Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

  • TTC graduates.... pregnant ladies who are you and when are you due? Hope you're all doing well
  • Actively trying.... what cycle are we all in? Any particular plans for this next one?
  • Waiting to TTC.... what month are you planning on starting?

@WingingIt09 really, really hope that's not what's happening. Sending love and hugs and I have everything crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

SVC11 · 31/07/2022 13:42

Riddle me this... Had a positive opk four days ago... So ovulated 3 days ago... But only got a higher bbt today... Can it take a while for bbt to rise or did I not ovulate?

LucyLoopyLu · 31/07/2022 14:38

@WingingIt09 oh no, really hope it's not the case and sending you lots of luck. Are you going to re-test tomorrow?

@Dreamingof3 hope the move went well, not surprised you're tired it's absolutely exhausting!

WingingIt09 · 31/07/2022 14:50

@LucyLoopyLu I've run out of tests so have ordered some more. Will probably test Tuesday as doubt the tests will have arrived in time for FMU tomorrow

So my bleeding as come to a stop this afternoon so I took a test and it looked positive but then I took a FRER and it was completely negative so think it was a very bad indent 🤦🏻‍♀️ my body is really playing tricks on me the last 3 days. Such a horrible indent that it can be picked up on camera a little. Just want AF to actually come now if it's going to as I have twinge like cramps again. Suppose I just need to be patient but wish I never took that test as I'm clinging on to a tiny glimmer of hope

Hi

Please can I be added?

I'm 31 (32 in August) TTC#1

Came off the combined pill in April, cycles are still sorting themselves out, I've had a 45 day, and a 40 day, currently on day 30 waiting for AF and hoping it's a shorter cycle again.

Will be BBT and ordering some OPK strips to start ttc in August.

All brand new to this

Houseelf90 · 31/07/2022 16:21

Welcome!
I’m also going to be TTC #1, and am 31, turning 32 in September! Hopefully it’s a lucky age for us 🤞🏼

Houseelf90 · 31/07/2022 16:22

Sorry should have tagged @Havanalily1806 in the above message! 🙈

HippeePrincess · 31/07/2022 18:12

@lj2022 that doesn’t look particularly negative to my eyes and I never see anything! Early digitalis are very good these days and as sensitive as a FRER.

Theawkwardblonde · 31/07/2022 18:14

@WingingIt09 hope you're not headed towards another chemical. Everything crossed for you. Any chance it could be a dodgy batch of frers?

lj2022 · 31/07/2022 18:16

@HippeePrincess I keep going back and looking at it but again still can't decide if AF is making an appearance either or if it could be possibly implantation. Driving myself mad but not saying to my partner yet as I don't want to get him excited. Im glad you're saying you can see something because I'm questioning everything 😂 in person it's more obvious. Might try hold my pee for a few hours and do an evening test too

lj2022 · 31/07/2022 18:17

Welcome @Houseelf90 @Havanalily1806 it's a great thread and keeping fingers crossed for you both for starting your journey

WingingIt09 · 31/07/2022 18:27

@Theawkwardblonde it's the same batch that I tested with on Friday. Cramping has stopped and I've been feeling nauseous all afternoon and tender boobs so I really want to have hope but I'm not optimistic with my history. I have more FRERs on order that will arrive tomorrow so I'll test again on Tuesday.

@WingingIt09 really hoping the fact your symptoms are still around is a good sign 🤞🤞

LucyLoopyLu · 31/07/2022 20:30

@lj2022 I can see something! I don't know whether it's an indent or a faint line (don't really know anything about tests as I've never seen anything but blank). Really hoping the bleeding was implantation. Fingers crossed for you

lj2022 · 31/07/2022 20:36

@LucyLoopyLu I done another and there's a line too, I've never had a hint line at all either or an indent on easy at home tests or any other for that matter so I'm hopeful 🤞 I'm not going to sleep tonight knowing I can test with first morning urine tomorrow for more accuracy.
How are you getting on where in your cycle are you ?

LucyLoopyLu · 31/07/2022 21:44

@lj2022 Tbh I would be hopeful too 🤞 let us know what it looks like next time you test!

I'm 5dpo (based on OPKs) and feel totally normal for this time of the month. Had a horrid headache on Friday which is very typical for me in second half of cycle. I went for a run this weekend and did some gardening so just trying to keep fit and not think too much about it. I will probably be getting twitchy next weekend but feeling quite chill at the moment.

Heard on the grapevine this weekend that a some of my OH's friends have been trying for two years now and had an ectopic which put everything back in perspective for me

Nypie · 31/07/2022 21:59

@lj2022 haha congrats well done! Only one more sleep 🤞🤞. Sorry just seen your other post seems a bit early to spot! God I've been througg it all catching upp with your posts 😂😂😂 (I can only imagine how you feel!) this is it I can feel it!! I see the linee 🤞🤞🤞

@SarahShorty loving that quote!

Ahh @WingingIt09 I'm so sorry your feeling this way and the test isnt as dark as you'd hope for I'd like to sat it doesnt look too much lighter but I understand your need to prepare yourself for the worst!

@Dreamingof3 👋👋👋 how far are you now??

Hi!

Nice to find someone at a very similar stage.. never thought I'd be calling 32 lucky though 😅 still wondering where the last 5 years went...

Anna531 · 01/08/2022 00:56

@WingingIt09 so sorry to hear that, and really hoping Tuesdays tests bring good news!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

WingingIt09 · 01/08/2022 01:44

@Anna531 thanks. I'm not holding out much hope. Think I'll probably go and get a test first thing tbh. I can't sleep tonight for worrying about it so need some answers as soon as I can get them.

Morning everyone, I got a bfn at 11dpo this morning so pretty sure I'm out this month and just going to wait for AF to arrive. It took 4 cycles with my DD and I'm 6 years older now (37) so I know it's probably going to take some time. I felt so positive about it this month too but oh well

@WingingIt09 I'm so sorry you're going through this snd really hope this little bean sticks

@lj2022 sounds promising that you've had 2 with lines. Fingers crossed for you.

@Havanalily1806 and @Houseelf90 welcome to the group

lj2022 · 01/08/2022 07:39

@EdinburghGirl1 sorry to hear you feel you're out!

@EdinburghGirl1 @Nypie @LucyLoopyLu Thankyou everyone I just took 2 more with first morning urine and I can definitely see faint lines possibly slightly stronger than yesterday. I've kept my urine and heading to the shop to try get an ultra early digital and FRER. I knew I should have got 2 FRER yesterday instead of the single pack.
My nerves are all over the place

lj2022 · 01/08/2022 08:25

Well no more squinting at lines honestly in shock did not think this would be our month especially after giving everything a break! My partner won't be home until 7.30 tonight and I'm off on annual leave. It's going to be a long day Thankyou @HippeePrincess for recommending the ultra early digitals
