I had the best baby snuggles last night. One of my regular customers came in FIVE DAYS after a c-section. She was just coming in to our Dungeons & Dragons night to say hi and show him off while her brother was playing and ended up playing one of our short games as he was sleeping like a legend. So precious. ❤

@polkadotpixie good luck with the hycosy. Honestly the pain only lasts a minute. You'll be fine.

@pennysays still watching, cd 26, bit of action this morning and still nada, I have 1 internet cheapie, the rest are cb digi weeks so not much of a plan, really, but something will have to happen by the end of next week, one way or another
@polkadotpixie I second medicate in advance, not had it done to me but everybody says how much of a difference made to them

On the knitting orders, 8 have a couple of heart cushions so I’ll be making a few extra if anybody likes them... colour suggestions please, otherwise everything is purple

@pennysays yep, for sure. Impatience wins out every time. I'm feeling hopeful this cycle, good looking chart post OV, and lots of well timed DTD. But if not, ah well, there's always next month.

@Dawnbird for the first time in a long time, I too am feeling hopeful but I have no reason to pin it to, I am already in borrowed time though, last summer trying before dh sorts out more permanent contraception

@pennysays not much to report here! CD23 today, opks still very much negative as expected

Well, no cysts on the scan so that's good news. No answers to go with it though. She did confirm I ovulated recently though, so that's nice to know. Guess I'll know more when I hear back from the doc.

Also my first experience with the transvaginal ultrasound. Bit weird with something warm up in there. 😆

@Dawnbird 🤣 I hope your OH is 'warm' too, else there's a problem. 🤭 It shouldn't be that warm though? Unless they hadn't let it cool from its cleaning process. Honestly now I don't even think about it I've had that many. 🙄 Becomes normal.

@polkadotpixie I think it won't be as bad as you think. Take ibuprofen before and try to relax. Definitely helps. Its over fast.

@Dawnbird good news on the scan… I have mine on the 23rd! Last one was clear, so not sure what they’ll be looking for exactly. But that’s the way it goes!

Hi ladies! I’ve had a lot of fun reading the thread till now and wanted a ticket to join the bus! However I may be moving to the side car already as I took a test today and I got a BFP!

@pennysays health okay, slept lots today, little achieved but ate too much sugar so tummy ache now, boobs on fire but apart from selfinflicted heartburn, no pms, knickers clean as a whistle, cd 27, looking back 13/14 dpo as a best guess, x-rays booked for the end of the month, for lungs though

@pennysays I'm fine thanks! 30 weeks now and fat. 🙈

My hormones are a bit all over the shop. My skin is breaking out in spots, I look like a teenager 😫 (I am 33). Thankfully I still have to wear a facemask at work to cover up this abomination. I normally have clear skin, but hormonal breakouts throw a curve ball in.
My 18 months old is trying to drop his nap, so I have a small grumpy gremlin on my hands most evenings. I want a holiday. A long one.

Going to try and hold off as long a possible, AF due on the 27th/15DPO, but working on the ‘6 days sooner’ claim I may start around 9/10 (out of sheer impatience).

@jammyrose don't do it, you'll only get doubt, I'll test eventually, assuming knickers stay clean, not pms at all, just indigestion and sore boobs, , who knows, at this point I won't relax until I see the 3+ weeks so no rush
@Mc3209 very good sign, I usually get spotting, I want a holiday too, mostly because I've been ill for half a year and sick of it

@paintfairy yeah, this was warm warm, like maybe she heated it intentionally so it wasn't cold? Possible RE the not cooled down from the steriliser.

BFN today at 10DPO, had a bit of a temp drop this morning so wasn't super hopeful, but not out of the race yet. Might test in a couple of days if my temps are looking good, otherwise I'll wait for AF.

DP is going to get his marching orders to get tested if this month doesn't work out.

@Dawnbird I'm glad the scan went well. The first time I saw the wand covered in a condom and lube was jarring to say the least. I don't know why but I found it really gross. I've had countless internal scans.

@pennysays nothing to report really! Just really tired so going to bed early which is weird for me.

Also have never hated my job as much as I hate it at the moment but I have to stay obviously for maternity benefits. Hopefully I'll feel better about it in a few weeks. Might take some time off in June.

im sorry you hate your job @Somatronic from what I remember its pretty stressful job with a very demanding boss? If you’re tired then it’s no wonder it’s taking its toll.

@Somatronic i am not fond of mine either, I think mine got worst because my boss is a moron, and likes to set up a weird pranky atmosphere and also only hires teenagers which makes the team unreliable and unhelpful, but 80% are now under 25 so, what you expect? my view it’s a job, I can do it comfortably and pays the bills, you’ll be off for months soon enough
