No news here. Still exhausted but I took a week off work and my GP certified me sick this week so that has been a huge help. He reckons I'm burnt out and said reaching 12 weeks isn't going to solve any of my problems so I'm going to try to take as much time off between now and Christmas as I can. Apologies if I've already given this update. My brain is gone too. I came very close to sending a birthday card to my best friend today - a month early! Only realised when I was putting the stamp on. In my defence June and July look very similar.

@Somatronic sorry to hear you're exhausted! Hope the week off will help! Birthday card story is a bit hilarious though 🤣

I'm 8dpo and just had some light spotting. Thinking nothing of it (or trying to) cus I swear my body just likes throwing symptoms in to fuck with me.

On a lighter note, my beautiful girl dog had puppies on Sunday night! Puppy spam incoming... I'm a proud mama!

@GemB03 we love puppy spam, I had a bit of spotting myself about a week ago, cd 28, late and getting itchy here

Our preggos in the sidecar have convinced me and I'd order a test, eeeek, surely I am deluded and it's just a long weird cycle, disclaimer they are often weird in my case, the weird thing would be to get them regularly now

Sorry for going AWOL, I'm under so much pressure at work. I'm barely coping because senior management are pushing everything onto me...I'm working 9 hours straight without a lunch break and then having to log on again once DS is in bed and do another couple of hours, it's relentless 😩

BFN for me today. 😫 cd26 so I'm out. Don't have my usual brown discharge at this time so my body is just fucking with me. Onto month 20...

Puppies are keeping me busy though! Look at their faces 😍

@dmb91 probably tomorrow , but at cd 31 I guess it doesn’t matter, only that I am terrible at holding my wee, so normally end up testing at 4 am, when I first wake up

@GemB03 It does suck, it's totally shit. Give those puppies extra cuddles. I find the realisation that it's not my month harder than CD1, at least that makes me feel I have another shot

I keep thinking maybe it's time for me to give up but I'm so conflicted, I'm 38 so not too old but I definitely feel old some days and I also found the first couple of years of having DS very difficult as I had PND. Maybe I'm just not meant to do it again?

That being said, I just can't imagine never being pregnant or holding my newborn again and I love being DS's Mum so much now he's older and I'm past the PND. I just don't know how far I should take this? I'm going to do the letrozole if no luck this cycle or the next but what if that doesn't work? Do I push on...IVF? Donor egg IVF? Or do I call it a day, accept it and enjoy DS? Sometimes I feel I'm not the best Mum I can be to him because I'm so wrapped up in my fertility issues and I don't know where to draw the line

@polkadotpixie ive draw that line many times, and erased it again, and every time I said I was done, well I wasn’t, dh certainly wasn’t, I am 44, 45 in a couple of months so the choice will taken from me soon anyway, saying that cd 31 and testing tomorrow but I am quite afraid of having hope too, so, you don’t need to make any fixed decisions yet

Bfn this morning ladies, feeling strangely zen about it, but in limbo now, having a lot of clear cm so DTD anyway, at least we can have fun, even if it doesn't go anywhere

Don’t give up @polkadotpixie, you’re just in a low moment. We all have these despairing times and remember you said you’d been under a lot of work pressure which is bound to be making you feel bleak. You have a really excellent path mapped out in front of you - letrozole and then steps towards ivf. Don’t despair yet, you have many more avenues to try. Be kind to yourself, it sounds like you are completely exhausted.

@pennysays funny enough having fertile cm for the last couple of days, so we've been dtding as well, only time will tell, need to make an effort to live in the present and not what ifs

I'm sorry about the bfn @Franklydear. Sucks. Completely agree with the living in the now comment though. I'm gonna really focus on that too this month 👌🏼
