Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I ordered some HPTs yesterday on prime so will be here today, even though i promised myself i wouldnt i might cave.

@kizzy97 glad AF is staying away. Will you be testing FMU tomorrow do you think?

@Tinkerbell098 I think I will test tomorrow FMU if she still dosen't show up, it's making me really anxious now as the BFNs I'm having are so disheartening but at the same time this is the first time I've been late since I started trying! I just hope it's not my body playing some big cruel prank 🥺

@kizzy97 don't lose hope yet as some don't get a BFP straightaway, everyone's different. It's good news that AF hasn't showed up yet.
I got a BFN this morning at 10 dpo :( Didn't have too much hope this cycle due to covid though.

@Tinkerbell098 part of the difficulty is that with DS I didn't find out until I was 5 weeks so I was already a week late, so idk when the earliest a BFP would have shown up for me if that makes sense. I wouldn't count yourself out yet as it's still early!

11dpo. And a high reading again?

@oldermam you do get LH rises at various points in your cycle so I don't think you need to worry too much about it - mine goes up and down

Thank you, I'm 11dpo. I was 100% sure I was out this month. We only really dtd once in my fertile period, 2 days before ovulation and the sperm had only had about 10 hours to rebuild after a different activity earlier than day 😂. I didn't even think about this tww because I was just waiting for AF to arrive. Then last night I ate my dinner and suddenly felt so full I wanted to be sick after only half my usual sized portion. So I tested this morning with no real reason and I was so shocked. I can't believe it!

Ladies look at this for a bad evap

Hi ladies.

I just started using premom to check my opks. I have been getting a variety of fairly high to negative opks. Ovia is usually pretty close with my timings for period etc, but yet according to that and premom, I am now out of my fertile window 2 days ago. But none of my opks have been positive. I have this one I have done just now, this mornings one was weaker, can anyone tell me if this looks positive?
It's dark but the test line isn't quite as full as the control line. Does that matter? Do the lines have ro be both thickness or just colour strength? Premom says this is Peak at 1.0 it was high at 0.88 but I've left it sit for 3 or 4 minutes so within 10 minutes window and it now says its peak

@jazmine38, sorry I've just engaged brain - do you think you've got residual HCG still or was it just a shocking test? Sorry, perhaps not helpful questions right now...

So my life is so bitter sweet… I lost my mum suddenly in April when my baby was 6 weeks old 😢 I’m now having to isolate as my family have all tested positive for covid, I done a digital pregnancy test yesterday and was so excited that it was positive and then I hear today my mums stone was fitted yesterday and my dad didn’t want to tell me as I have a lot on my plate. Just feel so so sad that my mum isn’t here anymore, I’ve had to put my grief to one side to look after my 2 girls which has really helped but the thought of mum never knowing this one is heartbreaking or for her to be the first person I call after labour or to just help me when I feel down. It’s like I get something good and then some something sad happens. Xx

I know right! No, negative in the time frame, went down to put kettle on then back upstairs to this. (Once AF starts I won't torture myself like this anymore) @Shortmamashortcycles

@jazmine38, oh love... it's incredibly dark for an evap. Honestly if you haven't had AF by the middle of next week, I'd go to the GP and get a blood test. It's almost certainly a shitty test, but yeah... AF needs to show for your peace of mind.
