Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I never have before. Normally they stay low until I ovulate x

@oldermam could also be picking up on HGC but there's no way of knowing so I don't think it's useful to do OPKs outside of ovulation time. Fingers Xed for FRER ❤️

I'm not holding out much hope tbh. It's been a very stressful few weeks. And although we have tried. Only half arsedly. Plus it's my 40th on Friday. I have cocktails planned 😁

My TWW day:

Runs to bathroom to check pants, runs back to phone to refresh mumsnet, googles random stuff, recalculates potential ovulation dates, agonises over when we had sex. Runs to bathroom to check pants...

Urrgh. I think it should be socially acceptable to hide in bed watching TV for the 7 days before your period is due.

@Tinkerbell098 - i hate it so much. Every month I resolve to be chill, and every month I get to about 5 DPO and go insane.

AF not arrived and BFN :(

Not sure what to do next month. The odds are against us for a healthy pregnancy due to genetic issues. Although I'm disappointed this month I'm starting to wonder if we should go down the route of IVF.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? It's a tough decision to make.

@TheBirdintheCave I ha decamping 3-4dpo but put it down to constipation lol
5 dpo today 0 symptoms though it is too soon to tell right? With my dc1 I didn't get symptoms until the days leading up to my period.
I did get the runs / intense boob pain and strange acne before finding out. Oh and cramps!!
But these would have been around 8 dpo onwards. Most intense symptoms around 11dpo.

@melbxldn No I haven't had my booster! It's really bizarre and annoying! Having symptoms such as nausea, very slight cramping, dizziness and backache too! Our bodies can be so cruel sometimes!

@oldermam I was due on Friday so 3 days late today and no sign of her showing up still! I haven't been particularly stressed at all outside the usual festive stress and the ttc stress but nothing that would affect my cycle! I just either want my BFP or AF to show up now 😩

@rmummyofone I did some fervent Googling and there's some suggestion it might be the egg (fertilised or not) making its way down the fallopian tube and the cramping is associated with that. It did feel in the same place as when I ovulate so that theory would stand up.

When I was pregnant with my son we'd been trying for so long I just ignored the few symptoms I did have at 11-13dpo, haha. It was only looking back that I realised that feeling unusually hot should probably have been a clue. I had it again with my chemical last month so I think that must be a symptom to watch out for for me :) Still a looooong way to go however. The TWW sucks.

9dpo here and losing the plot! @Shortmamashortcycles you could have been describing me there! I've been trying so hard to convince myself that I'm out and to not be upset if af comes at the weekend because there's probably no hope anyway and the next second I'm testing and getting sad that it's bfn at 9dpo!! My cycle varies by up to 5 days so one app is saying to test from tomo and another is saying period due in 5 days! I will try and avoid testing again til 19th... need someone to tell me to keep away from the tests!!

That and I'm convinced that I'm tempting fate by even considering testing before AF is due...

@Shortmamashortcycles have I looked at that link multiple times? Yes. Did I, earlier today, at 7dpo, take the cheap test that came free with my syringes? Also yes. No dignity in this 2ww 😭

@lakejupiter, that's also why I usually don't have any HPTs in the house! 🤣🤣🤣

@Shortmamashortcycles glad that was my only one! I knew as soon as I got the freebie that I would abuse it in a moment of weakness 😂

I think I'll test again on Friday as if AF dosen't turn up as I'll be a week late by that point and if still BFN then idek, probably just keep testing till AF shows up I guess 😅

Hi everyone! Think I might be out but also not sure. Had some very light pink colour on tissue when wiping but it's not really blood it's like a mix of blood and fluid (Soz TMI 😅)

I'm 8/9dpo and do usually spot before my Period and do have short luteal phase but this colour is different to my usual spotting. It's usually dark brown. So really not sure what's happening but we will see. I don't feel too bad about it considering it's my first cycle but I'm interested to see what happens. Not sure if I should test tomorrow at 10dpo or just wait and see?!

Like you guys I'm driving myself mad!!! Another thing I've been noting is my resting heart rate it's gone up by 8bpm since I ovulated which I know can be a sign but my bbt did dip today which can be a sign of AF! You can see how my mind is in overdrive lol

Not sure if my spotting could be implantation bleeding is 8/9dpo too late? Anyway hopefully have some news either way soon!!! Going to try and hold out testing x

@HMFx sounds like implantation bleeding to me
You do implant anytime really after around 6-10dpo! Different websites say different things really!! I hope you get your bfp
