Hoping to get our BFPs in January - the story continues

Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I'm out as AF arrived yesterday after being a few days late.

My mum took ill last week and we sadly lost her at the weekend so not really been thinking about TWW/TTC. Will see where my heads at for Feb nearer the FW.

Just want to wish all those still to test the best of luck ❤️

Still no sign of AF but only due on today I think. I'm starting to think I'm peri menopausal tbh!

Doesn't feel real still. Think I might have to pick up another couple tests at lunch.... DH is in the office today, so don't think it's going to hit me till I tell him tonight.

@Shortmamashortcycles I feel okay really..though definitely been more tired than usual lately - but that's a harder symptom to spot when TTC #2, as I'm always exhausted with a toddler now 😂

It's funny with DS I just "knew" I was pregnant before I took the test. Even though we were also trying for him, I think I've been way more focused on TTC this time so being more obsessive with testing than just listening to my body.

But also, still a bit early days so don't want to jinx anything!

@saltedcaramelanything, hahaha yes I know that feeling. I've not had a decent night's sleep in a week! Hope the tests give you peace of mind and allow you to reconnect to your body. 🤞 for a happy and healthy 9 months.

@Gemma3439, how are you doing today, hun? Did you do a test this morning as well as the one last night?

Ahhh massive congratulations @saltedcaramelanything and @HMFx !! Soo exciting!!

I had another bfn at 11dpo and some spotting that I usually get before af so im out as soon as she arrives properly. A bit gutted but trying to stay positive that it will happen! Hopefully next month will be the one!

@BH1926 I’m so so sorry for your loss. My mum passed away suddenly in April and I’ve never felt pain like it. Take all the time you need and I hope there’s a army of people behind you. Xxx

Depending on my work this afternoon I might go back through the two prior Jan threads and count.

But not sure whether BFPs that actually came in Dec should count! Might do a combined thread count and a Jan count...
