Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

  • TTC graduates.... pregnant ladies who are you and when are you due? Hope you're all doing well
  • Actively trying.... what cycle are we all in? Any particular plans for this next one?
  • Waiting to TTC.... what month are you planning on starting?

@EdinburghGirl1
My cycles still aren't actually short tbf, just shorter. This year I have had: 31, 35, 30, 30, 32, 30, 27, 29. Looks like I will be on for another shorter one this time (28/29 days maybe) going from OPKs. So still not short but I guess if I was averaging about 31 days before and now 28/29 that still feels like my fertile window is coming around quicker!

EdinburghGirl1 · 24/08/2022 15:17

@LucyLoopyLu ah ok I get you.

BritishDesiGirl · 24/08/2022 16:05

@EdinburghGirl1 @DesertSnow

Thankyou for your kind messages. I need to come on to the thread a lot more as it is the only place where l can find like minded people.

WingingIt09 · 24/08/2022 19:24

Here we go again.... 9dpo with an evening wee (although quite concentrated as I've had a crazy day and not drunk much!) I can't bring myself to hope this will end any differently to the last few times but fingers crossed this one is sticky. Have started taking aspirin today as advised by my GP and I'll contact them tomorrow to get referred to EPU for further support.

@WingingIt09 tentative congratulations and sending positive vibes your way. Is this the first time taking the aspirin?

WingingIt09 · 24/08/2022 19:41

@tryingtryinggone yes so hopefully it works 🤞🏻

@WingingIt09 I've got everything crossed for you that with the support this time it will be your 🌈 rainbow baby. Have they said about progesterone?

Houseelf90 · 24/08/2022 20:01

@WingingIt09 good luck for a sticky bean 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Praying you have a baby in your arms in 9 months time!! 🙏

WingingIt09 · 24/08/2022 20:03

@Dreamingof3 yes, that's why I need the referral to EPU and then they'll look into progesterone. Nice guidelines say I need to get to 6 weeks and for them to see a heartbeat before they'll prescribe progesterone.

Dreamingof3 · 24/08/2022 20:48

@WingingIt09 seems a bit backwards, I'm no expert but I would have assumed the progesterone would help the pregnancy gwt to 6 weeks?! Either way I hope they give you full support xx

Chanteuse · 24/08/2022 21:30

I’m feeling a bit fed up! Still not on period but just had some very light spotting. I feel horrendous - headache, nausea, light cramps and am totally exhausted 🥱

Hopefully I come on soon so I can start cycle 2!

Jade57 · 24/08/2022 21:33

@Chanteuse when is AF due? TTC is so draining isn't it!! I'm cycle day 11. Feel like I'm never going to ovulate. I had a dark line on cycle day 8 but I think that's too early to ovulate. Every test since then has been super light, barely even a line. Been testing twice a day. I feel like I'm never going to get into the TWW never mind seeing a positive test

Chanteuse · 24/08/2022 21:36

@Jade57 according to the app AF was due yesterday but my cycle is still a bit off after coming off the coil 😩 it’s just so frustrating! Maybe just try to DTD every other day to cover yourself and go from there? Sending positive vibes xx

Jade57 · 24/08/2022 21:38

@Chanteuse I know how you feel with the irregular cycles. Iv been off the pill since November although this is our first month TTC and my cycle isn't regular yet either. Do you plan on testing or are you just waiting for AF?

Chanteuse · 24/08/2022 21:43

@Jade57 I did a test yesterday and BFN! I figure if I was pregnant I’d get at least a faint line by now ☹️ I will test again maybe Saturday if AF is still not here!

Jade57 · 24/08/2022 21:46

@Chanteuse are you sure of when you ovulated? I had similar last month, we wernt trying but had a slip and honestly I was so sick for about 2 weeks, had all the symptoms then AF arrived. No matter how much we say we will be really chilled about it all, it's still so stressful

WingingIt09 · 24/08/2022 22:05

@Dreamingof3 no idea 🤷‍♀️ but hopefully I'll get to find out! I'm not cancelling my ultrasound/blood tests next week until I can see the tests progressing. I should have an idea by Sunday as last two times they'd started fading by then.

Nypie · 24/08/2022 22:08

@Welshgal85 I'm exactlty the same I keep looking up my dates and wondering if I should commit to certain things or not!
Hopefully this is the cycle for both of us 🤞🤞🤞

Oh wow @WingingIt09 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Chanteuse · 24/08/2022 22:10

@Jade57 no, no idea when I ovulated due to messed up cycles and didn’t test because I was on honeymoon! Hopefully I’ll know in the next few days

EdinburghGirl1 · 25/08/2022 06:33

@WingingIt09 congratulations I really hope it's a sticky bean for you this time and the extra support helps.

@Chanteuse that is annoying. Hopefully it comes soon so you can move into next cycle. Like you say might be body still regulating after coil or maybe you ovulated later so not quite due yet.

9dpo today for me. Still not really feeling anything and no urge to test yet which is good

Tropicana1 · 25/08/2022 07:33

@WingingIt09 congratulations! Hope it sticks 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Re progesterone, a lot of ladies over on the April pregnancy board have been prescribed progesterone due to multiple losses (inculding early losses /CPs) that they have started on the day of their BFP to help it stick in case it's a low progesterone issue causing the miscarriages so if I were you I would speak to your GP about recurrent losses / progesterone supplementation at this stage

WingingIt09 · 25/08/2022 07:33

Thanks everyone! Took a FRER this morning and it's a clear line, just need to see if it progresses

@WingingIt09 Congratulations! Sending positive sticky thoughts to you ❤️

CD12 for me, not much to report. I forgot 1 night of Clomid, so I picked it up the next night- it was ended up being 2-3 and 5-7. Don't think it matters much though, especially since it expired last October 😂

I'm still hoping to do SMEP or close to it this month, BD'd last night so will try to fit it in again tomorrow- I hate when ovulation potentially falls on a weekend since OH is usually working.

Fx for everyone 🤞
