@BlondePotter no idea, I had a very short cycle, 22, then this spotting on cd 16, we are in cd 44? dh is rolling his eyes at me, specially as I have a bit of heartburn and sore boobs, haven’t told him about a sore foof, either af coming on the next few days, or I’ll have to test, I guess, don’t feel pregnant,but neither I did with ds, who knows, definitely not me

My last 2 embryos have finally made it to the new clinic today, so I’ll be trying again in July with a whole load of steroids added in. Not holding my breath, but if I don’t give it a go then it definitely won’t work will it? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just one I think, then if it doesn’t work I’ve still got another chance, and twins solo would be pretty tricky!

@Sunbird24 absolutely, all you can be certain of is that if you don't put the embryos in they definitely won't do anything. Hopefully the next time is the lucky one

It's not hit me so hard this month. I think most of my hope has gone for a natural conception. I know I'll be gutted all over again if the letrozole doesn't work though

@polkadotpixie me neither, you should see my dh face when I say I am having a glass of wine on cd 1, only one though so the rest of the bottle will be used for cooking, 😂

@Franklydear i’m 44 now, and if this next one works I’ll be 45 by the time it’s cooked, so I most likely wouldn’t do it again. This is already a fair bit older than I’d hoped to be!

@sunbird we are the same age, 45 in September, I wanted to be just over 40 but here we are, we got this, thank you, it'll be a long hard day but I am hoping that it'll allow me to start to accept it and move on

Thank you ladies, English funerals are bizarre, but we went through it, spent most of the time with her husband and kids, and some school mums, cried lots, heard lots of stories, mums made me eat something, left after most people but not last for the school run, we'll see them next weekend once they had some time with the visiting family

Soooooooooo over this. CD6 today. Hopefully another "normal" (for me) length cycle this month. If so I'll OV about CD24. Impatience is setting in. It'll be the one year next month, but only on our 9th cycle.

Hi girls it's me again!

I've been catching up over the last few days (it's been so long since I was here) and in now up to date.

Currently 4dpo on cycle 3 since TTC again. I'm STILL in the middle of trying to sell my house and buy a new one which is taking an age, but otherwise not much to report.

Congratulations @Somatronic on the pregnancy and good 8week scan 💕 amazing news! And hello to all the new names here.

@Dawnbird I feel your pain. I have long cycles too and it's quite normal for me to only have 9-10cycles a year. I asked my consultant about this in reoccurring miscarriage clinic and she said that as long as I'm ovulating then it's ok. It.
just means less chances to get pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️ I personally tend to be quite happy with a 34-37day cycle... It's the 45days plus that piss me off. Is your luteal phase fairly regular length wise?

P.s. For those who don't know me, I'm an old timer, one of the OGs from back in 2020 but have been on a long TTC break after multiple losses. I've recently started TTC again but just tend to dip in and out, and like @manifestingbaby said I'm a half hearted passenger at this point.

@Sausage1990 hi, thank you, funeral was very cathartic, a couple of friends are keeping an eye on me, atm were a community of people keeping an eye on each other, we are helping her husband with childcare, which makes me quite content, if that makes sense, looking at old pictures with her children is good for the soul

bfn this morning, I knew it, only tested cos dh was starting to get out of his mind, I’ll book the woman health nurse on Monday

@Sausage1990 thank you, took about 15 months last time but similar to @Dawnbird I had long cycles and I don't think I ovulated each time.
Since having my daughter my cycles have regulated 🤷🏼‍♀️ having spent my whole life with them being 35-55 days they're suddenly 31 days the female body is strange

@Franklydear it does make sense. It feels good to look after eachother and her family, it's a way if showing love and togetherness... community coming together helps for sure.

Well coffee had, it was quite nice, poor woman really wanted to know about her last few weeks, as hadn't seen her in quite some time, understandibly, but no plans made other than see you soon, kids play together in the orchestra so she's in my universe

Todays been hard ladies, one whole year since implant removal.
Only two cycles in that time. Was half expecting AF to show up and an extra slap in the face. CD71 today.
What do I say when I call the drs Monday morning? I need a referral to a fertility specialist?

@dmb91 aww lovely if you've only had 2 cycles in a year then you definitely need to get to the GP... Although that being said, you may have already had some checks done. Have you had any tests yet? Xx

@dmb91 sorry I misread the question - I haven't had to have this conversation with my GP but if I did i would explain the situation as you have above and say you would like some blood tests (check which ones or I'm sure the girls here will tell you) and just ask the questions to them about how do I get referred to a fertility specialist and ask them to take those steps please. They may be able to get the ball rolling.
