dual hormone one? I’ve been looking online but can’t really see a diff ? πŸ’•

2bm · 25/08/2022 00:18

@EdinburghGirl1 I’ve used ov tests both months and both times I had my peak on day 13 so I do think I ov’d on day 14. Even though I’ve had strong af cramps since Monday, af’s not here yet so made it to a 10 day luteal phase at least.

@Doodle10 congratulations!

CDD1992 · 25/08/2022 06:04

Morning all, 7DPO today. Temp back up after a small dip yesterday. Fingers crossed it stays that way 🀞🏻

EdinburghGirl1 · 25/08/2022 06:41

@2bm that's good you've at least got 10 days. I think they say it needs to be at least that. Fingers crossed for you.

@CDD1992 yay that's good news. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm now 9dpo and not really any symptoms still. Although my OH has said I've seemed different the past few days and more short with him. Does this count as a symptom? πŸ˜‚ no urge to test yet too which is good and will probably wait until Saturday

PopcornForDinner · 25/08/2022 07:00

Hi all! I'm very tentatively joining in. Just two weeks ago, DH and I talked about how we would maybe like to have a fourth baby... and today I am 8dpo and decided to test, and it's a very faint positive. I'm still slightly in denial. Excited, but in denial! I've also had several losses in the past, so I don’t want to get too excited yet - but I'm keeping my fx.

NatGee · 25/08/2022 07:20

@CDD1992 great news, hope it continues that wayπŸ™πŸ½
@Londonlady22 how are you feeling today ?

NatGee · 25/08/2022 07:21

@PopcornForDinner wow congrats on your fourth, that is one house full πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Whyismycatanasshat · 25/08/2022 08:23

From my post yesterday; I’m out this month BFN this morning, I’ve gone back to bed for a little cry as the 3 year olds are for once playing quietly in their rooms. DP is away as usual so I’m letting myself have this cry then I will sort myself out for the children.

Big day out planned for tomorrow and I can’t be bothered with being periody all over the place either!

NSx · 25/08/2022 09:09

@Whyismycatanasshat hi πŸ’• I didn’t see your prior post but I’m sorry you got a BFN today, was this on a FRER? How many dpo are u?
the day out tomorrow might take your mind off things though, so might be a good thing πŸ’•πŸ€ž

Englishgirl9 · 25/08/2022 09:31

Hi, new here but in 2dpo on cycle 3 TTC our second baby. My son is a may 2020 baby, so may again wasn't our preferred month but at this point I just want to be pregnant!

EdinburghGirl1 · 25/08/2022 09:42

@Englishgirl9 hi and welcome. I'm on cycle 3 too and have a May 2017 baby so would also have 2 May babies I'm successful this month (although don't think I will be)

@Whyismycatanasshat sorry to hear you got a bfn. Sometimes you just need a good cry though. Like @NSx said a big day out might actually cheer you up and keep you distracted

Nichelette · 25/08/2022 09:56

@nsx to be honest I don't think there is a huge difference. It just stores the data and tells you when to test etc. Biggest difference I think is it tests for pregnancy too. I got it on vinted so it wasn't much more than buying normal CB sticks, but I have a toddler and work full time so my brain is falling out my ear and I'll take all the helpπŸ™ƒ. Also think my boss is on to me because I'm saving all my holiday like I did last time and I can't keep saving it if nothing happens so anything that can accelerate it am willing to try! I was looking at amazon reviews and there are some good ones of people who have been trying for a bit and fallen quickly, though obviously can't prove it was because of the monitor.

@CDD1992 fingers crossed!

@PopcornForDinner Congratulations πŸŽ‰

@Whyismycatanasshat sorry, it's so hard getting a BFN. Treat yourself to something nice x

@Englishgirl9 Welcome :). Am on cycle 3 here too. We have an April 21 baby so I didn't really want another April one either. Obviously I'm here so I got my wish πŸ˜‚

Babydust99 · 25/08/2022 10:25

Do we need a new thread now? I think it cuts off at 39 or 40 pages?

NSx · 25/08/2022 10:31

@Nichelette ah ok, well good luck keep me posted on ur progress - I can’t justify one as I have half a pack of CB OPK purple , one full unopened one and also an unopened pink pack too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ my OH would kill me knowing how much I’ve spent 😭

Whyismycatanasshat · 25/08/2022 10:50

@nsx 12 or 13 DPO. We’ve had a month off using OPKs as it was just getting too much. But I was pretty sure when I was ovulating etc, can’t ignore the symptoms! We dtd plenty around the time too.

I’m 38 and wondering when to speak to my GP; we had an early miscarriage at the end of May and I was told then that that resets the clock.

Usually a big day out a big group of friends and their children would be a great distraction but all of the children are younger than mine, plus one of the friends has a 3 month old and another is a midwife - so the chat is often about babies and pregnancy and when will anyone have another and at the moment I have horrible feeling of what could have been and jealousy I suppose.

This combined with the fact my periods are horrendous - we’re talking doubling up on protection for the first 48 hours at least. So not ideal being away from home. But it’s the only dates all of us could do!

And now it’s raining and only one of the children are willing to go outside and we really need to go out!

Alice1608 · 25/08/2022 10:51

8DPO feeling bloated, nauseous, constipation and light cramping now and then. This has been for the last 4 days I'm worried I'm making all these symptoms up in my head! Most people that have had BFP have seemed to experience sore breasts in the early days and I don't have that.. πŸ˜‘ still resisting the urge to test! πŸ˜” but wanting to so bad! Xxx
