@Minster2012 apparently didn't learn from the last time and is once again letting me loose behind the wheel whilst she enjoys her well earned rest! You can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where lots of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

We have had over 100 BFPs on this thread since @Minster2012 took over including 2 on the last thread so we need to keep our lucky run going, no slacking ladies!

Anything goes and NOTHING is TMI on this bus! Whether you're doing it the old fashioned way or with some help from science, we're all waiting for those 2 pink lines and are here to support each other and try to stay (somewhat) sane along the way

@pennysays a mixed, I felt worse the last couple of days, I have a cold too, but lungs starting to clear, headachy today but don’t need to do much, off extra meds now, so rest for a couple more days and reevaluate

Somatronic · 19/05/2022 10:19

@Dawnbird I'm sorry! That's shite :(

@pennysays yes! I'll have to think back to when I went to counselling to remember what I learned about imposing boundaries. I already find that I care less about her, as in I am completely prioritising myself at the moment and I imagine that will increase as time goes on (all going well, please God, touch wood etc!) so hopefully that'll help me.

I've had a headache since yesterday. Not too bad but the feeling and where it is and how it's moving around my head is like a very mild migraine. I can't take my migraine tablets now so I'm hoping and praying that it doesn't progress.

Somatronic · 19/05/2022 11:21

Migraine progressing, mentioned this to boss. She suggested I walk across town to do a job for her that she couldn't bothered doing (it involved signing something so I'm not even sure how I could do that for her) and that it might help my head.

I told her that walking on a super-bright day would not actually be good for a migraine. Unbelievable. If it doesn't lift I'm calling in sick tomorrow and if it gets worse I'm out of here.

paintfairy · 19/05/2022 13:47

@Somatronic sadly you might get a few. And it's bloody unhelpful you can't take much for them. And anyone suggesting a walk outside has clearly never had a migraine! 🤦‍♀️

Somatronic · 19/05/2022 14:33

@paintfairy exactly. A bright sunny day. My worst nightmare right now. But I just thought it was so rude and ignorant. Another one she's said to me is that her daughter gets migraines and she has to be at home in a darkened room etc and I feel like saying, yes, you silly bitch that's where I need to be but you force me to work when I'm sick so here we are.

Dawnbird · 19/05/2022 23:31

Ugh, did not want to go to work today (rare, I love my job!) but sadly had to. Tired, keep waking up in the middle of the night lately, and sad. Awful dreams last night too. I dreamed my cat died. 😭Still spotting, probably CD1 tomorrow.

pennysays · 20/05/2022 07:25

Sounds like a rough night @Dawnbird o had bad dreams recently and didn’t want to go to bed the next night in case they happened again!

@Somatronic this is your daily reminder that it is YOU who chooses whether you go to work. Your boss cannot force you work.

pennysays · 20/05/2022 17:09

Haaaaaaark!!! The angels came from heaven and sent DP a text about his sperm analysis and he has made AN ACTUAL PLAN about how he will spaff into a cup!

i actually feel like crying. It’s so pathetic that I’m so grateful for his bare minimum responsibility for this but I know many of you have had problems getting your dps to do this.

We’re struggling to find a way to get to the hospital in the 60 minute window. We live quite far away!! Any thoughts? I had to talk him out of stopping in a lay-by. Paging the old timers for this one as well…

Manifestingbaby · 20/05/2022 19:04

@pennysays 🤫 @paintfairy is your woman here 😉 we are a distance from the hospital too and were told it was ok as long as the sample was kept warm.

amy2503 · 20/05/2022 19:43

@pennysays hi! I'm still here... still not pregnant but finally taken the leap and had my blood tests. Found out today everything is clear other than my progesterone which was slightly low so I'll see a doctor soon and work out if that's just to do with the timing of the test or if I need a little boost. I'll be having a scan at some point too to check it out. But I'm so happy that my FSH and LH test came back okay. I've also just started using the fertilly. Has anyone used it? Sorry for the slow reply... it wouldn't let me post when you asked how I was And my app still won’t work!

Mc3209 · 20/05/2022 21:22

@pennysays how about loos at the hospital? Not very atmospheric, but maybe if he takes a magazine with him or something?

paintfairy · 20/05/2022 21:57

@pennysays I'm afraid we really did do it over the road in the car..... 🙈🤭

pennysays · 21/05/2022 00:26

😂@paintfairy all for the good of the insemination. I’m just not sure I want to be around when it happens! DP started talking about specially designed condoms but again, not sure I want to spend my post coital after glow legging it to the hospital. Currently yes @Mc3209 the loos seem the best bet.

