Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

AF has arrived so I can start cycle 2!!

@WingingIt09 hoping this is your one! Not wanting to get your hopes up but I had success with aspirin with DD after 3 MCs back to back. Everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I am having very severe back pain . I have no idea why . If it's related to oncoming period or something else. Anyone experienced anything like this?

@Theawkwardblonde fingers crossed. I've been referred to EPU this morning too so hopefully they contact me!

Catching up on here, been quiet as trying to get through AF. Also had my day 3 tests which I’ll get back in about a week 🙂 starting to feel positive about this cycle as trying to manifest it happening! OH is more on board too which is helpful!

Things I’m going to keep doing are my massages and relaxation and I’m going to be fully giving up alcohol this cycle too!

@WingingIt09 congratulations! I hope you keep getting progression and that this is your cycle!! I’ll send a little thought for you and hope it all works out!

@Bananatoast123 that's great you're feeling more positive and your OH is more on board. Keeping up massages and relaxation sounds good

Tested again with a cheapie this morning to see if it had progressed since Wednesday evening.... so far so good!

Im 6 weeks tomorrow and seriously considering booking an early scan over the next 2 weeks because I'm so impatient 😂

@WingingIt09 keeping absolutely everything crossed for you and so please you've finally had some progress with the doc's really really hoping this is your sticky bean!!!

We're officially in our first month of TTC!!! I've been on cloud 9 floating around just so so happy we've started. trying to keep that feeling for as long as possible. We have three solid trys before we 'pause' to make sure im not breaking waters at the alter. Then decide if we carry on trying or if we carry on pausing until post wedding.

The only dampner so far was my FMIL threw a little prosecco in the garden day with all the ladies in my family which was so so lovely. My mum (clearly should've been a detective) had guessed I'd got my coil out from a mere mention that i'd been at the GP. So drunkly she sits FMIL down and tells her we're TTC. FMIL sat fiance down to ask if it was true so he's had to confirm. I was very very upset. Just feel sad that its not just between the two of us now, and no idea who else my mum has told.

CD29, 8DPO today for me. I've counted the number of LH strips I have left in my OPK and I have enough for another cycle before I have to buy another kit, so in a way I've already accepted that this cycle may fail. I don't symptom-spot anymore so I couldn't say what 'unusual' symptoms I've had. My boobs are sore, that's pretty much it 😄

I'm kind of hoping for a really nice anniversary present as I'm off of work next week for our anniversary and it would be the best news at the perfect time. I'm not going to test on the actual day itself, though, I'm still in two minds as to whether or not to test anyway. I hope everyone's okay xx

@WingingIt09 that's great news.

I caved at 10dpo and just took a cheapie test and was bfn which is what I fully expected so I'm ok. Although couldn't help being just a little hopeful at the time. At least now I can just try forget about it all for the next few days. This was cycle 3. I fell pregnant with my DD on cycle 4 so maybe it'll be lucky number 4 for me again this time

this is cycle 1 ttc #1 and we're so excited. I didn't ovulate until CD 25 last month which is so late for me so my app predicts CD 19 this month. I'll use my OPKs and hope for the best. I really hope it doesn't push back as far as last month because another couple of days and my DP will be away on work again and likelihood is my cycle won't line up again for months. I was so regular and now our first month TTC and its all out of whack. I don't feel stressed, just frustrated my body's not playing ball and I don't know why all of a sudden!!

Congrats on officially starting ttc @DanisEndo! I'm right behind you, just waiting for AF to arrive (not too soon I hope, as still worried about LP). I'm sorry about your family, that does sound rubbish. Hopefully they won't be too pushy. My fiance has told his family we're about to start trying - feels like so much pressure. I'd rather be vague about our plans/hopes/fears with those that know us! Find MN really useful to share with, but would rather keep it private IRL!

@DanisEndo yaay for finally trying! I remember you for when I was waiting aswell I feel like were the same person we also have three tries until we have to stop and I remember that lovely cloud 9 feeling now I'm on cloud crazy but I'm glad your savouring it. I'm so gutted that has happened to you I would be so upset as well, of course you want to be in control of who you tell, l don't thinks its too late to reclaim your narative maybe have a word with your mum and say you've just had your coil out and you want to give your body time to adjust or get in the right shape. I've told my mum we want to make sure we've found our house first which is bs and she probably knows but when people ask I just say we've just got engaged were looking for a house we'd love a bub but we've got alot to keep us busy!

I'm still trying to figure out ovulation. How many days after EWCM do you find you get positive on OPK? My lines are super super faint but I'm day 13 and EWCM (a lot)

Thanks everyone. I'm keeping everything crossed, will relax a bit more if if reach 5 weeks since I can't even get to that recently.

@DesertSnow I'm 11dpo. I haven't cancelled the tests yet but I will do on Tuesday if I'm still getting line progression.

@Anna531 sometimes cycles do go a bit wacky when TTC. Hopefully it settles for you

@DanisEndo sorry about your family! How rubbish, having them know can place additional pressure, which is the last thing you want. My MiL knows we're trying and she keeps saying things about being excited for another grandchild, not helpful when she also knows that I've had multiple losses in the process...

@lj2022 hey, how are you doing? The April board is called babies due April 2023 thread 4.

I’m 5+5 today and doing well so far, apart from a big flare up of my chronic UTI symptoms which haven’t been much fun!

Hope everyone is doing well on their current cycles.

@Jade57 I find I ovulate the day after EWCM stops. But I know it’s a good idea to DTD whenever you have ewcm as that’s the best environment for sperm, so even if you ovulated a few days later, you’d still be in with a shot if you DTD when it appeared. Either way it can’t hurt to get busy now!

Tested again this morning. Look at that progression. Actually beginning to believe that this one might stay sticky and get my hopes up a bit more 🤞🏻🤞🏻
