Hoping to get our BFPs in January - the story continues

Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

Will tag everyone I can see below... please join if I missed you!

@rmummyofone, so sorry, I didn't get any notifications yesterday - I see your line. Hope you had a wonderful birthday today and 🤞 for a nice clear BFP on Tuesday.

Hugs for all those with BFNs and AF, it's rough. Just waiting for my AF blues to die down and the clouds to lift.

Really interesting that some of you had EWCM after ovulation - I did too this month, for 3 days on and off after I must have ovulated, given my luteal phase is a stubborn 10 days right now. Never noticed it before and it was really confusing!

So after yesterday’s conversation re FRER’s I opened one this morning and then figured I may as well take it as I’m 10dpo. I couldn’t see an indent before I used it (even looking with my torch) but I can see one after using it. Confusing. Seems it is really hit and miss with FRERs at the moment. How annoying. Why design them that way and not tell us in the instructions?

I had an indent line last month and the month before. Last months was so so convincing, similar to what I see on MN. They have been pretty notorious for a while

That looks like more than an indent to me... Are you sure it's not a faint positive??

I feel like mine would look more like yours if it were a true positive as I’m a day ahead of you. I’ll test at 12dpo to check again but I’m pretty sure I’m out.

Thank you! Still on the air of caution as I've got 5 days until af but I've got some frers coming later on so I can get a nice line progression.

My AF is now officially 2 days late but I'm strangely feeling too nervous to test as I'm still feeling on and off cramps - but also a bit of breast tenderness and nausea although I can also get that before AF too.

I couldn't wait to test but now feeling a bit scared too - like if I don't then I can imagine I am pregnant but if I test it could become not true!

Thank you so much for your messages and sending baby dust to all of you!
OH wouldn't believe my frer until he saw a clearblue digital - clear as day it said PREGNANT. Cheapy strip still barely visible but it just goes to show the difference between tests.
It still doesn't feel real I suppose after AF due day on Friday, I will be able to relax a little more.

R.e. FRER with indent, are these from shops like boots, or on amazon? There was a few posts recently about fake FRER being sold on amazon with indents x

AF arrived today (I think). Very dark brown, bit unusual, but 11dpo and only a day earlier than due. I think every month is implantation usually, so just trying to accept it this month x

Feeling even more out at the moment. I had tiny bits of brown spotting yesterday evening and this morning. I'm really cross I'm spotting so early. I can normally get to at least 12dpo before my hopes are dashed haha.

Good luck 🤞 I'm interested to know as I had spotting this month. I'm so desperately wishing it's IB but I had covid, could be linked to that. I'm not opk testing so it was either 5&6dpo or 8&9dpo I'm not sure if I ovulated cd13 or cd16 or in between x