@amy2503 glad you’re still here! I haven’t used the fertility but seem to remember that @Minster2012 was somewhat of an expert.

how you feeling @Franklydear ?

pennysays · 21/05/2022 00:27

Good news about the tests @amy2503 and hope you’re not in a migraine hole @Somatronic

Franklydear · 21/05/2022 04:51

@pennysays well, hasn’t it been a funny week?! So, I got worst mid week, but doctor is convinced is just a viral cold, but I am better now, not quite to normal but we are starting to consider long covid, the joys, af is here, two days spotting and another two of very light flow, but that’s me often so....now to try and catch up with all of you

Somatronic · 21/05/2022 07:29

@Franklydear I'm glad you feel better.

@pennysays are they still not providing rooms? My DH did it at home and legged it across town with it tucked between his legs to keep warm and he also did it in one of the rooms in there. He complained about both but the best option for an optimum sample is probably the loos on the hospital. I'm glad things are moving along and that DH is cooperating.

Re migraines, all OK again thank God. Was definitely mild and short as far as my migraines go. Hopefully they'll all be like that for the time I can't take my meds.

Mc3209 · 22/05/2022 16:09

I don't want to do OPKs this cycle.. but then I won't know DPOs. I guess I will just have to test at the end of the cycle. Let's see how well that will go.

pennysays · 22/05/2022 21:25

Ok it’s Sunday night people! What plans fertility based or other wise do you all have this week?

i have my pelvic ultrasound tomorrow and will pick up the spaff cup from hospital on Tuesday. Dinner on Tuesday night with my boss (who I am lucky enough to like!)

Everyone else?

Dawnbird · 22/05/2022 22:28

CD3 here and my day off, so sulking is on the cards. Don't expect to OV for another 20-30 days, so it's a long wait.

Franklydear · 23/05/2022 06:14

Cd 5, fw imminent, and I feel a bit better, it might actually be used, af was weird as fuck, 2 days spotting, 2days light flow, 2days occasionally bleeding, but just a random gush, I think I’ll take that to the gp, but it’s also been pointed out to me that being this poorly could have affected greatly

polkadotpixie · 23/05/2022 06:55

@pennysays I'm CD15. Got my peak Clearblue OPK yesterday and feeling some ovulation cramps so I think today is ovulation day. DTD CD13 & CD14 and will do today as well. I wanted to start earlier but I was still bleeding from the HyCoSy. Good luck with your ultrasound and your DH's hot date with the spaff cup!

OP posts:
Somatronic · 23/05/2022 09:46

@pennysays best of luck today! Hope everything goes well for you.

@Dawnbird eugh that's a long wait. That can't be easy.

@Franklydear I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. If you've had a few dodgy periods it's definitely worth talking to the GP, but if it's a one off and you were sick they might just put it down to that.

I'm just still really tired. Either sleeping or wishing I was sleeping! I have a dinner on Tuesday night too for a colleague's going away. I have to figure out how to take a vaginal pessary at work and lie down for 20 minutes somewhere without alerting anybody as the dinner is scheduled for the exact time I have to take the pessary. I have my own office so I guess I'll just have to lock the door and lie under my desk and hope nobody knocks. The joys of IVF.

pennysays · 23/05/2022 09:55

Ok fingers crossed for hycosy magic @polkadotpixie

I’m sorry your periods are crazy @Franklydear and sorry for the bfn
all very disconcerting

I feel you @Dawnbird I did an opk this week on cd 22 and it was low and I then I though of course! Your ovulated at cd50 last time why are you testing now! Sulk away. Under a duvet preferably.

dmb91 · 23/05/2022 12:29

Had a lovely break away then came home and it all went to shit 🤦‍♀️
Popped into MILs to thank her for feeding the animals and she tells us she had been to the drs, had loads of blood tests, has a colonoscopy booked because drs suspect ovarian cancer that may have spread to her bowel 😫 trying not to stress before we know what we're actually dealing with but that's easier said than done!

So CD31 for me, no positive OPK yet and now extra stress, I'm not expecting much this cycle 😭 (although last cycle was 81 days so still plenty of time I guess 🤷‍♀️)

Franklydear · 23/05/2022 19:26

Several periods have been weird but I am 44, so just got menopause blood test, and a cheery nit that, toodles
