Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Actively trying here too, cycle 3, TTC #1.
CD2 of my third cycle and keeping everything crossed, im tracking ovulation with easy@home and clearblue. Ordered some pre-seed too to see if that will help!
Im also not going to test this cycle until AF is due (hopefully! ha) x

Hi, Actively TTC #1 came of Cerazette end of June, had what I think is my first period (although I did still have them on the pill 🥴) on July 15th as it was extremely heavy and painful, fun! My apps tell me I'm on CD11 so waiting to see if I ovulate this month. I did a few OPKs once I stopped the pill and never got a positive so we'll see what this month brings!

@H1994 How exciting! I’m also nervous but feel so ready, i was so disappointed when AF arrived two days ago but it’s a fresh cycle!

Boyfriends birthday is in August and it would be lovely to get a BFP for his birthday! 😅 x

@LauraA31 good luck for this cycle for you ? BBT helped me so much for a short period of time as it helped reassure me I was ovulating but I did get blood tests to make sure I didn't have low progesterone. I also identified through it that I had a short luteal phase so allowed me to focus on what I could do to lengthen it. After a few months of ovulating like clockwork I stopped using it as I became obsessed with every little dip etc. I used it from cycle 3-6 and haven't used BBT the last cycle and this cycle. I may go back to it if I get closer to 12 cycles just for information if we need tests but for now I'm happy and confident I'm ovulating. Might be worth giving it a try and see how you feel

My info is actively trying now in cycle 8, plans for next cycle if it comes is to continue to try guaifenesin for cervical mucus for another month and see how that goes ! Can't believe we're on thread 5 already feel like we had only just started thread one not long ago

@H1994 oh we're in the TWW together I'm either 1,2 or 3 dpo as my ovulation can vary to a day either side but I think most likely 1dpo. Hoping this TWW goes fast it's the worst part of each cycle

Thanks for the new thread! Actively trying to conceive #1. Currently on cycle 4 and 12DPO, CD30. Temps have steadily climbed and I'll be testing on Wednesday.

@lj2022 OOO yay! yes, i'm only going by Flo's predicted ovulation date, but im pretty sure it was relatively accurate... It's gunna be a long two weeks eh?! haha

@H1994 hope it's accurate for you! Just remember that flo is very general and some people ovulate early and late but if you DTD enough it shouldn't matter too much! Is this number 1 for you ? My TWW is usually only 9 days but last month it finally lengthened to 11/12 days I think it was and it felt like forever, need to try keep busy

@lj2022 I might order myself the thermometer and give it a go for a little while; i have read that your temperature stays high if you are pregnant and i think id become fixated on that.. it will be worth a go though!

@lj2022 Yeah, I know it's a bit general, I've logged for so long though just for medical purposes - I'd like to think that 6+months of info has given it a good idea? but yeah... hopefully we've DTD enough this month but we will see!... I'm going to do a test on the 10th if nothing happens!...

it is number 1 for me yes :)

@LauraA31 yep it can but mines also stays high during AF and doesn't drop like it's supposed to but it is so helpful once you know your pattern

@H1994 That's good you've got to know your cycle before trying wish I done that and came off contraception before and maybe it wouldn't be taking as long but hey ho just need to keep trying

@lj2022 It may have helped but who knows?! I really don't know what the journey will be like for me, and yes - definitely, keep trying, allow yourself to feel how you need, don't beat yourself up if you feel disappointed, i think that must be entirely natural! xx

I should sit under 'actively trying' as Ive had the coil removed and have started OPK's although we're still technically not... using protection while OH gets his head around it. hoping to have our first month of trying soon 🙏

Oh and I'm 26 and TTC no1. Really hoping to get a BFP before the end of the year as we get married next September!

Thanks for the new thread! I’m on cycle 3, first time ttc. I’m on cd20 but still not got a positive OPK despite three days EWCM. Have been DTD lots anyway and will keep it up (hopefully ha) for a few more days. I think I ovulated on CD20 last month as got my peak CD19, so not sure what’s happening this cycle, making just a bit delayed.
