@Franklydear that sounds rough. Mine is tricky because my boss is lazy and in some ways not very smart and that leaves me to do all of the heavy lifting. She also loses her mind when I'm not there which makes taking sick leave impossible. I haven't been off sick in years but I've decided that that nonsense ends now with pregnancy. Other colleagues take days off for frankly bizarre reasons involving animals and adult children but I'm not allowed to be sick because she's completely reliant on me for everything, no matter how hard I try to force her to be more self-reliant. She's been fine so far about the pregnancy (had to tell her early because I had to tell her about IVF for time off work) but I haven't needed any time off yet which seems to be her trigger!

@jammyrose I think you should wait too. It's for your own good!

@Somatronic @pennysays it has flown! So fast its terrifying. And no it still doesn't feel real! 🤣 I think after spending 2 years on the ttc bus it's just really hard to move past that mindset? 🤷‍♀️

@Somatronic that sounds awful too, mine likes to play games, he just sent me a message saying hopefully my sick note will arrive soon, but a colleague told me it actually arrived yesterday, he only wants to worry me when he knows I am stuck at home

@Franklydear what an arsehole! Definitely has sociopathic tendencies. At least mine is mainly good, just her own insecurities and laziness cause me grief rather than any genuine badness. You're right about not taking the job too seriously - it's just a job. Nothing to worry ourselves about too much!

@Somatronic I was going to call today or tomorrow to keep in touch, but I'll leave it for Friday afternoon to say whether I'll go to work next week or not, I did send the dates of any medical appointments so, one less thing to do for the week

It's my HyCoSy today, well apparently it's actually a HyFoSy because they use foam now instead of whatever they used to use! I'm feeling very anxious, scared of the pain but more scared they'll tell me my tubes are blocked as I've had a c section and have endometriosis too

@polkadotpixie cd 28, I guess officially late, I had some very long cycles before so not entertaining testing until at least 32, enjoying my limbo, hope your procedure goes well, whatever they call it, and if tubes are blocked, this clears them
@Dawnbird give it a few more days, and try to relax, I know easy to say

I've just had my highest ever opk at 76%!
We go away tomorrow until Sunday so they'll be lots of DTD.. keeping fingers crossed for ov!

So, I had the HyFoSy. It hurt but not as bad as the HSG I had when TTC DS. Both my tubes are open but I felt a lot more pressure and pain when they did the left tube so I wonder if it was partially blocked and the foam cleared it? That was the side of my PUL/suspected ectopic last summer so hopefully it's cleared out any debris. I got pregnant with DS a week after my HSG so I'm hopeful for this cycle but trying to manage my expectations. She did say she couldn't see a dominant follicle but I'm only on CD9 so there's still time as I don't normally ovulate til CD14-16

@polkadotpixie glad to read HyFoSy went as well as it could. Got everything crossed for you this cycle is The Cycle.

I am very ugh about this work week, it's only Wednesday tomorrow 🙄 It has been busy and I am not in the mood. On the home front I sort of managed to get the house straightened up today and got on top of the laundry (dried AND folded!), so that's my evening gone. I want it to be weekend already!

@Mc3209 spotting intensifying, not full flow yet, and can’t even drink in this meds!

@Mc3209 I wanted to go away for a few days but DH wants to do up a room - it's the last bedroom in the house he needs to take down the wallpaper on, skim and paint it before we get a new upstairs carpet so he reckons we won't have time.

I might go to my mother's house for a few days and then come back to help with the painting!

BFN this morning again, but I struggled to sleep last night and had to get up to pee, so not sure how great that FMU was.

My boobs feel huge, temp is still high and I can't stop peeing so... feeling optimistic despite that. Trying to wind myself down from hope gently. 😓

I’ll be calling this a very light af, blood in pad overnight but not much flow, I feel a bit better than yesterday

@Somatronic yes for new resolutions about work. You won’t have time to look after two children when baby comes so it’s time your boss stepped up. Or at least you draw some very firm boundaries! She won’t like the boundaries but they’re absolutely your right to draw and then you’re going to get the heck out of there when you can!

@Mc3209 good work on sorting the house. I read that thread about growing up in a dirty messy house and am now paranoid that we live in one of them! Trying not to let my paranoia force me in to endless cleaning. We live in a do-er upper which we haven’t started on but am I traumatising my child?! I hope not…

@pennysays old houses are so hard to keep clean. Don't beat yourself up!

As long as it's not truly filthy (days old food, faeces/urine etc mess) kids won't really care. They might embarass you at school though by announcing their messy house to the whole class. Odds are half of them have houses just as bad or worse though!
