WingingIt09 · 25/07/2022 14:45

Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

  • TTC graduates.... pregnant ladies who are you and when are you due? Hope you're all doing well
  • Actively trying.... what cycle are we all in? Any particular plans for this next one?
  • Waiting to TTC.... what month are you planning on starting?

@lj2022 congratulations 🥳

EdinburghGirl1 · 01/08/2022 08:38

@lj2022 congratulations

Dreamingof3 · 01/08/2022 08:58

@lj2022 amazing congratulations 🎊 I knew there was a line on that easy at home!

@Nypie 7 weeks as of today 😂 although I think technically a few days behind that because of my cycles. Still doesn't feel real, I have really sensitive nappies and a few waves of nausea (always when eating annoyingly) but that's it. Actually lost 2lbs last week 🎊

lj2022 · 01/08/2022 09:23

Thankyou everyone so in shock! Keeping everything crossed for you all soon 🤞

SarahShorty · 01/08/2022 10:28

@lj2022 congrats.

DesertSnow · 01/08/2022 10:35

Amazing, congratulations @lj2022 - so it was implantation cramping/spotting after all! Which cycle was this for you?

Welcome to the newcomers @BabyG22, @Houseelf90, @Havanalily1806. Hope you find this group helpful.

So sorry to hear that you think it's another CP @WingingIt09 - I hope you're doing ok. Let us know how you are if you feel up to it.

Congrats on the move @Dreamingof3 - must be glad to have that out the way.

Can't believe it's August already, and we officially start ttc next month. It's been a long time coming, as we agreed our start date over a year ago now. This is my first month taking vitamin c in an attempt to lengthen my luteal phase, currently 10DPO. Fingers crossed AF doesn't come today.

WingingIt09 · 01/08/2022 11:00

@lj2022 congratulations!!

@DesertSnow I didn't bother testing this morning as I had started bleeding when I woke up. Another confirmed chemical. I don't understand why this is happening this time.

@WingingIt09 sorry to hear that 😞

SarahShorty · 01/08/2022 11:18

@WingingIt09 I'm so sorry 😔

I'm so sorry @WingingIt09 😞

Springblooms08 · 01/08/2022 11:20

@WingingIt09 so so sorry to hear this, that’s devastating. Sending much love x

EdinburghGirl1 · 01/08/2022 11:31

@WingingIt09 I'm so sorry to hear this. Hope you're doing ok

WingingIt09 · 01/08/2022 11:39

Just spoken to the doctors as this is my 3rd loss and was hoping they would do something to investigate. Because I have had healthy pregnancies in the past the fertility services won't accept a referral until I've had multiple (by which they mean 8 or 9) first trimester losses. How is that fair to say I potential have to do this 8 or 9 times before they'll do anything.

@WingingIt09 what an awful system?! Do you have any option to go privately? (saying this as someone with zero knowledge on whats available / what options there are fertility wise so apologies if thats silly, but i've had to go private for almost everything related to my endo (only possible thanks to PMI provided by work) and its been like night and day in their willingness to test!)

dearhummingbirds · 01/08/2022 12:04

So sorry to hear @WingingIt09 :( Must be so disheartening for you.

WingingIt09 · 01/08/2022 12:12

@DanisEndo I don't know. Would need to look into it, not sure we can really afford to start going down that road with the current cost of living crisis as it'll use the savings we have put aside to allow me to go on maternity leave.

LucyLoopyLu · 01/08/2022 12:34

@WingingIt09 so sorry, that is so upsetting and hope you're ok. Actually can't believe they won't refer you for testing now, is that definitely what the NICE guidelines say?
Sending you lots of sympathy, take it easy and look after yourself 💙

LucyLoopyLu · 01/08/2022 12:35

@lj2022 congratulations! Must be amazing to see that spelled out

DanisEndo · 01/08/2022 13:16

@WingingIt09 ahh its so hard at the moment. Maybe take some time for you and OH, and re-evaluate in a a week or two. It might be private tests are cheaper than you think? Or not, and you decide to keep trying as is. Either way sometimes making a decision after a bit of space from a situation can help. Im really so sorry. Must all be so fresh right now.

Nypie · 01/08/2022 13:48

@WingingIt09 8 to 9 that is disgusting who makes these policies! I dont think they get at all how awful it can be. Im so sorry that this happening again for you.

@Dreamingof3 7 weeks! That has flown. Are you going to get an early scan or wait it out?

@lj2022 I know this was your month. It must be great to see the words.

DanisEndo · 01/08/2022 14:01

Ovulation question you guys might be able to help with...

So i think I had my peak on OPKs on the 18th (LH score went the highest its gone, then dropped the next day back down super low, i think i should have tested again later that night to see if i got a proper peak). So that would mean ovulating on either 19th or 20th. Then yesterday (4 days after ovulation according to pre-mom) I had proper thick sticky EGCM (sorry TMI). Very confused as i though you were only meant to get the during or right before ovulation?

To add to my overall frustration and anxiety had some pretty severe rectal bleeding (again.. thanks endo) which i think i need to go back to the doctor about. So bored of having people poking around inside me though.

lj2022 · 01/08/2022 15:17

Thank you so much everyone I appreciate all your comments! @DesertSnow it was my 8th cycle and was beginning to loose hope. I honestly believe taking cough Medicine in the run up to ovulation helped as I had CM for the first time!

@WingingIt09 I am so so sorry you're going through this again and it must be even harder when the NHS aren't helping you. Look after yourself and sending lots of well wishes and hugs I'm sure you'll need them right now ❤️

Tropicana1 · 01/08/2022 17:32

@WingingIt09 oh I'm so sorry to see this (on holiday at the mo so catching up slowly with the thread) - really unfair you have to wait so long and I get any kind of referral

@lj2022 ah congratulations!! So happy for you!

Tropicana1 · 01/08/2022 17:34

@lj2022 how many DPO are you?
