Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

@lakejupiter I guess it depends whether you still satisfy 2 out of the 3 criteria for PCOS? So if your scan was clear but your bloods weren't and you have clinical symptoms then you still qualify for the diagnosis, but if you don't tick any others off, then you don't have it. Or rather what the doctors used to say to me was that they couldn't prove I had it right now but couldn't say I wouldn't get diagnosed in the future 🙄 definitely worth asking your GP about though if you're not sure

@LoveQ bodies are such teases! Hope you're doing OK

@dmb91 nothing wrong with a December baby 😉 yeah, I've read that about PCOS and OPKs, it's because you can get false positives with them as with PCOS your body can sometimes attempt to ovulate multiple times in a cycle. Your GP doesn't sound as helpful as they could be

Nothing to report really, trying not to dwell on what's going on and just hoping we make it to the viability scan. Hard to hold onto hope that this embryo will go the distance but there's nothing I can do except wait

@Dawnbird it's normal to have variation in temps during the FP but your low ones are pretty hypothermic looking lol. I have a feeling you might sleep with your mouth open? Try keeping your mouth closed for a couple of minutes before taking your temp. For reference I wouldn't really expect you to have temps below 36 degrees

@polkadotpixie holy crap. How bad was the burglary??

@Dawnbird also I've noticed your temps are in perfect 0.1C measurements - does this mean you're using a regular thermometer?

@InkyPaper how are you feeling, any symptoms yet? Will you wait until the viability scan before you join the side car?

@Juno231 my boobs are like rocks 😂 and I get cramps a fair bit, aside from that not much else so far. Yeah, I think I'll be waiting till the scan to see if I'll join the sidecar or not - feels like tempting fate to join it now!

Thank you @larrythelizard @BellatrixK @Juno231 my AF hasn't arrived yet but my longest cycle was 29 days since coming off the pill so I'm going to stay away from any more tests until Friday 🤞🏻

@InkyPaper yeah our bodies can be a tease big time, hoping this time it's not though and I get a BFP at the end of the week 🤞🏻

GP said call EPU, did that, they only have an answer phone service so you have to leave a message, did that too, and they called me back but it was while I was in a meeting with my boss and obviously didn’t have my phone on me. Didn’t finish until after they closed so will have to try again tomorrow. That’s going to be an issue too as I’m offsite, also somewhere I won’t always have my phone! What a palaver…

Yeah, it was the only one the pharmacy had and online said one decimal place should be enough. Would a better one be more stable? It was a pretty cold night for the lowest one, we had the window open so cats could get out. It was also pretty low last night though and 36.1 again. I guess I could try vaginal temping, have heard it can be more reliable.

Also by pretty cold I mean it dropped to like 10 degrees, not super cold. It's still tail end of summer here.

I think I'm 10 or 11 DPO. Tested yesterday. Negative obviously. Don't know why I bothered when we missed ovulation due to the SA and apparently his sperm is rubbish anyway at the moment. I think the frustration at waiting for IVF and hearing nothing is getting to me.

@Somatronic testing is a compulsion I swear, go easy on yourself. I did consider not testing and having some dignity seen as this is my last cycle ttc but I checked and have ten cheapy tests so think I'll just go down in flames with a poas fest 😂

Currently CD 28 😄😄 I've only ever got this far 1 cycle since coming off the pill.
I dont have slightly tender breasts though which is usually a indicator that AF is heading my way, I'm going to try and hold off until Friday or Saturday Am to test 🤞🏻

@Manifestingbaby haha! I have visions of you surrounded by cheap tests and bottles of wee in a crazed orgy of peeing on sticks. Brilliant. Did you have any more thoughts on whether you'll stay off contraception and see what happens?

@LoveQ I admire your self-restraint. I'm going to try to be like you and not test again. AF is due any day now.

@Somatronic well I've already testes twice last week so I wouldn't say I've been that restrained, I'm getting tempted as well 😅 just don't want to see another BFN

@Somatronic i think it's going to have to be contraception really otherwise what's the difference to now ? The bit of hope will keep me suffering. I need the headspace. I think after a few months I'll have either accepted it and be ok moving on or I'll still be broody and end up ttc again but either way I need to stop now.

@Manifestingbaby it definitely seems like you need a full, proper break. Like you say, the break might help you to make your mind up fully.
