Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

• TTC graduates.... pregnant ladies who are you and when are you due? Hope you're all doing well

• Actively trying.... what cycle are we all in? Any particular plans for this next one?

• Waiting to TTC.... what month are you planning on starting?

Can anybody reassure me that it’s normal for strip tests to not change in colour much in the first few days after a bfp? I tested yesterday in the evening at what would be 12dpo and it was a tiny bit lighter then 11dpo. Rationally I know this means nothing, and time of day, dilution etc all influence it. @lj2022 i think I read that your tests didn’t change much in the first few days?

So so hard to get out of your own head and just try to relax

@Springblooms08 I think hcg only doubles every 2 days plus like you day things like how much you have drank can effect it. I see it was also an evening test. Please try not to read too much into it and if you want try another test tomorrow.

@Springblooms08 my strip tests were really similar for days. I think there's so many things that can affect it

And @PinkButtercups I can't believe you're 20 weeks already!

I would've loved twins before...but now I think I'd cry 🤣

@Springblooms08 this was mines between 7dpo and 11dpo. The bottom never really got darker for about 3 days after this and I still don't have a dye stealer at 21dpo so I just think my HGC doesn't increase as quickly

@EdinburghGirl1 @Dreamingof3 @lj2022 thank you ladies, really really appreciate it. I’m going to ask my DH to hide the box of tests, and perhaps do one on Tuesday next week. Finding these early days extremely anxiety-inducing, just constantly feeling silly for testing so early. Just not easy at all any stage of this whole thing is it!

@Springblooms08 the anxiety is horrible isn't it. I get over one anxiety and then find another. I think I've pulled a stomach muscle but any pain I suddenly start worrying. How many DPO are you ?

I'm now CD13, OPKs have only just started to darken so think I'm going to ovulate late (usually get positive OPK on CD12). Might cause problems as it will make the birth even closer to my brothers wedding 😬 we've DTD the past 3 days but think we will leave it at that as if I don't ovulate till Monday/Tuesday then if I go over like I have previously I'm likely to be induced less than a week before the wedding. Still a chance that we will get pregnant on those ovulation dates from the times we've already DTD but will cross that bridge if/when we get to it!

@lj2022 me too, finding the anxiety all consuming at the moment. I’m 13dpo today. I don’t know why but I’m really berating myself for testing so early (got my bfp at 10dpo) - I feel really silly and as if I’m fooling myself. I can’t even explain why I feel like that, as rationally it’s only a few days before I had planned to test (I originally wanted to test on Monday at 15dpo).

@lj2022 so sorry to hear you’ve pulled a stomach muscle too. That’s horrible! How are you getting on otherwise?

@Springblooms08 hopefully you can keep yourself busy and maybe do something fun over the weekend to keep your mind off it and then you can test after the weekend. I think there's a part of you that knows and tests early as I have never ever tested at 7dpo.

Thankyou honestly I was doing a gentle workout aswell but assuming my muscles will be stretching and may be more prone to being pulled. I'm doing okay actually small bouts of nausea but not much and really really painful boobs but apart from that feel very normal still

@lj2022 thank you - I think that’s it as well, I’ve had a really quiet couple of days and not much planned for this weekend as it’s 36 degrees where I am! Going out for dinner tonight for a family birthday to a restaurant I really like so I’m looking forward to that a lot 💛

bless you, that sounds really sore! I hope you can take it easy now and it heals up quickly. Glad to hear you are doing well on the whole. Have you told anybody other than DP yet?

@Springblooms08 enjoy your dinner tonight that will help pass some time over the weekend for you and hopefully cheer you up a little. Keeping everything crossed for those lines to get darker when you test again 🤞

We told our parents and two siblings straight away about an hour after I told my partner. We're so close with our family and stay very close so I could never have kept it to myself. I have told a select few of my closest friends also. Think we're going to announce it at our engagement party as I'll be 10 weeks as long as our scan a few days before is all looking okay. Are you planning to tell anyone early ?

@lj2022 that’s such a lovely idea to announce at your engagement party!! Really nice that you’ve told your closest circle already too for that support. I told my best friend the day I got the bfp, but no one else so far. I probably will tell immediate family in about a week if all is ok.

thank you - I’m trying to remind myself that unless I have a bleed, then I really don’t need to worry about tests or anything like that! Once you’ve got a positive, you’re pregnant until you aren’t if that makes sense. I don’t necessarily need to see lines getting darker to know I’m still pregnant

@Dreamingof3 I know! It's flown by. Scary actually because I don't have anything yet and I got a lot to buy 🤣. No one tells you just how fast your second pregnancy goes! 20 week scan on Tuesday. I feel so nervous!

@PinkButtercups you've still got plenty of time. I didn't buy much until after the 20 week scan with DD as wanted to know the sex first

@LucyLoopyLu yea feeling good thanks! No real symptoms other than some backache / cramping and keep getting watery-creamy cm & feeling damp so rushing off to the toilet in a panic 🤦🏼‍♀️ 4 weeks exactly today! Got my 1-2 weeks clearblue digital indicator positive at 3+3 so might do my other one tomorrow to see hopefully 2-3 on it. FRERs have progressed nicely so not buying any more now 🤣

@Springblooms08 my cheapies are still pretty rubbish compared to my frers which are good positives now!

@Tropicana1 great to hear you’re feeling well and thanks so much for sharing your tests. How far along are you now? What’s your estimated due date?

@Tropicana1 completely missed you saying your exactly 4 weeks today - duh!!! Sorry. I think I’m 3w 6d today / 13dpo.

Did my weekly shop and overheard a lady talking on her phone saying "It's a boy!", DH and I both look over and see she's very obviously pregnant. We tried not to break and just carried on shopping. It's easier to manage but it still stings 😣 it could have taken her ages of course. Just.... Argh! Sorry, had to let that out.

Evening ladies, thank everybody for the congratulations! I’m trying to stay level headed and not get too excited. Had to tell work this morning as i do a frontline job and face to face with violent people daily. I really didn’t want to jinx anything but had no choice to protect myself.

10DPO and got this result with evening urine 2 hour hold, is it common for a digital to show so early?
Boyfriend is terrified of twins as they run strong on my mums side of the family 😂
still trying to not get too excited as we are super early..

@LauraA31 i got a digital 1-2 weeks at 3 + 3 (10dpo for me too) on evening 2-3 hour hold as well - not sure if it's usual or not but it does say up to 5 days before a missed period on the box 😊
