@Londonlady22 my views on nutrition are very unconventional so I won't be sharing them. Vitamins have everything to do with nutrition by the way, all Ill say is don't treat them as replacements for a healthy and varied diet. You can get all you need from good quality veg, grass fed meats, seeds and nuts. Don't eat much sugar as itll rob your cells of whatever vitamin c you absorb. Vit D is essential too. Try to find methylfolate as it is more readily absorbed by the body than folic acid, which is the a synthetic form of the real thing

Can someone send you pregnacare from the UK?

@natgee my diet is pretty good, I recently lost 30lbs by cutting out sugar and I eat pretty healthy most the time. I’m not overly keen on pregnacare so I won’t ask anybody to go to all the effort of posting it to me and I was looking to change it up anyway but wanted to finish the packet. Maybe I’ll just find a decent multivitamin and folate/folic acid, I wonder if the ‘fertility’ ones are abit of a con tbh…

@ladydorito I agree with the others, you really have no idea how long things are going to take and you shouldn't put your life plans on hold for anyone else. Turn it around the other way, would you expect either of them to change their wedding plans to fit around you being having a baby? The abroad wedding would probably be out if you do fall pregnant straight away but if the other one is fairly local there's no reason you couldn't still be part of the day heavily pregnant or with a newborn :)

@ladydorito sorry you got a bfn. That's a difficult one. As pp have said it your choice but I would probably keep going. I'm sure they would understand if you did fall pregnant.

@Londonlady22 I've heard reviews that pregnacare as well can mess up cycles although didn't affect mine when I took for 4 cycles ttc#1. I'm taking it again now but this is first month of it. that's great you've managed to lose 30lb. I would be careful with a normal vitamin as they contain vitamin A which is not good in high doses when pregnant.

@EdinburghGirl1 thanks. I took pregnacare for 2 months, overall it was fine, just bright yellow wee 😂 and I also had a 26 day cycle last month which was strange as I’m usually around 30/31 days, maybe it was that or maybe it wasn’t … I guess you can never be sure. I think the ingredients in concieve plus are pretty much the same as pregnacare so maybe I’ll just take them as they weren’t cheap! Then once they have ran out reassess!

@Louise34mum they are notorious for false positives, I had 2 last cycle and I'm so annoyed about it. Looked up the reviews on amazon and loads of people saying the same thing

@ladydorito I have a similar thing, I'm bridesmaid for one of my favourite people the wedding is abroad so we'll have to stop trying oct, nov and dec it is so so hard but how I'm feeling now I'm 30 I probably wont kick myself later we can wait we have so much going on and though my friend would understand I really want to be there. It'll be my first time properly being a bridesmaid...its such a personal choice though and I might feel differently in a few months but right now thats how I feel

@Nypie my sister is getting married Oct 2023 in Rhodes so if I’m not already pregnant I need to think about pausing ttc for travel purposes at some stage soon which will break me. But it’s my sister.

@Mummyme87 😂😂😂 I don’t know how U do it, I tested early last month got BFN’s and it was soul destroying - I’m gonna test Sunday. That will be me 13dpo with AF due 2 days later - let’s see

@NSx it does make me sad when I get a bfn, and sometimes I have a cry. But I just tell myself, it will happen at some point I just have to be patient. Plus I say it’s too early until 11dpo and my LP is only 12days so AF turns up and I use that as a fairly positive thing

@Mummyme87 yea I guess you’re right, my LP is about 14 days give or take, so if I test early I’m sitting for days wondering 🤣🥲

Hello, mind if I join? Ttc no3, cycle 2. I’m 39 so not expecting anything to happen quickly. Currently 7dpo. Normally have 28 day cycles but last month af came 4 days early and I’m
pretty sure af is on its way- a 7 day luteal phase can’t be good can it? I’ll try B6 next month, anything else I can try? I already have age against me, I at least need a decent luteal phase to be in with a chance!

Hi all! Just back off our honeymoon today so Ives missed loads - hopefully lots of positives since I was last here!

Second week of honeymoon I had loads of symptoms, due on tomorrow so tested today and bfn so sure I’m out this month. Wasn’t really expecting to conceive first go but still a bit disappointed!

@Chanteuse same as us! We've just done a mini moon! Hope you enjoyed and congratulations 🥰 just going into cycle two now, I didn't expect it to work quickly but when it didn't, it did worry me. Trying to be positive and open minded now x
