Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I'm out. Woke up with the most horrendous cramps and spotting. Expecting it to be full AF within a few hours.
Oh well. Gives me more time to lose weight and stuff before we have a baby

I'm out too. Valentine's Day, wedding anniversary and hubbys birthday next month so here we go again

I hope you don't mind me joining ? I'm currently 9 DPO and due AF next Tuesday, we're TTC # 2 and I've been tracking my cycles pretty much since we had our first 3 years ago, however this is our first cycle TTC and it's been strange so I just wanted to get your opinions ...

So I ovulated on 11/1 - I didn't test but I get the same cramps every month and had a small amount of ovulation bleeding (barely noticeable) and lots of EWCM. However when I got to 6DPO I started getting period pains around mid day and then when my husband got home at 3 I started bleeding (TMI I'll attach a photo) it was red so I'm not sure if it's implantation bleeding because I've read that it's supposed to be pink / brown not red, and it got a little heavy but not enough to get onto a pad only when I wiped, then around 9pm I wiped and saw a really small blood clot then that was it the cramps were gone by the morning and so was the bleeding 🤷🏻‍♀️ has anyone had anything like this before? I've never ever had a mid cycle bleed only slight amounts when I ovulate and not even all the time ... I haven't tested yet I'm holding out till Saturday 🙏🏻✨

@rmummyofone Before I found out I was pregnant with my son my only symptom was feeling hot at night and even then that was at 12dpo. No symptoms doesn’t mean you’re out :)

I'm also feeling out for this month.. feel quite low really. 8dpo and no symptoms at all..

I’m 7DPO & the same. No symptoms other than severe crankiness which could be PMT

@rmummyofone i think by the time OPKs go positive, you'd be getting at least a faint line on a HPT

@rmummyofone they do pick up the same hormone, but it takes more hcg to trigger them I think, so you’d be better just poas with a regular test. Sorry I know that’s not a great answer

Hi everyone, just joining as I'm 3DPO and driving myself a bit mad. I've had 3 cycles since coming off the pill and have had very short LPs (5-6 days, does seem to be getting a day or so longer each time) so I'm not feeling too optimistic. Woken up with cramps today, bloated and have EWCM (never thought I'd be sharing that online, what has TTC done to me!?) I guess probably too early for implantation so could well be AF on its way but I hope not. Took me 3 months to get my period back after coming off the pill so this already feels like a journey, although it's very short compared to some.

@arianasky I've just spent about £100 on supplements for me and DH. TTC is so expensive!

@Desperatelyboredhousewife Are you sure you're 3dpo if you still have EWCM? Sorry to pry.

@TheBirdintheCave I have been doing OPKs and got a peak on Monday so I'm pretty sure - symptoms have been consistent with previous ovulation too. I suppose you never 100% know, I don't track temp or anything. I have noticed similar in previous cycles too, I think, although it's a bit hard to remember what happened when haha

I realised it's not EWCM, TMI but can be leftover sperm coming back out lol sorry tmi 😭

I did cave today and did an internet easy @ home cheapie. The faintest pink line has shown up! Funnily enough wasn't FMU. The test I took with fmu had a tiny shadow.
Really hoping this isn't a nasty indent so I'm gonna wait until AF is due on Tuesday and test properly then. For a definite answer lol
I was watching one born every minute late last night and felt cramps like true period cramps but couldn't tell if it was in my head or if it was true cramping!

DH could see the little line but agreed with me not to get too excited and wait until Tuesday. We really want this bfp this month 🥺

@rmummyofone ah ok, it could be that yeah, we knew I was ovulating so we had sex a few times around that time. That’s useful
to know, ttc is very glamorous isn’t it! Will keep my fingers crossed for you for a strong BFP

@rmummyofone Im feeling okay thanks.. Very oily skin and feeling super tired. I had some spotting day after ovu but nothing since.
It's very exciting to see a second line even if it is faint ☺️
