@Franklydear one can argue it's the best way to TTC, just having a good time with DTD and not going nuts over ovulation sticks etc.

Speaking of ovulation sticks, I got my supply yesterday, will start doing them today. I am a bit meh about tracking it, but on the other hand who can resist peeing in a pot and dipping some tests into it 😬 I just want to know if I'm ovulating or not.

@loveq indeed don’t give up yet. Many of our BFPs have come a long time after 9 cycles! It’s hard to stay motivated and it really helps to take a break and not think about for a while.

@polkadotpixie yes I have thought about clomid as I ovulate irregularly and it might be worth a try. I do get a bit sick of waiting around though, my DP is really dragging his feet, having given me the hard sell on having another one. I’m now on month 15 of trying and I get impatient. Although actually in my heart of hearts I know dp and I need to do some relationship repair before launching into another baby. We’re more like housemates than partners and it has to change before we bring another baby into the world. But I also want to keep trying in the meantime because it’s taking so fucking long!!

Anyway. Enough of my pity party. How did your ovulation party go this month?

Yea welcome @Mc3209 you might need to give yourself a bit of time after the Pill to let your hormones come back to normal and see if your period return. If breast feeding is still preventing you from having periods then getting pregnant is unlikely. Ovulation sticks are helpful as is taking your bbtz My cycles are mad and the sticks help me understand when I am ovulating and the bbt is the only way to guarantee that you have ovulated (rather than just has a spike but with no egg actually released which also can happen). I like the premom app for logging opk sticks.

I just want to say a huge ❤to the NHS who I phoned in a panic when my period came to today to ask for my day 2 blood test (I’ve been waiting for my period since February!!) and they magicked a blood test for my before 11 am this morning. Thanks lovely doctors surgery!

@pennysays I am hoping it's the post pill rebalance rather than BF. Although AF came pretty swiftly after the pill first time around..
I work nights occasionally, I don't think I will be able to meanfully bbt. Let's see what the ovulation sticks show.

@Mc3209 hope so, and welcome! One cool bit of info is apparently conceiving while breastfeeding hugely increases your chances of having twins.

We've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility after 2 years of trying and I feel, well, weird. I don't know how to process these news, and yesterday (when my dr tols us), I forgot to ask if we should keep trying naturally with DH or just forget all about it and call it a day 😩
