Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I think I'm 12dpo. This morning it was negative, this afternoon it was a bfp

the picture you posted yesterday looks very similar to what I saw at 12pm just a few hours later I got a "true" peak. What you've posted today looks like a true peak. Not to worry as long as you've dtd anytime around this you should be good to go! Sending you baby dust! :)

Hi everyone, I’m currently in my 2nd cycle of TTC and hoping to join this lucky thread.
Congrats to those who have got their BFPs this month! Please could I ask what symptoms you have had?

Day 12-14 (potentially since i'm awful at understanding conception) BFN lots of watery CM (TMI: making the crotch of my knickers see through!) and CP high and soft....

I'm hopeful...this would be our first child. I wonder if the body just doesn't know what to do with that is happening since i'm an old goat TTC

I'm 43 ttc no 1, 3 miscarriages and really not holding hope for this month as we only dtd on 31 Dec. My ovulation was 4th Jan. Period due 17th Jan. My boobs are mega sore and at 8dpo which was yesterday I had very light brown spotting..... But only time will tell.... Good luck everyone x

Started my tww today, ovulated just yesterday. Ttc for my baby #2. Already have a dc who is about to turn 2 on Saturday!

We are literally in the same boat.. Starting the TWW.. Ttc #2 as my son just turned 2 😊

@madeleine85 & @rmummyofone we dtd this evening to cover all bases and OH said I've reached my monthly allowance 😂 He's not a big fan of calculated BD.

I think I caught my peak and if not then I've given it my best shot this cycle. Here's my premom chart..

Let's see 😊 onto obsessive symptom spotting and poas too early - my favourite part of the cycle 😂
its odd because I was telling my friend that its very odd knowing this will be my last ttc and last pregnancy as OH & I only want 2 children. I'm. Going to miss the excitement of ttc and waiting for that bfp.

@miamom I am so so sorry to hear about your two dc passing, I am lost for words. Sending so much love 💐❤️.

I know I’m probably being so crazy and I said I was going to wait a few days to test, and I manage to stick to it all day and then by evening time I don’t know what comes over me! I’m only 8/9DPO. Can you see any sort of shadow or line on this bottom test? Ignore the others, they’re from 7DPO (I know I really need to step away from the tests!)

@Moonshine160 I maybe see something, but it is a maybe/big squint?? I know you really want this, but FMU is really the best. I found mine to be more concentrated one hour after I woke up somehow. I have everything crossed for you in the next few days. Do you have symptoms that are making you think that this could be the month? x

@Billymay @madeleine85 thanks for looking both of you, I know it’s a major squint if anything at all. To be honest I think I never dare test in the morning because if it’s negative I know how upset and disappointed I’ll be. Whereas when I test in the evening I can just reassure myself that because it’s early/not FMU then I probably won’t see anything anyway. I just try and cling onto that bit of hope if that makes sense
No I feel the same as normal really. I usually don’t test until the day of my period so I’m not sure why I’ve started early testing this month but now I’ve started I can’t seem to stop! X
