Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

Eek @HMFx that sounds like it could be hopeful! It's sooo hard not to analyse every little thing isn't it. I'm getting a lot of heartburn today but then have eaten badly so it's probably just that but that fleeting hope just wiggles its way in doesn't it! I am going to try to hold off testing til Thursday as af is due somewhere between then and Sunday according to different tracking apps 

Thanks @rmummyofone and @BabyBird20 - I'll keep you updated. I'm feeling surprisingly relaxed about it and just more excited to see what it is. Will try and resist testing but will let you know.

I've got a bit of cramping but on the left hand side (the side I ovulated from) but again not sure if this could just be the start of AF.

If my bbt rises tomorrow I'll probably feel a bit hopeful but also I've been a bit poorly this week so not sure how reliable it is! The RHR is bizarre it's never been this high since wearing my Fitbit over a year 🤷🏻‍♀️

So weird but I'm feeling twinges in my uterus area?? Feels really weirdly prickly.
Has anyone else had this??

@rmummyofone it can apparently be caused by the movement of the Fallopian tube as they move the egg down towards the uterus. Fingers crossed it's been fertilised on its way!

@HMFx that's a good sign too, I had really sharp cramps on my left side two days before my bfp last time at about 10 dpo!

The tww mania has hit me this evening. I've literally done back 2 years in my apps and been comparing all the symptoms I got then and what dpo and then convincing myself I'm out because I had cramps at 9/10 dpo that time and not got any today! Honestly it's bonkers isn't it!

@BabyBird20 me too. Absolutely bonkers behaviour from me today including a far too early test and repeatedly opening my fertility apps as though they are going to tell me something new 😂

I'm going to have to really resist testing tomo at 10dpo as know it'll be a bfn and then I'll be sad all day at work!

I'm going to have to really resist testing tomo at 10dpo as know it'll be a bfn and then I'll be sad all day at work!

Same here! I'm not going to test as like you said I'll only be grumpy. Let's just wait it out... (she says so strongly 🤣🤣)

I think I'm going to see how my spotting progresses. This evening had nothing! If by the weekend no AF then I will test xx

I was originally planning on trying for my second child in January but I have to have dental work done 🤦🏻‍♀️ so decided to push back until February. I decided to wait because of X-rays etc/ LA etc.

Couldn't find a February board so hope I am okay here x

Another temp drop and a BFN on FRER at 12dpo so thinking I’m out but normally get my AF at 12dpo. No sign of her yet but have lots of cramps and backache. Of course there’s that tiny bit of me clinging on but know I’m prob not pregnant this month :(

Big temp rise for me this morning but still spotting and it's a bit more on the light brown side. Feels like AF is coming but we shall see... still have cramps!

Morning all... I'm still in my TWW and AF is due on 28th/29th. No real crazy symptoms to spot apart from increased lotion cm but that's normal after you ovulate right?
We tried opks properly this month and got my peak on 13th so at least I know we're in for a chance 🤞🏻 anyone at the same cycle stage?

Damn, I'm out earlier than expected - have had spotting the last couple of days which stayed light but it's heavier this morning. Had a load of cramps yesterday too.

Kicking myself because I felt super nauseous all day yesterday and woke up in the middle of the night convinced I was pregnant. Then tossed and turned all night, and woke up to a streak of bright red blood and a stark white FRER. Which I shouldn't even have had in the house anyway.

My last BFP came after a load of spotting, cramping and nausea so I got a bit carried away. Oh well - I think the dreaded OPKs will be needed next month.

After yesterday's way too early test I'm feeling a bit saner. I had a massive temp drop this morning (8dpo) - not sure what that means but feeling decidedly like nothing is going on down there.

Think I was seeing things yesterday. Left the FRERS at OH's house! Done another home bargain cheapie which was definitely stark white!

Cramping like AF is coming. Hopefully she shows today (13dpo) so it'll be gone by Friday/Saturday!

@Shortmamashortcycles I was earlier too! Started AF last night, not sure about blue Monday hahah… see you across the other thread hopefully!

Stark white test at 11dpo...assuming I ovulated when I think, potentially a day or two off. I know it's early still, but feeling convinced I'm out this month.

And now have to start thinking if we want to hold off trying for a few months to avoid a Dec/Jan baby (with Christmas, DS & DH birthdays, it's an expensive few months)

@AmberRH1993 we're both the same this cycle! 6 dpo today. Had really weird twinges late into the night last night but that's about it for me as far as any symptoms go. Wby?

Hi @rmummyofone yes only increased lotion cm yesterday and generally very oily skin and hair but apart from that nothing to write home about really. I always start doing my cheapy hcg strips from today as it helps me to stay grounded and not get carried away symptoms spotting and googling.
