Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

I'm sure she'll still be around and you can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where a lot of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

We have a fabulous history of BFPs on this thread since @Minster2012 took over and we need to keep it up...no slacking!

Although I'm also just cheerleading also, most of us have been here a fair while. And completely understand the ttc struggles of everyone else. In fact, I originally came on this bus in feb 2020 and yes, it really has taken all that time. But today I had my 12 week scan, and there's still a baby in there! 🥳 Fingers crossed for everyone else on here. 🤞

I tested this morning and it was a BFN. I could be too early since I don’t know exactly when I ovulated, especially with the booster jab. I think about 11dpo? Ish. Still is gutting though.

Anyway, I think I might use OPKs this month. Any recommendations? I do have the holder for the smiley face ones, so much just get more sticks?

@bez91 its hilarious. Although I'm not actually sure it was appropriate and I do feel sorry for her. It would put me off ever going again! Everyone has taken the piss but really she was sexually assaulted if it's true.

Taking my seat. Having a shit time atm. The three pregnant people at work (there's only five of us under the age of 50) are 26, 21 and 20 weeks, two boys so far, gender reveal on Sunday for the 3rd and it's hit me hard!
Waiting for appointment for scan of ovaries but feel like we can't count the last six months of trying due to not ovulating/bleeding in that time.
Just super frustrated with my body!

@BellatrixK if it was too early and bfn I used to use clearblue digital ones, the pink or purple ones. Depends if you like the flashing ones or not. You can't just buy more sticks, you get a new holder each time.

Oh no @dmb91, that sounds really tough. I was at a wedding over Christmas where there were so many people who had just announced pregnancies. It floored me. It’s so hard.

@Somatronic yes I was on a health kick an I did well and lost like 9lb but then Xmas meals and Xmas happened, my diet went out the window and I've not stepped on the scales since lol. I need to get back on with it. How are you getting on so far? It definitely is hard. I need to sort my mojo out.

@dmb91 I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I've had pretty much all of my good work friends have babies or be pregnant recently and it SUCKS!!! It's utter shite. If you need to have a rant or anything, this is a safe space for that. Sucks when everyone around you is pregnant and you can get away from it. Sending lots of love and strength 💕

@BellatrixK I've got opk ready to start again this cycle and I just go simple and use the femometer dip sticks and the app. I used them 2 of 3 pregnancies so I know they work for me and don't cost too much. Glad you enjoyed the wine!

@Sausage1990 are you moving area or just to something bigger? Moving is strange if you like the house and see the advert, its sad somehow? I suppose its the memories you are attached to rather than the building but a big step all the same. I've actually written a few really good sale ads for my horses in the past, with good photos, and every time I read them I was like- wtf? Why would I do this? And promptly changed my mind. 🤣

@BellatrixK I've got some purple sticks spare but I've just looked and they are out of date. 🙄 I was going to say you can happily have them. The proper ones are expensive, I found the cheap ones worked fine for me though.

@Sausage1990, I love house ads… I spent lockdown trawling through them. My DH says I was stalking our current house. I love yours though, the hall floor is gorgeous!

@paintfairy that’s so kind, thank you. I think I will go for the cheap ones and see how I get on. They weren’t working well for me, I never got a static but I’m not actually sure I was ovulating those cycles (it was just after a loss). I might try again if I need to in a month or two.

Ohhh, @Franklydear, that’s on my list. I might watch it if AF shows this weekend for some cathartic crying!

@BellatrixK I should have waited for that, it’ll be needed, I didn’t test yet, and I don’t feel inclined to, but last night I dreamed I was pregnant, a girl, and I was knitting so many dresses, and a rainbow blanket to match minster’s... so I guess, deep down I am not done

@Sausage1990 I thought that with ours I was damn my house looks good, then I realised it only looked that good after cleaning, not having the dogs in the house or the toddler so I was like ahhhh it's all relative 😂

@lakejupiter we used the fertili after DTD, if we didn't then we ended up with a huge lake of sperm in the sheets instead of in me, I concluded I must have a huge cavernous foof where the hood sperm just slide out!😂

I loved maid @Franklydear but it definitely made me cry.

@Minster2012 lol cavernous foof. Even with the cap I am finding it hard to keep the lil suckers in - on days 2 and 3 of trying jt was okay but on day 1 my coparent had been saving himself for a week or so beforehand and I couldn't put the cup in without displacing some of the sperm?! I also think I went a bit heavy handed with the preseed but I didn't have any EWCM on the first day (got it on second day) so wanted to make sure the environment wasn't hostile!

@lakejupiter oh god I used preseed too & often found out less was more! Bless him saving himself, if it's any use for those of us that did sperm analysis/ivf they say the optimum sample is no ejaculation for 3 days. I'm sure you'll get more used to it. I def found it tricky to start then got the hang

@RMS0209 I def did DTD during TWW. I also drank too (copious amounts actually the 2 weeks 2 or 3 weeks out of the month I conceived this one on as we had a holiday week, a bank holiday weekend without DS & a birthday weekend away for FILs birthday the weekend I then tested) here's my chart for my BFP month
@LoveQ it might be interesting for you too. Very interestingly my temp was nose diving which usually means AF coming bit not in my case
